I got Kevins contact from a friend of mine whose in-laws have been getting Kevins help for decades in every real estate property they had purchased. So, I went with him on my primary residence in Arlington, DFW. Not only he offered my competitive rate, fast turnarounds, but I was so lucky that his trustworthiness on my documentation is known by the realtor community, the sellers broker agent particularly, and I was able to buy my dream property in a bidding situation. Kevin & his son followed up regularly with housewarming gift, refinancing opportunities, etc.Fast forward almost a year, after renting out my spare bedrooms, I have decided to go big and bought a rental property and I seek for Kevins help again. His rate was super competitive, his loan origination and underwriting fees are among the lowest, and his efficiency was second to none (to give you an idea, I was able to close in 3 weeks so that everyone could enjoy Christmas comfortably). Everyone from the two title companies I have worked with highly commended on Kevins professionalism. My realtor for the rental property is a loan originator herself but she told me to keep my business relationship with Kevin because she could not do better, let alone on smaller loan (under $200K). I was extremely surprised and touched that despite the small loan and non-primary residence, there was still another thoughtful housewarming gift. I hope I did not spoil it and give everyone the expectation of a gift :)Two months after that deal closing, the rental property is running pretty well and I feel like I am ready to be in the search again. Kevin is always there and willing to find ways to help me on the financing side, even if I am drained out of cash and cannot meet my desired 40% down payment on investment properties, or if I will need time to come up with assets and income to back my total mortgage debt.Besides of mortgage lending, I really think of Kevin as a friend and a mentor. I would not mind to ding him when I have a question on how to pay property taxes, how to look up past taxes, how to optimize homeowners insurance, among anything property-related.I highly recommend Kevin and his son. His business is really the best!
