I mistakenly scheduled two car payments instead of one through the online banking and of course I didnt notice until the two payments came out of my checking account at another bank. I called CUTX and spoke with Emlyn who said I could just email them with printout showing that the payment posted from my checking account and they would refund the duplicate payment. I logged into the online chat several hours later and chatted with Liliana, just asking if she could confirm my email with attachment was received. Not only did Liliana confirm that the email was there, she attached it to the open case for my payment refund. Within an hour, the refund was processed and available in my CUTX share account!! I was OK with waiting 1-3 business days, but Liliana went above and beyond to make sure the email went where it needed to be. Thank you Liliana!

The Bethany Ave, at Allen, TX is a great location to do your banking business. 5 stars to Trelon Sheffield Member Services Representative. He opened up a Second checking account for me, and followed total protocol, policies and procedures of the Credit Union. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of dealing with a Member Services Representative that not only lies to the customer, she doesnt follow protocol, polices and procedures. The location where this was done is in McKinney/Frisco TX off of Highway 121. The lady is a Hispanic lady sorry dont have a name. She is not to do credit checks and hard ones at that.especially if you have been a member for more than a year. You call back to speak to Branch Manager and regular tellars will cover up for this Member Representative instead of allowing her to take accountability for her actions. I cancel my account with this location and establish it at Allen, TX location, Bethany AveIF YOU WANT THINGS DONE RIGHT,SEE TRELON SHEFFIELD AT THE ALLEN OFFICE. In Allen TXThanks for Reading this! PS THE HORRID LOCATION HAD THE NERVE TO CALL ABOUT BRINGING IN BILLS TO PROVE MY ADDRESS, its only address I gave Credit Union!

I loved the ease and efficiency of the Bethany branch in Allen! Lori was incredible to work with - She had me funneled to the correct office without wait time. Her attentiveness and knowledge of the CUTX products was the clincher - She told me of several ways I could pivot to save money as well as an elegant way to shift processes to more streamlined.I met with Matt Moore after that and he was JUST as proficient. His attitude and demeanor were both professional and congenial - a hard balance to tow well but he did so quite well.I have an account with another large bank that I have had for 22 years as my primary banking - But after my experience today, I took home the paperwork today to make CUTX my primaryLOVED this banking process and never thought I would say that about a bank!

(***UPDATED FROM 1 STAR TO 5 STARS BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE OF ERYKA RAGSDALE...***)It pains me to write this but Ive paid off 3-4 Loans with CU of Tx but right now it is the worst Customer Service EVER. You cant get a person on the phone. I had my Credit Ran & not an email, call, text, or message back a week later??? You literally cant talk to anyone live on the phone & Ive paid off nearly $100k with these people. Maybe you have better luck going in but the Phone System & Follow UP now is deplorable. What legit organization runs a persons credit with a hard pull & falls off the planet? Heck even the car in my Avatar were paid off through C.U.of Tx.(What happened 3-8-24 for me to change my 1 STAR REVIEW to a 5 STAR REVIEW?) This morning 3-8-24 I get a call from the CUofTx & its Eryka Ragsdale & she wanted to know why I gave the review I gave. We spent an ample amount of time on the phone on me explaining why I stated what I stated & even did a 3 Way Call for her to hear the Customers Perspective. This woman cares on rectifying issues & this is the view I have when I think of CUofTX. My 5 Star Review is merely from the integrity & care she put into her call 24 hours later vs the service I experienced with the Loan Dept not following up with me after running my credit 3-4-24 & its 3-8-24. The Loan Side of this is literally chuckle worthy to me because I have the money to pay off the $17k worth of Credit Card Debt I just dont want to deplete my darn cash to pay off Credit Card Debt when I can get 20% - 40% off $17k buying & selling vehicles for the next 4-6 months vs spending it on eliminating Credit Cards as a whole. LOL.. Eryka you made me think positive towards CUofTx again like Ive always & I thank you for making me late for work this morning.. LOLS & SMILES... Picture me laughing about a $3,300 loan as you view this pic. Grinning!!! Luv Ya CUofTX. ERYKA RAGSDALE IS A JEWEL TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. Covid19 taught me Cash is King while FICO SCORES drive you in debt. I STILL LUV YA CUOFTX, but other departments need to learn from the Follow Up and care Eryka Ragsdale has. Winks & Grins..

I paid off a truck back in may of this year and slowly got my life turned upside down with it breaking down a few years early. I wasnt thrilled to have to be financing a new vehicle. However working with Nicole Neubert has been an absolute treat. Very knowledgable and kind to our situation. Im aware my Credit isnt as hot as it used to be especially when I have to max out a card to pay to get my old truck home. I was sitting very low and getting outrageous APR on used auto loans. Nicole was able to secure me a very low rate and explain so many benefits that CUTX offers. My very first great experience for my very first credit union. Ill be taking possession of the vehicle tommorow for a apr lower then when I had a 720 credit score. Ask me how she did it I do not know. But she was beating out my Chase bank rate by about 4% (ive been with them for 5 years and have they have seen me go from 30k a year to sub 100k) So I thought chase would treat me better then what they offered. Very impressed and had no questions go unanswered and I assure you I asked atleast 30 questions in out email chain. Thank you Nicole you have no idea how unhappy I was to have to even do this and you made a bad situation exciting.

Everyone here is super warm and brings a lift to your spirit. I worked with Lori, and while we were working, there were other customers happy to see the people behind the desk. Lori is a superstar, and I see why. 10/10 would recommend.The coffee shop next to the lobby is also awesome, and complimentary to customers of the bank.

I worked with Devonte today. He was extremely professional and personable. He escalated my auto loan and got it pushed through so I could purchase my vehicle today. He got me right over to the people I needed to talk to. He was also very knowledgeable and diligent about getting what I needed done accomplished. His customer service skills were outstanding and he deserves many praises and a raise. More employees in his field could model their approach after him and I guarantee the team will be ultra successful. Thanks Devonte, and I would highly recommend these guys to any potential customer.Carlos was my loan advisor and I cant rave about him enough. He literally worked with me and my wife from 10 am this morning until 5:17 pm. He sat through me negotiating with the salesman and all the side stunts they tried to pull on me. He kept encouraging and telling me to stand on what I believed was a fair price. After I left the lot he called to make sure I got home safely. He explained and broke everything down me. He literally left no stone unturned. He made me feel like family!!! I cant stress how important that was for me. He lifted me up today. I would highly recommend Carlos for any potential customer. Maybe it is just the culture of Credit Union of Texas, but to me Carlos exemplifies the type of employee you all want at your company. He definitely deserves and promotion and raise!!!

All the employees in , Credit Union of Texas at 900 W Bethany Dr. in Allen Texas are very charming and helpful .always with a big smile and prompt to take care of me. Every time I visit this place I am always welcoming like Kassandra Martin , Piedad Molina just to mention some of them , make me feel a very important customer and human been . By the way Kassandra helps big time with the process of my car loan., which letter on the car I bought got total by been parking in front of my house and Kassandra in coordinación with other employees that handle this issues within the branch helped me with the process on how to pay off the loan by making a claim with my own insurance which I didn’t have not clue on how to proceed in this cases. Thank u Kassandra you deserved a pay rise.

I have been a customer of the Credit Union of Texas for over 25 years. A fake person claiming to be from Amazon was able to steal $1,404.70 dollars from me. When I went into the banking center on Prince George Ave. an employee filed a fraud report for me. The fraud department gave me the run around and had me speaking with a lot of different people. The ultimate decision was that they would not refund not one of the four transactions this man made. I was very shocked that is is the type help they would give to a member who has been with them for 27 years.:(Update: I emailed them and sent in a letter to the company explaining my situation. They later decided to refund every transaction. I am glad I did not give up with the first “no” I was given. Persistence paid off and I am happy with the results.😊

I’ve heard some things about CUTX and dealers not wanting to deal with them because they are slow but Henry Wang is the MAN. Very respectful and quick to respond when I emailed or called. Patient from my hectic week of looking at cars and finally decided to buy one. He made it very easy and was ready for pick up the next day with all the terms and payment options. I would only deal with CUTX in Allen because it seems they have the right staff compared to others in Dallas. Thank you Henry and staff for making it easy during this tough time.

I highly recommend CUTX Allen location for auto loans at great rates! I recently purchased a new Jeep and financed it through CUTX and had an awesome experience, and this week I converted a lease vehicle into a buy-out loan and again experienced an easy process with a VERY competitive used car rate which was basically as good as a new car rate, both times beating the best deal offered by Chrysler and BMW financial, while offering flexible terms. My go-to loan rep is now Steve Lin, hell take great care of you through out the process!
