    Drew Brenner over at Willow Bend Mortgage made our first home buying experience a breeze. The VA Loan process can be a headache but Drew made it so easy. He was highly recommended through our realtor and we couldn’t be happier that he was. Being in the military makes it difficult at times to make time to be available especially during a home buying process. Drew was able to get us everything we needed electronically to ensure we were all on the same page and timeline. Not only was he able to quickly get us to close on the home even with the VA Loan process, but he was able to give us a better interest rate than what our credit union and bank offered us. We were able to close in a matter of weeks and moved into the home soon after. Without Drew’s help, we probably wouldn’t have got such a good deal on the rate nor have had such a fast closing date. We were also able to close at the beginning of the month which meant we didn’t have to make out first mortgage payment for basically two months. If I ever decide to buy another home, I’ll definitely be calling Drew first. I highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance with finding a lender for a home purchase. I’ll also be recommending him to family and friends. He even had recommendations and contacts for home owners insurance for which I got a great deal as well. Thank you Drew!

    I would give 5+ stars if I could!This review is primarily about Drew Brenner, not so much about Willow Bend Mortgage.I originally worked with Drew on my first purchase here in Dallas in 2016. At that time Drew was with a different company that was our in-house lender at the real estate company I work for. He did such an INCREDIBLE efficient job! I was so impressed with Drew, I used him again for my second purchase in 2018 even though he had changed companies (to Willow Bend Mortgage) and was no longer our in-house lender. That loan was a bit more challenging as we were looking for a two week close. But Drew and his assistant, Erin Kovalski, knocked it out of the ballpark and we closed as scheduled!Today (January 8, 2021), I just closed on another property which I used Drew again. And of course, he and his assistant, Erin, did another incredible job for me!Drew shops for the best loan programs to suit your financial needs. This is so important as many loan officers do not shop around and a borrower will end up paying higher rates and higher fees. Every loan I have gotten through Drew, I was utterly amazed at the rates and terms I received!I just cant say enough about Drew Brenner.     I have bought several properties in the past and have also done several refinances over the years and this recent home purchase was the smoothest Ive experienced so far thanks to Drew Brenner.Of course when I decided to purchase my house I contacted more than one mortgage company to get the best bang for the buck. It came down to two and they were both offering the same rate.At first, Drews numbers appeared to be a little higher than the other estimate which made me lean to the other company right away. But after comparing them very closely, I realized that Drew had been much more thorough and realistic with the estimates when you looked at them line by line. That is very important when you are really needing your bottom line to be as close possible to what your will actually have to pay out after you close.Over the years, buying and refinancing has become more cumbersome with each passing year, so you would think this would be my most stressful transaction. But it was actually the least stressful I can honestly say. It felt as if Drew was one step ahead throughout every phase of the process. He had me prepared well in advance of anything I would need and Im forever grateful to him for making this home purchase such a great experience.     When looking for a home it was hard to get a house that my wife and I wanted where the seller would take a VA loan. We were told that VA loans took too long. And, in the Dallas market (pre-covid) sellers could reject them for conventional loans -over asking. After about 2 years of this we were going to go with a conventional loan, but our realtor told us that Drew could get VA loans closed in 25 days which is the same as conventional.Drew was able to convince the sellers realer that he could get it done so, we finally got an offer accepted. Drew was a man of his word and carried us (first time buyers) through the process. He answered every question multiple times, and always answered his phone or called us back within the hour.He did everything he said hed do, got us a great rate, and closed on time.His service didnt change after we closed and was the exact same way when we called him with questions.
