Carson and his team were amazing throughout the entire home buying process. They were always one step ahead with the communication. They gave us recaps of phone conversations in document form via email. We were updated every step of the way and always felt like we were being heard.We are first time home buyers in a crazy market in the Austin area. Carson and his team are top notch! I was building a new house, and he was able to get me a better rate than the builder’s lender.Every week we get an email update with where we are at in the lending process. My wife even commented to me how nice it is to get those updates so we know where we are at, and what we still need to do. The process was so simple and painless for us.We also couldn’t write this review without thanking his team for such on the spot service. Meaghan was always there for us with any questions we had. Wendy was on top of making sure we had all the documents required. Carson helped make sure we got the best rate, and the right loan for our needs.I have recommended my family, friends, and clients to Carson. I have only received positive feedback. This was by far the smoothest transaction Ive had. The biggest impression Carson and his team (Meaghan and Windy) left with me was how attentive they were--despite how overwhelmed they mustve been through the peak of COVID-19 crisis lockdown, as well as processing applications from everyone rushing to refinance due to dropped rates. Whenever we interacted, it felt like I had their undivided attention. They gave solid, comprehensive answers to everything I asked, overcame my unique challenges quickly, and referred me to a network of quality vendors. When I asked competing lenders to review Carsons estimations, all three of them agreed I should proceed with Guild. That feedback alone implied Carson wasnt purely focused on profiting; he also values long term customer relationships. Thanks again for everything Carson and team!

Carson Vaughn is the quintessential professional senior mortgage loan officer with Guild Mortgage (now that is a mouthfull). No matter what is thrown his way, Carson is polite, communicates directly with others (not just by text), and stands up for his clients. I had a terrific experience myself with my home loan with Carson. He helped me and my husband with the best interest rate and loan he could find for us and conducted himself professionally with the Title Company to get us closed on time, especially when it came time to turn in documents for our closing. I also know this because I am a Realtor in Austin, Texas for 30 years and Carson has not only been my personal loan officer but he has also been there for my clients since the year 2000 and in all these years he has never failed us. I just cant imagine buying a home without Carson and his team at Guild Mortgage. He knows his stuff ( he has a really sharp mind in financing) and treats everyone with respect and courtesy and yes after all these years I can tell all who would like to know about Carson Vaughn, he is a very nice guy, a wonderful family man with a beautiful wife that I adore. Carson is great at what he does for people that would like to purchase or refinance their home. When my clients ask me for a good mortgage officer, I am just honest and tell them that I have been referring Carson Vaughn since 1999 just because I know that he will do his best and take care of them. When my husband and I decided to move again in 2005 to the Country just outside of Austin (Green Acres here we come) Carson was there for us with a good solid loan for us along with a terrific attutide on what made us happy! Working with Luke, Carson and the ENTIRE ATX TEAM at Guild Mortgage was incredible and surpassed my expectations! They were overly communicative (which is nice for a first-time home buyer) and they were able to get everything done in a short timeframe, with a quick turnaround. It was such a positive experience, compared to the previous lender I was working with. I appreciated the weekly status emails as well. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful and seem genuinely interested in helping me and made me feel like I was their only client. Due to the weather here in Texas, the closing agent was willing to meet us in the parking lot of the title company and close in her car(the office was opened so we were able to go inside).This is only one example of the great customer service I have received from your team. From the moment I called everyone I spoke to was pleasant and followed up in a timely manner. I never felt like I was forgotten in the process.We have refinanced a few times over the years. This was far and wide the best experience.
