    Admiral Harper helped me with my loan modification every step of the way. He answered all my questions in a decent amount of time, and I asked a lot! He was very forthcoming with information even if it wasnt what I wanted to hear—he gave me all the facts so I could make a sound informed decision. His customer service is spot on! To break it down, if you want someone who is going to be attentive, take their time with you, answer all your questions truthfully, and make sure you understand the process, then Admiral Harper is who you want as your loan officer during these tough times. I didnt expect this kind of follow-up from Carrington, especially since its rare for companies to take such steps nowadays. So, I wanted to share how Carrington addressed the issue and turned things around. I received the information I needed regarding my concerns, and I can now move forward with my planning.     Theres probably not a lot of people wholl say they love their Mortgager, but when Carrington says they want to keep people in their homes, they mean it! No matter who I speak to about whatever on the rare occasion I need to call, theyre ALWAYS pleasant, always helpful. Natalie made sure I understood what my options were, and encouraged me to reach out to her directly if I needed anything more. Kudos to Danielle and David as well, both were eager to answer questions and made sure I got to the correct person (also appreciate the soft transfer😉)So in summation, Thank you, Natalie!     After my divorce and unemployment I got behind on my mortgage payments. This was with another lender, which I got no help from. Carrington took over my loan and has been very honest and helpful. I feel like they really want me to be able to keep my house. Im very thankful.

    My family has been going through such a financial hardship since Covid which has greatly affected our ability to cover monthly bills, especially our mortgage.So, calling in to various customer service departments for utilities, loans, etc. to ask for extensions and assistance has unfortunately become a regular monthly occurrence....and honestly most of the reps are pretty cordial.But Belinda deserves a league of her own which supercedes just a cordial rep. Her calming tone accompanied by her genuine care & concern for our situation was truly what I needed at the time. She made me feel comforted by my options and was fully transparent about what I could possibly expect based on what decisions we made about our mortgage and loss mitigation loan.Plainly put, she was the guardian angel I needed and Im thankful to know Belinda, as well as, Carrington Mortgage is in my corner. 😇

    They are my favorite broker partner. My Rep Brett is the most responsive AE Ive ever worked with. Humberto is on top of all the files he gets. Kelly is top notch on her follow up. All the complaints I see have to be people unhappy because they werent qualified but probably wouldnt be qualified at any bank. Keep doing what youre doing. Thanks!

    After my mortgage company sold to Carrington I did a little research on this company and I saw the reviews. I was concerned and I tried to figure out what kind of actions I could take because I feel when I go into an agreement with somebody I should have some sort of say with who I get traded to. Its kind of like a marriage. You become a partner but when they traded me I didnt get to choose and instead they had 100% percent control even though I was the one able to shop around and find the best fit for myself initially. With that said dont believe everything you read. I have had no issues with this company I have not had to work with their departments much but theyve always accepted my payments and I have never had any problems with the service Ive used. From what I would expect the bad reviews have a lot that theyre not mentioning.

    Our concierge, Laura S., was great to work with as was the senior loan officer Lori M. as we worked through assuming a VA loan. Both were very professional, helpful, and courteous as we went through the process, our only complaint was having to submit some documents two and three times until the companys system could download them and then some did not transfer from the concierge to the loan officer who were located in different states and had to be resubmitted. Perhaps the IT department needs to rectify the document transfer process to enhance the experience and speed up the approval process, otherwise the overall experience was very positive. We look forward to continue our journey with Carrington.

    Tiffany Mesa is an absolute pleasure to work with. Tiffany, from the very beginning was extremely helpful, compassionate and caring. She was in constant and immediate contact with me through every step of the process. Tiffany is truly an asset to Carrington Mortgage Services. She took what was an extremely stressful situation for me , and made me feel at ease once I realized how hard she was working to get my situation back on track again. I cant thank Tiffany Mesa enough for all the time and effort she put in working to resolve my issues. To be honest, I was impressed with every single employee of Carrington Mortgage that I had spoken with throughout the process, but Tiffany stood out the most.     In 2020 I purchase my first investment property and used Carrington because of the service then I decided to use Carrington once again after getting decline from Wells Fargo bank on a simple refinance on a joint property I have with my father.     I had a recent re-fi to do some home improvement. Carrington already had my mortgage, having bought it from Chase several years ago. I have had very few problems with them and none that werent resolved to my satisfaction. The re-fi went very smooth, as we only took a very small percentage of our equity, (only what we needed for value adding renovations) and our housing market is great, with listings selling in weeks, not months. I am giving 5 stars but can come back and revise if something goes haywire and they dont provide the service I expect. We can easily sell or re-fi with another company, not worried a bit about that.

    I couldn’t have chosen a better company to help me through the loan process. Every employee was professional, polite and knowledgeable. I encountered one issue (not due to any mistakes by Carrington) and it was handled with immediate attention. Throughout the loan process Jennifer Perri was very prompt with answers to my questions. My memory isn’t always the best and I can worry about missing details, so I appreciate Jennifer’s patience and professionalism. Our loan process went through just fine, but later I encountered a problem with one financial institution. I was totally lost and read thru all the previous emails looking for a person to reach out to. I don’t think the problem was something Jennifer normally deals with, but I had confidence she wouldn’t turn me away. In the end it was a fantastic decision. Jennifer pointed the way and even checked with me later to make sure it was all resolved. Part of my former career involved quality assurance monitoring for healthcare. There is usually that one person or occurrence, whether good or bad, which determines your impressions regarding an organization. My final and lasting impression of Carrington Mortgage Services is a very favorable one.

    In March, my husband and I decided that we would try to get a home equity line of credit to consolidate our bills. After being turned down by two banks due to poor credit rating, I decided to reach out to Carrington. Our mortgage was the one bill that was current, paid early each month, and over the amount do. I spoke with a loan officer there (Rob Gardner) who said acquiring a HELOC would be possible and would be willing to help us.Roll forward a month later, after NUMEROUS phone calls and messages to Mr. Gardners voice mail (and he NEVER returned my calls), I tried calling Carringtons main line/Loan support line again, this time speaking with Toni. I explained everything that had happened to us - the declines by other banks, the avoidance that we seemed to get from Mr. Gardner, what we wanted to do. For over 30 minutes, she patiently listened, allowed me to vent, to cry and voice my frustrations. She genuinely wanted to help us, but because the process had been started by another loan officer she had to get approval. She promised to call me back within an hour, at the latest the next business day on what the next steps had to be. In less than 20 minutes she called back and said she had been given permission to proceed with helping us. She had even found the initial information that Mr. Gardner had collected - completely untouched. She promised me that she would work on our loan, that she felt like she could and would do everything possible to help us. And as the saying goes, the rest is history.Throughout the next four months (from April until today), either via email or phone call, Toni and I communicated. She kept me abreast of every phase of our loan refinance process. I messaged or called her anytime I had a doubt or worry. She always reassured me and lifted my spirits. She never put me off or seemed to ignore me. She made me feel as if I was her only client. Toni became my long distance friend. She stayed by us until our loan was completely funded (today)!!!! My husband and I KNOW that we could not have achieved the financing of this loan without her patience, faithfulness, and expertise.

I purchased my home after my divorce and the loan officer was helpful throughout the process, which can be overwhelming if youve never navigated something like this before. Thats why I recently took out a home equity loan with Carrington for home improvements. Loan officer Robert Laurie and loan processor Sarah Latiff were both great to work with. Professional from start to finish.

    Been with Carrington for a few years now. Never any difficulties after they bought the contract from Wells Fargo. We just refinanced our home through Carrington and the process went pretty smoothly. Carrington staff walked us through the process and closing was actually sooner than we had thought it would be. The online web site is easy to use. We would recommend Carrington based on our experiences with them and being happy doing business with Carrington.

    When everything seems to have gone wrong and I was directed to someone whom seemed to make everything right and manageable and achievable. That is absolutely amazing. To be pulled from stress and high anxiety within a matter of minutes. Just by speaking to a person whom you have never spoken with before, and to have such an amazing trust and friendship like feeling towards this person...well I cannot explain it., can you? Ms. Pamela did and said everything so perfectly, so kind and considerable that she just totally changed my day and all of my poor thought patterns. Pamela Ochoa handled this business as if it were her very own. And as if she could not let this multimillion dollar client slip through her fingers., But it was only me! A person with big problems, who did not know how to solve them. I came in looking for someone, anyone to guide me and to give me some type of understanding through this mess which I am in.. And here Ms. Pamela picked up that phone and answer my cry for help like a Super Heroine. With such calm and caring and cool, that I dont believe she registered anything except me being another one of her customers. That too, makes it so overwhelming to me. She had no idea what fantastic and great service she was rendering to me, for me. Because that is what she is accustomed to doing all the time! Is this not amazing! In the world that we live in today!? Someone who offers outstanding service and does not think it to be a big deal. She is the best thing that has happened to me in the last ten years!     John G. always responded to my emails and calls very promptly. If he didnt know the answer to my question he always took the time out to find an answer for. John was always very courteous to me and made me feel like family and he never lied to me. He was always up front with me and never promised me something that he could not do. She worked on the issue, followed through with the other departments and myself and deserves high accolades and credit for being an outstanding representative and employee of Carrington Mortgage Services. I am personally highly appreciative of her and all that she accomplished in rectifying the problems associated with my account. Most of them seem to be homeowners thinking carringtonmortgage is responsible for there failure to maintain a close eye on there acc every month .Im currently trying to refi now .     Carrington assumed my mortgage after several other companies had serviced it. They were head and shoulders better than any of the other companies, which included some name brand national banks. Just paid it off and have no complaints. They were always helpful and great.
