We officially closed October 25, 2024! What an amazing experience it was working with Build Texas Team / LoanPeople! Amazing company! Amazing mortgage lender! Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, at LoanPeople were awesome to work with. I cannot recall a single instance where I asked a question and I did not receive an answer that same day or the very next day. Building a custom home is stressful! I dont necessarily know that our situation was unique; however, we did have quite a bit going on ......building a home, selling a home.....it was quite a bit! LoanPeople made our lives easier by handling everything with a smile and with confidence! Not once did we ever encounter any doubts from LoanPeople. We are just blown away at the level of service we received! Customer service and in particular, personal customer service is a long lost art. NOT at LoanPeople. You truly feel like family with them. Stephanie and Angela were the nicest people we have ever encountered in the home lending business. If you are even considering buying a home, custom building, refinancing, PLEASE do yourself a favor and at least have a conversation with LoanPeople! You will not be disappointed! This company is the best!! We will definitely work with them in the future for possible refinancing and even investment property buying. We are hooked! Thank you so much LoanPeople for making our dream come true and doing it with such class and commitment.

Debbie Brown at LoanPeople was absolutely fantastic from the moment we first talked to her through the closing date on our home. As a first time homeowner, I didnt know what to expect and it all felt like a whirlwind, but Debbie broke everything down for me anytime I needed it. Even if I had a question that popped into my head at 9 p.m., she answered it without a complaint and was always willing to hop on the phone when I wanted to talk through any decisions. When we first started the home buying journey, I was worried about getting taken advantage of, but Debbie was honest about everything and really fought to get us the best rate possible and worked extremely hard for us to be able to close on time. It was such a pleasure to work with Debbie, and I can never thank her enough.

She always answered my questions and concerns and really fought hard for us to get the best rate. I had options going with a VA loan and discovered that I was entitled to more benefits that I didn’t know about, so I recommend these people they will steer you straight!

Without a doubt a great team to work with. Loan People came highly recommended and with good cause. After being lied to by Rocket Mortgage we were disgusted and tired of the process.
