I’m a unique loan situation as a travel Physical Therapist , so underwriters are very hesitant to approve loans to me. Benchmark in general and William Stewart in particular did a great job of working with me to fund the purchase of my first house , really working all angles and actually listening to my suggestions / information I offered to help them do that. Another company I worked with did absolutely none of that. I would recommend anyone to work with Benchmark, they did an excellent job.

This is a straight from the heart review. I was living in the Dominican Republic for the last 2 years. My wife decided we should return to Texas for the kids education in English. But how do we do that from DR? The answer get a great team. Your realtor (Victor), Gustavo and then add Aaron and the finance team equals Success. I never saw my new home until 1 month before closing. Everything was done by phone and internet. Unreal!!!!! We moved in 7/31/2024. Even survived a Beryl delay. But great people do exist and support, fight for you eventhough they never met you. God is great. Thanks to the whole Benchmark crew , Title company team and my realtor Victor Holguin. This past June I had a horrific experience with another mortgage officer/company that kept lying throughout the whole process, long story short, they were trying to charge almost 3 points on a $232k purchase on a VA loan, the deal fell through because that mortgage officer got greedy and tried to change our loan to an FHA because he gets paid more, ended up losing a bunch of money that we put into the home i.e. earnest money, inspections, etc. I got referred to Rosita from a friend of mine in late August, told Rosita the situation we went through and the circumstances with income and what not, we found a house the first of October, just like any other mortgage there will be some ups and downs but Rosita and Maricela (Sr. Processor) made it a lot more simple and straight to the point and we happily closed yesterday morning on a $355k purchase and we got money back on the closing. I will highly recommend them to anyone, especially my fellow veterans.
