Before I worked for Benchmark, they helped me purchase my first home in 2013. It was a seamless experience which made it a very exciting and memorable time in my life! I learned so much about the home buying process because the national lending center went above and beyond to explain each step thoroughly. I felt educated and equipped to make the most substantial financial decision I had made in my life as a 25 year old. Just this year, I refinanced and did my cash out loan through Benchmark, so I could build my dream home on the lot they helped me call my own. I’m forever grateful!

As first-time home buyers, the process is very intimidating. Paul and his team worked hard to ensure our mortgage experience was a great one. From our first meeting we felt comfortable that they would offer competitive rates and treat us well. My family and I are truly grateful for Benchmark. Craig Wilbur and his team Jodi Large and Rakeisha Warren were absolutely amazing they made my family’s dream of owning a home come true. They were available around the clock. I would send them emails and text in the middle of the night and to my surprise they would respond back immediately we didn’t have to wait until the next business day. I could go on and on about this trio. They definitely put their money where their mouth is. They didn’t make any promises that they couldn’t keep. I would recommend them to anyone in the market of buying a new home. They made the impossible; possible. I hear people talk about how stressful the home buying process is and I’m pleased to say I don’t know what the stress looks like becuase they made it super easy for me even when obstacles appeared they held our hands through them. I had one company tell me that they probably couldnt help me so I turned to these guys and they made it happen. I had a ton of questions along the way and Paul was very helpful in explaining the process. Another big win for me was that Paul was always available when I was calling or needed to swing by. He either picked up the phone quickly or called me right back.I HIGHLY recommend Benchmark Mortgage and have been recommending them anytime I bump into someone here in the RGV that is looking for a refinance or a full mortgage.
