We just recently purchased our first home (in November 2023) with the help of Brittany Rangel and Rebecca Bryan at Benchmark Mortgage Lubbock and we cannot give them enough praise. Prior to speaking with Brittany, we had applied with several lenders and none of them communicated or moved as quickly and efficiently as Benchmark Mortgage. Our own local bank (rhymes with, Lexus Trek Credit Union) never even followed up with us outside of email after we applied. We ultimately chose to go with Benchmark because of how communicative they were and just the overall exceptional level of customer service. As first time home buyers it was an overwhelming process but Brittany went above and beyond to make sure we really understood everything and really made the process simple and painless. Overall experience would great Christin has work hard on days and evenings sometimes to push it through but underwriting keeping putting is back because , there’s a few things we’re meet the guideline but Christin doesn’t give up she’s instantly get together with me and Saul this situation so is can be accepted and clear for closingbut overall is amazing. Christine and her team are excellent. I shopped around for various mortgage quotes, and all of them had no idea how Christine got us the great rate that she did. Christine herself went through the quote with me, explained every piece of jargon, gave me tips and tricks on saving money, and told me what was negotiable and what was a federal rate. This was all so helpful as a first-time homebuyer. We were overwhelmed with how much there was to know about the process, and Christine and her team made it so easy and straightforward. They answered all of my questions quickly and reminded us of deadlines and what to be on the lookout for. After we signed the papers and everything, she warned us of all the different types of scams that we would be receiving. Some of the scams are really convincing, so having her advice and counsel through not only the buying process, but after, was invaluable. Its also nice knowing that we are their customers for life. They will keep an eye out for rates to fall so that she can tell us when a good time to refinance would be. As a person who doesnt have the time to constantly be checking rates, or have a vast knowledge of the industry, this alone was a big ticket item off of our to-do list. I recommend Christine and her team to all of my friends.
