August REI is a great place to let manage your notes/mortgages They have a really good website tracking your notes online...it is very detailed, and you can even see things like when the borrower last contacted the servicer.A couple tips for anyone who uses them - I keep all my notes in Excel, and login once a month to match up what they have to what I have, to verify our records are the same. Thats a personal preference. So far their data is completely accurate. Also, they are good at collections, but when you have a large volume of notes sometimes a couple people will be behind despite that. So on their website you can simply sort your notes by when the next payment is due, and email August REI with a request to send a NOI letter to anyone who is too far behind and theyll do it right away (billed to the borrower). Usually the borrower catches up real quick when they get one of those...and bam all is well.They have turnkey connections to insurance for mortgages, attorneys for 2nd level collections and foreclosures, and more. They even do complex notes like wraps, and etc. They are also good / easy to communicate with, especially by email, which is my preferred way of communicating.5 stars!

Jasmine was very helpful and was able to explain to me what an escrow meant and give me a break down of the total payment. Now I understand how much of the total payment is going towards interest, escrow and principal. I am so glad that this company is able to provide me a history of all my payments since 2016, now am also able to do auto draft and online bill payment. The customer service that Jasmine provided has exceeded my expectations now I feel like I have personal dedicated person that I can call with all my questions especially knowing that she’s also bilingual.

Comprehensive and knowledgeable are two words that come to kind when I describe Erika. I had trouble knowing why I was paying so much on my mortgage (so I thought), and I called customer service and Erika helped me out. She broke everything down for me, to what an escrow payment was, why I had to pay it, how much interest payment was, and how much the principal was. She also gave me advice, such as the more money I put towards principal, the faster I can get my payments over with. She also helped me with questions regarding my credit score. And the best part is, not only is she just bilingual, but she is efficient in both Spanish and English, and is able to confidently switch between languages. Anyone who is helped by this customer service agent is extremely lucky.

I want to give them a special thanks for working diligently on my behalf and got my payoff taken care of and rectified. Thanks again Ladies.In the beginning there was only trials and tribulations after trials and tribulations alongside a lot of sleepless nights. There was so many ups and downs. There was some misunderstandings as well as frustrations. My biggest issue was my lender Hendrey Puebla he was my worst nightmare. I do not recommend doing any credible business with that guy he is a real piece of work.If it wasn’t for the lender, the miscommunication, and the unnecessary frustration I would have given 5 stars. Keep up the excellent job Angelica and the front office young lady you two are a great asset to August REI

We have a few loans serviced by August REI and they always go above and beyond to be sure everything is in place. They have to get the right information from the lenders in order to properly service a loan and many times Lenders do not provide the necessary information timely.
