Most of my interactions with these people were great. Friendly enough. My issues are thus... they make you pay to pull your credit reports (abt $50). As we progressed through the process I had at least three different people tell me all is good and I dont see any issues with your loan and then they told me I was provisionally approved. Great. This is where they get you. YOU have to pay a deposit (not refundable) for them to continue the application. Well about 2 weeks into this process after I paid them, they of course found a problem. They told me they would leave the application open for 3 months to resolve my issue but then I get a denial letter about a week later.So, to me, they are thieves. Any mortgage/loan companies Ive ever dealt with always take their fees on the back end of the loan and never asks you to put up money first. I should not have continued with this company.I knew better but did it anyway. Now Im out $550 to a shyster company.BE VERY CAREFUL USING THIS COMPANY!*********************************EDIT 1/19/2025I changed their score to 4 stars from 2.After I posted this review I was contacted by a representative from the customer care department. Within that conversation he (Merrill) listened to my complaint and seemed to genuinely care about a positive outcome. Since there was miscommunication between one of the other 3 members of the sales/underwriters etc...staff, Merrill offered to refund me the $500 deposit but said the amount paid to pull my credit reports was not refundable.This gives me hope that AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation isnt in it just to rip us off. Ill definitely consider using them when I am ready for me HELOC.I wont change them to a 5 star rating because of the misunderstanding in the process. If I could use half stars Id make my review 4.5 for the sole reason that Merrill was a genuine caring representative.

I cannot say enough Great Things about Mark and Taylor. If I called, they answered right away and if I emailed, they replied right away. I’ve never had any load experience as good as this one. VERY PROFESSIONAL on Every Level. I most absolutely refer family and friends to Amerisave, because I know they will have the same experience as I did. I applied for this loan shortly before my wife and I were leaving for a cruise in Europe for two weeks, knowing we would have to finish the process after we returned, as there was not enough time to get it done. They worked with me through phone calls and emails to get everything done three days before we were set to fly out. We assumed that we would schedule the closing and complete it when we got back. They scheduled the closing and set it up for the NEXT DAY and it was in our home!!!!! I’ve never had anyone work so hard to help me out, as they did. Cannot say enough Great Things About them!!

In all my years of business transactions, as a customer, manager in a fortune 500 company, and business owner, I dont recall such an exceptional person as Ty. From the very beginning of the loan process, Ty explained the entire loan process, what docs. AmeriSave required, and the length of time I could expect for the entire process to complete to closing date. Ty worked tirelessly sending needed documents, following up to be sure I received them and to assist and answer any questions I may have, from the beginning to closing day. Jason McBees level of expertise is incredible. If you need someone to guide you through the crazy housing market, Jason is your guy. He doesnt just throw numbers at you, he will teach you the best way to go. You can trust he has your back and will lead you in the correct direction.He helped me prequalify over the phone in less than 10 minutes. Incredible! I find it difficult filling out all the blanks on the online pre-qualification by myself.Then I paid to lock in my rates which Im very thankful he did& then I sent him the documents he needed. He explained everything so it was easy to understand.When I felt stressed out with the buying process, His southern accent on the other end of the phone would reassure me we will get there sooner rather then later! He was right!! Settlement came in less then a month. He gave me a good rate, and told me I dont have to escrow my taxes& home insurance if I put down a larger down payment. I wouldnt have known that. Now I dont have to pay interest on the taxes. He helped me to save money every where he could. As some others have stated, there is a $500 upfront fee. All their paperwork is very straightforward and their employees do a fantastic job answering questions. The rates they offer are very good and they are generally nice, but sometimes their phone system doesnt work and they do not answer emails in a timely manner. If you want to close on your loan, you will have to stay on top of them. Nothing in life comes free, and though the employees are generally nice, this company likely makes money on all those who would rather abandon their $500 then go through the work of being the nice squeaky wheel. Be nice, but dont let them forget you and youll get your mortgage financed.

I am late to write a review but I went with amarisave when buying my first house in July 2022. I dealt with Alexander mash and this dude will literally go above and beyond to get me on the right track. The process took almost a month to finalize due to my situation but it was way faster than other mortgage companies. They do ask alot of documents but it’s for your own good to get approved. I would definitely recommend all my fellow active duty members and veterans to give it a shot if you’re planning on buying a home.

Amerisave just loaned me a mortgage. I appreciated both Marianne and Kyle. Both were good to work with. Rates and fees are reasonable. There are a few area where they currently need improvement. The first and foremost being in the area of oversight of the info gathering process. They use a Portal for the client to download documents to. Im not sure who all has access to it on their end. Several times, I got requests for info that duplicated what I had already sent. However, the client cant see what has already been uploaded, (once you upload it there is no list for you to refer to). So keep your docs in a SENT pile! Im not sure why duplicate requests were sent, but when I brought it up to them, their story was that there were some junior people on the processing end, Im not sure if the underwriters are free to make requests to the client too, but perhaps the issue was with them. In any case, I thought that there should be a person assigned to oversee that aspect.The other issue is that the first Loan Originator assigned to my case, left the company, and for some reason had put my loan on hold. But apparently nobody noticed. After the closing date had come and gone, I called them to find out the status. They explained the situation, and Kyle took on my case. Within another two weeks, I had my loan!

Overall experience was great. I had contacted Amerisave as a fallback in case my other loan was not able to close. It was during a time the rates were going up and down within a matter of a day. Darius and his team knew they were my backup option and they were patient with me. I provided all docs and kept the application on hold. Other bank was not able to close in accordance to what they promised. Amerisave was able to get it done, with a rate below the other banks, and in a timely manner. Darius and his team were great. I would highly recommend using Darius and Amerisave. The online application system was easy to use and they would update it fairly quickly. The online portal kept you abrupt with all info needed, secure links to upload docs, and would let me know where I was at in the application process.I would recommend using Amerisave. It is the second mortgage I have had with them and would use them again.

According to another lender their closing costs were “ridiculously low”. The process was swift and relatively easy. I was very satisfied with the service they provided. When I wanted to modify the rate and terms of my refi at the last minute Mr Kyle Langham stepped in and made it all happen in a very timely manner. As a result I now have a new mortgage with a much lower rate and cash to me. I have since recommended two of my family members to AmeriSave for their refinance needs.

After trying another company that was not treating me well, I went with AmeriSave. I received a good interest rate, had good communications, their website was easy to use and helped the process proceed more smoothly, and all the employees I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Yes there is a $500 upfront fee, but other lenders usually charge $1000-1500 in origination charges and other lender fees at closing that AmeriSave does not charge.

Since I am retired and on a fixed income, I had tried at different times to inquire about refi of my mortgage with the purpose of lowering the monthly payments. I was told over and over again that they could not help me and I should stick with what I already had. However, the agent at AmeriSave Mortgage, worked with me and cleared up some of the issues that other companies did not want to handle. Austin Fitter, my agent, developed a proposal which addressed all my goals with the refi. When there were any problems, Austin dealt with them immediately. He worked closely with me so that I understood any modifications, and was always mindful of my goals. If a problems came up, he was on it immediately and came back top me with a plan. Mr. Fitter was always available for any questions. I ended up with a mortgage which will save me a considerable amount every month, and allow me to meet my financial goals. This was the easiest and fastest refinance I have ever had. That says something because my situation is not that straightforward when it comes to the paperwork. I worked with a young man named Miles Furuichi. He was responsive and on top of things the entire time. Total time from start of application to funding of loan with a great rate? 16 days! All of it, except for the final notarized signing that happened at my home, done on line and over the phone. I’ll update this if anything changes after I start dealing with them as a mortgage company making payments and everything as this is a brand new loan so I haven’t had that experience yet but the refi was easier than I could ever have imagined.

We shopped around looking to refinance our home. Im talking everywhere. We were approved at five different mortgage lenders while looking for the best rate and fit for what we wanted to do. Shopping around started lowering our credit - thats awesome but a whole different story. Tons of work. Totally worth it. Really tried to refinance local but the best we were offered for an interest rate was 2.8 with at 3.0 apr (we were at 3.75). Decided to try one last place and talked to Amerisave - look I was avoiding the big nationwide companies like the plague. Long story short, talked with Marc Mundry at Amerisave and ended up liking what I heard. Pretty easy process really. Ended up at 2.25 with a 2.5 apr and a small cash out. Spent a little on points for a lower mortgage rate but going to save tens of thousands of dollars in the long run. Lowered our monthly payments over $300 and invested the small cash out to start thinking about remodeling the house. I dont write reviews but this one was worth writing.

So overall not bad but not perfect either.
