AMAZING! I’ve searched all over to find someone who could provide a mortgage loan for self employed people like myself. It wasn’t until I found Abo Capital that I was able to buy my dream home! They were very professional and had multiple layers of direct contact. Steve is by far the most knowledgeable mortgage person I’ve ever met. He was able to underwrite my file before moving forward. His executive assistant Jim was extremely helpful in assisting me throughout the process. Amazing team. I will be doing more business with them.

Had a great experience with Steve Abo and Jim Dahdoul at Abo Capital. This was my second mortgage with them, everything went very smoothly. Jim answered any questions right away and was always accessible by phone. Got me a Pre-approval in 15 mins and was able to jump on the home of my choice and place a offer the same day. In this market time is of the essence and I was able to get the offer accepted the next day with, Jim and Steve’s help. Steve was very good at pushing the deal through to the lender and getting everything processed in time for escrow closing. I recommend Abo Capital to all my friends and family and look forward to doing additional deals in the near future. You cannot go wrong picking Abo Capital as your partner in the mortgage process.

Steve Abo Rocks! We wanted to buy a house but were turned down by Chase because of our tax returns. After renting for many years we were determined. Not knowing who to trust, one of our cousins who is a real estate investor with lots of rental properties referred us to Steve Abo. Right from the start, Steve gave us valuable advice on what we needed to do to get a loan. Then, we found our brand new $1,800,000 dream home bult by Shea in Huntington Beach. They required us to put up a non-refundable $30,000 deposit and penalty if we exceeded the escrow time period. We had to use bank statements to qualify and we had fraudulent dings on our credit. First we only qualified for a 25% down loan, but Steve helped us bump that up to only 20%. It was a confusing and nail biting experience requiring exceptions and lots of letters of explanations, but with Steve’s confidence and know how, in the end we triumphed and got the house. If it were not for Steve, I believe that we would have lost our deposit as this was the last home in the community and the seller had lots of all cash offers waiting in the wings.Khalid Ali/Tina Ali

Finally found a place that can help people that are self employed. Jim and steve are both knowledgeable and great to work with.Update may 17 2022I have been working with this company for two years now and they just added a new person to the team (Sean) he is absolutely amazing to work with he responds right away and has answers for you which makes the process sooo much less stressful and so much more enjoyable… yes I said enjoyable usually buying a home is stressful and not fun but since sean is working with me I feel at ease and he answers to me right away! (My favorite part haha since I’m not very patient )Update june 24 2022So I’m all done with them and signed docs. And if you asked me if I would recommend a million times yes!! Kathy steve jim and Sean get stuff done! I can’t believe I even got a loan being self employed but they did it! I am very hard to deal with at times cuz I get stressed easily and they were still patient with me and have me updates as much as they could. They deserve more than 5 stars.
