    Its simple why you should consider Texans Credit Union.- Time travel!Do you remember that first local bank you had? They knew you, your parents, and maybe grandparents. Stepping into a Texans CU branch is like that. If you are like me (plenty of frequent flyer miles), they say Hello, Frank. Welcome back. You will get the same banking advice, security, and information as any big bank. They may say no, but they wont say, Im sorry Mr. Chavez, thats not our policy, and then you know inside they are saying, Next! So far it has never happened with Texans CU.Let everyone take a moment now and pray that a bigger bank never takes over Texans CU as has happened to so many of my previously favorite banks and credit unions.

    Texans Credit Union is simply the best! Arvin was my contact and the person who originated my car loan. He was completely on top of everything and was always in contact with me keeping me informed of the entire process. If I needed something he was extremely responsive. His customer service is absolutely spectacular and he made the transaction so easy. This is the third loan that we have gotten from Texans Credit Union. Always the lowest interest rates and always the BEST service. We will never go anywhere else. Thank you Arvin!!

    I am a member since 1975 with decades of experience of being a Texans credit union member. I accounted scammers and called TCU. They immediately froze our accounts. I went to my local CU where I met Kevia. She took over getting the different monies in all accounts corrected. She eased my mind and was confident in doing her job. Her bubbly personality put me at ease. When it comes to my money the scammers were already in my account so this was a stressful and serious problem. I am so grateful Kevia was able to fix my accounts and protect my money. Thank you for being the smart confident woman you are.

    I have been up there numerous times and the branch manager April is awesome!!! I always go to this Texans credit union off Spring creek and hwy75. April is a very nice, kind, and professional. She will literally go out of her way to help her members and not only does she help but she makes you feel comfortable and like family. She goes above and beyond. Its so hard to find people that are so dedicated to their work now a days that when you find them you have to recognized their hard work and leadership!     Weve been customers for many years now and the one thing that Texans CU offers that most banks dont is that they treat you as a person, not a number. Most recently, weve had the priviledge of working with April at the Spring Creek branch and she (and her team) are some of the most caring individuals that Ive dealt with since becoming members. Weve had several car loans, personal loans, home improvement and equity loans and through every situation, were treated with respect and great care. Not to mention, they have the most competive rates around! They are the absolute best!

    We go to the branch on spring creek in Plano. April, the manager, was extremely caring and helpful for our situation. She is the nicest person I have met at any bank and she goes above and beyond for her customers. This is not only one occasion but every time we meet with her, she is amazing.     I have been recommended to this credit union back in March of this year. Arvin has helped me build my credit. I have gone from no credit to have a credit card with my motorcycle financed with Texans. I have a 724 credit score. Arvin is the person I would highly recommend. Very thankful for him and all of his knowledge.

    Kevia and Fabiola at the Spring Creek branch are super friendly and professional, and make banking with Texans CU a pleasure. Plus, competitive CD and loan rates, in-house credit and debit cards, and reasonable fees along with a full range of other services makes Texans an excellent choice when considering where to bank. Plus, they’re well managed and capitalized, so your money’s safe there. In summary, a top shelf financial institution.

    To prepare for an international trip, I needed cash in clean, crisp bills. The teller carefully went through her cash to get the denominations I needed in great condition. She then noticed I needed a new ATM card and referred me to her colleague who updated my information, created a new ATM card on the spot, and noted my travel plans. They were both friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Ive been banking with Texans for 53 years and am very happy with them.

    I’ve never had a bad experience at this location, but this visit passes perhaps any other visit I’ve made to Texans in 30 years of being a member, when it comes to potentially contentious issues.We had several we needed addressed, including some fees we felt weren’t justified, getting new debit cards, adding and subtracting people on accounts, and closing a couple of accounts. Hashlie listened to everything attentively, patiently, and fairly, and took care of everything with a smile and congenial attitude. It all went as perfectly as we could have hoped. This is the way customer service ought to be.

    I have been up there numerous times and everyone that helps is fantastic! The branch manager April is great. However, I’m posting because I had an issue with a loan through them recently, and while my issue was not resolved how I wanted, Hashlie walked me through the process of understanding why things happened the way they did. She worked with me for 3 or 4 days straight. I am so thankful for her patience with me and her consistent kindness. Keep up the great work Hashlie!!

    Had two fraudulent charges on my ATM card that I would have never known about if not for Texans fraud detection system. Called to confirm what notice said, got the card locked, and went at lunch to get a replacement card in under 15 minutes thanks to LaShawn. Great experience in dealing with a very costing time.     I had a great experience with Texans on April 12, 2021, at the Springcreek Plano location. I had trouble at the ATM and did not realize lobby was open as it was a Saturday. I saw the Asst. Manager unlocking the door to let out a customer, as it was past 5:00pm. I stopped her and explained my ATM experience and she allowed me in to complete my business even though it was after hours. The teller, Clinton Sackett went above and beyond to assist me. This required him to stay past his normal work hours and he did it willingly with a smile. What a wonderful experience. Texans Credit Union is the best and I’m glad to be doing business with them since 1987.

    Updated: I wish I could give you 10 STARS,I had to edit this to add to the fact that when I bought a new car and the Dealership tried to take advantage of me, Wanda and her team stepped up to the plate again and took care of me. THANK YOU VERY MUCHI have nothing but praise for this branch and their manager Wanda, never in the past had a problem with my money, but the day that my check didn’t clear on time (my fault for doing a night deposit) Wanda and her team went out of their way to make sure I have my money right away. Not only that but she advised me and helped with options to refinance my house and clear credit card debt, which so far is one of the smartest decisions I have made in my life. People say that in Credit Unions you are not a customer but a member, that’s very true here. Thank you very much for your help.

    I started with a good experience with setting up my account...s, wasnt thrilled about having to have a savings but sure. Since then its been swing-and-a-miss 6 times. I even had to go to the branch off of Campbell and have a long talk with Steve about what Ive been experiencing. Let me just say that theres some searching for answers already going on.After depositing my paycheck, because the direct deposit was taking effect on the next payday, I found it off that my money was on hold for 2 business days, meaning I deposited it on Friday and couldnt get to it all until Tuesday. Also, less then 10% was available to me for the weekend. Having a mother as a former accountant, she wasnt ok with that and gave me steps to take before going in and finding out what was going on. Needing to pay the bills, I visited the Spring Creek branch to have this resolved.Begin calm, I asked to speak to whomever was in charge. Its Saturday and the manager, Wanda, was in. I was relieved, the reviews praise her and I have to say they are all true. Her staff is nice and she will make sure she explores whatever avenue she can to fix things.She listened to my whole experience, even explained what might have happened in a few cases. Once I showed her my work ID and pay stub she immediately jumped into my account. She made sure my funds were released, we deposited the personal check I had brought, and made sure that I knew to come in if I needed anything at all.She even took my write-up of my negative experiences, attached it to an email, sent the email to her boss asking him to reach out to me. She explained that I shouldnt have experienced anything like I have and wanted to make sure no one else did either.On this day, WANDA prevented me from finding another credit union. I appreciate the chat and the assistance today. Youre staff has been nothing but friendly to me as well, and I look forward to coming in your branch with a smile on my face the next time I need to swing by.

    I rarely go into my banks branch because I hate waiting. It was a Saturday, 20 til 1pm which is when Texans closes and there were 3 people ahead of me waiting go see someone. Bill, guy in the photo, was able to get everyone pointed in the right direction and help me...all by 1pm!! Id like to say Bill is my personal banker since I get him each time I go into that branch but hes everyones banker. Hes awesome. He helped me with my issue then offered a solution to a problem I hadnt thought of before. The people here are all great.

    My friends and family have used TCU for car loans prior so I knew they had good customer service and great rates by word of mouth...but was blown away at how friendly and helpful Hogan was when I called to apply for a car loan. He was patient, helpful and gave me a great rate... SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other banks (yay for credit unions!) And better, of course, than dealership rates.     Ran into a snag with wiring a $16k payoff to my mortgage company. Called Spring Creek branch and tearfully requested the Branch Manager because I could not get my request to go through online. Clinton Sackett answered my plea for help and escalated this to the wire department - had me email him all my documents and quickly got them to the right people in time. It was critical for me to have this happen today and I love how this branch stepped up, reached out, followed through, went above and beyond, and saved the day. Customer for life - right here!

She contacted TCU’s Fraud Dept, flagged the bad checks immediately, closed out the account, opened a new account, reissued my debit card and reissued & delivered new checks.
