Mario came out to quickly help with an emergency repair. I had a pickup truck drive through the living room of my house. Within only a few hours, Mario had all the materials bought and the side of my house boarded up and secure. He even went the extra mile and helped me tarp up the sides to weatherproof it until a more permanent repair could be made.Mario was fantastic, punctual, a great communicator, kind and respectful. Using Ace Handyman Services was a great overall experience. They quoted me the best pricing to have my storage shed built. The price remained the same no matter if the build went over the suggested amount of time. Mario was the professional that I worked with. He was on time and very personable. Ace was able to accommodate me on short notice. From first contact to installation was maybe 4 days. Mario and Joel were my installation team for replacing a sliding patio door. Mario called me the night before to confirm our appointment and they were here 10 minutes early. Got right to work and finished an hour and a half earlier that the estimated time. I was kept updated through the process and they were both personable and professional. No complaints on quality of work. The only caveat is at the office level. When i was booking the appointment, I was told there was a special for 100 dollars an hour labor. Well thats PER person. So what I thought would be a 3-400 dollar job cost twice that. This was never disclosed to me and it felt a little dishonest. Thats not the workers fault, they showed up and did a great job. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars

We hired Ace to do miscellaneous repairs to get a Pflugerville home ready for new renters. After leaving a message with the answering service, Yolanda called me back promptly and asked me to text photos of what was needed to Matt and her. Matt contacted me that afternoon and by the next morning we had an estimate and a scheduled date to start. A few days later I got a notification the morning of that Mario was on his way. Mario actually texted me to ask if he could start early! I met him at the house and walked him through what was needed. He made a few suggestions and then was on his way. He texted me progress photos and before/afters and reached out with any questions. We ended up asking him to come back for another two half days. Everything was done to the highest quality and with the best attitude! Mario was a hard worker - Super Mario! As small business owners ourselves, we appreciate this level of professionalism top to bottom. We were charged fairly for time and materials. We wont hesitate to use Ace again and will likely request Mario. You should feel confident having Ace at your property!

After a year of trying to get someone to do any work. And paying people who did incomplete work. I had to go out of the area. Even with paying additional money because of the travel distance they were less expensive. Carlos was fantastic. Showed up when scheduled and completed the work as we requested. He was quick and efficient and done everything even cleaning up everything. The people before just left everything for us to clean up. They don’t taken payment until job is completed and you are satisfied. Also bonded insured and a year warranty on their work done

When my solar panels were being installed, one of the installers accidently punched a hole of 2 ft circumference in my ceiling, from the attic. Mario came out this morning & did the repair. He did a wonderful job! You cannot tell where it happened. He matched up everything, including the paint, perfectly. He was on time for his appointment & I received an introductory text prior to his arrival. He worked neatly & diligently to complete the job in a timely manner. AMAZING OFFICE MANAGER! I wanted to give a 5 star review to their office manager, Lauren. We have a leak that has essentially ruined all our flooring and although they were not able to fix the leak she was able to refer me right over to a plumber who is able to help. She so kind, informative, thorough and helpful. She comforted me during our call and we chit chatted and I laughed for the first time in a while and it was very nice she just so lovely and pleasant. Not only did she get me over to a plumber to help she also was able to recommend a flooring company for us to reach out to regarding replacing all of our flooring and carpet. I will be calling them and scheduling work in the future and will refer them to all of our friends, neighbors and colleagues.

I have used Ace Handyman a couple times, and Ive been lucky enough to get Mario each time. Hes been punctual, professional, and is a master at his craft. He has never tried to sell me something I dont need. He doesnt drag his feet so he can pad the bill. Hes done a little everything for me from fence work to light electrical and plumbing. Hes very good at what he does, but hes not afraid to say something is beyond what he feels comfortable doing. I appreciate that because I know I found a reliable, honest handyman that I can trust.

We needed a Trench dug and job was completed ahead of time. Technician arrived little late. The Trencher needed to be rented instead of using one they had at their south location and charge me for the higher rate as well as the time to get the trencher from Home Depot. They charge on an hourly rate and prorate if the job is completed early. the Job was quoted as a 3 hour job which took 2 hours to complete and was not charged the prorated amount instead they added the time at Home Depot and travel time (not part of the initial quote) to equal the 3 hour time. the trench was dug with some hiccups but all in all ok job. Technician was very polite and respectful but a little inexperienced. Would I use them again? Yes.

Where most companies took almost a week just to send someone over for the estimate, Ace was able to get the entire job done in a week. The overall result was very satisfactory. There was one small hiccup due to miscommunication, but nothing to write home about. The cost was 2-3x lower than expected, so we were very happy we went with Ace.
