He was nice and explained everything. There was a question about the price for today. He honored the price the office told me.I guess I misunderstood exactly what a clean out is. I thought your company would run a snake to do a clean out. I was told that would be $270.00.So a little frustrated with that.Cost me $89.00 to have a guy pull hair out of my bath tub drain!So again your tech was great, but not happy with the overall situation.

Same day response when our heat pump stopped. Kellen M. was very courteous and knowledgeable, quickly got our A/C back up, cleaned it, and recommended an add-on part that improves power efficiency and reduces strain on other system components. He also inspected our water heater and the air handler, and identified some improvements for those as well. Ill have those done when he returns to service my home generator! Its nice to know a tech and company where professionalism and competance are still an important part of their service!

I called yesterday to request an inspection and a quote on replacement and talked with Autumn. She set an appointment for the next day! With temperatures reaching 100, I had expected to wait a few days or into next week.As promised I got a text message this morning that Danny was on his way and he arrived early in the time frame promised.Danny discussed options and listened to our ideas and plans for our place. We received a text from the technician stating he was 20 minutes out. The technician pulled into the driveway, introduced himself and slipped on some booties over his boots. Came inside asked us what our issues were and how he could help.The technician went in the attic for the air handler and then outside. The technician called me out to explain to me what he thinks was happening with my unit. I don’t know anything about air conditioning units except when it doesn’t work it sucks. He was able to solve our issues. I would definitely Recommend Mark D.

Mike arrived on time and was really attentive to the concerns I had regarding my system. He was able to complete my tune up and even make some suggestions to improve my ac performance further. He was very good at explaining why his recommendations would help and informed me that Comfort Experts offers the service. Its very helpful knowing not only my upgrade paths, but also a company that can make them happen. One thing I didnt know was how old my equipment was and he told me when it was put in and how long it is estimated to last. I also learned of the benefits to blown in insulation. Just as an added bonus, before he showed up I was sent a picture of him so I could know that the person on my doorstep was supposed to be there. I will definitely be recommending Mike and Comfort Experts to friends and family and will be calling upon them when I am ready to upgrade or repair my system.

Their office staff (Shay, I think? :) who I’ve worked with on repairs and replacements with multiple homes - is terrific. Friendly, helpful and kind. Three things you need to know about this company: 1) they will never push you on a sales pitch. They talk in clear numbers and no hidden surprises. 2) They are SKILLED. I’ve had units we NEEDED to keep running and they surpassed our expectations… and I’ve had new additions and features added and they were VERY knowledgeable. They know their stuff, require lots of trainings for their employees and it is clear bc they always have a thorough response when I have questions. Finally, 3) I like them. They are super friendly, honest, and I never feel nervous in my home whether it’s a new person or one I’m familiar with. They always call ahead, send text reminders, including a picture of the technician who is on their way, so there are no surprises as to who is coming to your home.Colby was so knowledgeable and went over every detail - and I learned a lot. We are in the middle of a huge remodel, so I appreciate that my time isn’t wasted. Plus, my unit is shiny, (he literally waxed my outside unit during cleaning in my tune up :) and my confidence for my unit’s performance in the winter months is high. I have used another HVAC company for over 13 years. I had an issue with my air conditioning not cooling. I called and they were able to come out the next day. However I was not available so I had to schedule it for the day after. Kellum came out and looked over my entire system and told me everything that was wrong with it. He also showed me that my emergency drain pan had actually also started to rust out. So I would not have known that had he not shown that to me. The tech, Casey was awesome and knew his stuff. He is very friendly, polite and down to earth. He arrived around 7p( most techs are only available until 5p with other A/C services) and after diagnosing the problem, worked until the repair was complete( at 11PM!) and he was confident it was successful. He wanted to be sure he cleaned up and put everything back in its place. You could feel that he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in his work. But what really impressed me was after all was said and done, he just wanted to say goodnight to the owner ( she is an elderly client of mine with Alzheimers)- tell her it was nice meeting her and thanked us for using Comfort Experts. As a caregiver by profession, it means a lot to see true compassion for others.

He was able to do a temporary repair so we could at least have cooling while waiting. I selected Comfort Experts Inc (aka Hobson HVAC) via Google reviews and I could not be happier. I was looking for a yearly tune-up/inspection on my two heat pump units. Hobson quoted me a summer special price that was at least 50-70% lower than anyone else I called. Kellen M. arrived on time per the scheduled appt. In todays world, its rare to find such a thorough, courteous, polite and respectful serviceman. Kellen worked for 3 hours in the Texas heat with a smile on his face and cheer in his heart. He went over every inch of both heat pumps and the air handlers, notifying me of what he was doing, why he was doing it and describing in detail what was good with my system and what needed to be addressed. When he found a defective capacitor on one of my units, he advised me of my options to have it replaced. Turned out the $500 part was under warranty and they were an authorized dealer for my unit, so it was essentially replaced for free! When Kellen finished, he emailed me a complete report with photos and a detailed invoice (so that I could receive the United Co-Op rebate for this service). Before he left, Kellen handed me a club membership application that Hobson offers but there was no pressure or hype whatsoever. He just handed me the form and briefly explained how it works. Overall, this was by far the best service Ive ever received for anything at my house. Cant recommend Hobson and especially Kellen enough. Thank you!

I’m happy with the results. The technicians were polite and friendly, and worked around problems that came up, in particular hose length. A couple of suggestions that would make customers happy:1. When delays keep technicians over an hour past the appointment time and after text notification to the customer that they’re on the way, it would be nice to tell the customer before they call to find out on their own.2. Insulation is inherently messy, so cleanup afterward is an issue. Buy vacuum cleaners for installation crews so they don’t have to get the customer’s equipment.3. Most service professionals I’ve dealt with have some kind of cover for footwear while they’re in the house. Adding that shows concern for the customer’s home.I’m pleased with the overall experience, although it could have been better. Thanks for this opportunity.

It is very reassuring to have technicians checking your AC equipment several times a year and fixing components before they completely fail. Last year they replaced all the attic ducting which was very old and leaking. In the process of assessing the house air-flow they found that I needed one more exhaust vent. Comfort Specialists/AC Genius/Comfort Experts Inc, Kyle, showed up within 3 hours after I called, and the whole time I was waiting, the dispatcher gave me regular updates on when hed arrive. They were very nice. Kyle got right to it and tested and replaced a couple capacitors in the attic air handlers, that were running low on charge and one outside as well as the fan, which was the problem. Im hoping the fixes last a good while. Kyle was very polite, professional, and wore shoe covers when he came in the house, I was very appreciative of that. The only reason why I dont give them 5 stars is; their prices were very steep, about twice as much as my/your most expensive guess. I wouldve given them 3 stars for that alone, but just the fact that they are courteous, confidence-inspiring and fast responders in a place like Texas, is an asset these days.

Chad was able to assess the system quickly, ID the potential problem and fix the issue. He stayed as late as was needed to get the job done right. He also presented all services they offer and was not pushy about them which is why I purchased a service plan. Would recommend him to anyone who needs service.
