My husband and I had a dream to become owner-builders, but because of its a unique model, we never thought itd become a reality. We spoke to several general contractors for our home construction, and none of them were willing to budge on their existing business model to help us save money. We didnt know it at the time, but when we met Jacob at UBuildIt, our dreams were closer to a reality.By becoming owner builders, we cut out the middleman and we took full control of our home build. In the early stages, Jacob helped us gather quotes to submit to the bank. I will admit, I was a little bit skeptical during this period. However, as we closed and started to build, everything became tangible and all of the legwork we did with UBuildIt started unfolding exactly as planned!We have been building for almost a year and have saved a substantial amount of money with this unique business model. We were able to put in a lot of sweat equity that wouldnt have been possible with any other general contractors. In addition to that, the quality of our build is exactly the standard we want.
