TCCH built a beautiful house and guesthouse for us, collaborating closely with us to guide us through the construction process. Initially, we had multiple design sessions with the team to develop the house plans, incorporating our desired features. TCCH doesnt levy a charge to draw the architectural plans. Subsequently, we met frequently with the team to make the myriad selections required, from major items like stonework, roofing, electrical and plumbing, to minor details like cabinet hardware, light switches, etc. The team used their knowledge and experience to guide us in this process: since we never had a custom house built, we werent aware of all the requirements. They referred us to specific suppliers for selections. We appreciated they didnt just accept the original price quoted, but checked other suppliers to seek a better price for the same selection. For instance, they saved us several thousands on some things (for example, countertops, garage doors, and floor tile).Of course, some snags occurred throughout the construction process, like subcontractor availability and responsiveness, supply backorders, etc. Sometimes, we had questions about the process, quality of work, or simply changed our minds and wanted something changed. We were living next door to the build, so we watched everything! We had no hesitation about calling the construction supervisor, TCCH team members, and/or the subcontractors directly. I can attest TCCH patiently dealt with our issues and worked to resolve them to our satisfaction.We highly recommend Linda, Bill and the rest of the team at TCCH if you want a quality custom home built and an experienced, knowledgeable team willing to work closely with you!

Great working with Don and Linda on the design and construction of our home. While snags happened along the way (and what home build doesnt) the way issues were handled was what made this a fun and gratifying experience. I would without a doubt use Texas Classic again and would recommend for my family and friends.

All I will say is, get past performance on the quality of their work, because my experience with them shows it is not a part of their business plan. The subs work is not checked and the customer is made to believe they are asking too much. Make sure your agreement is detailed in writing and then validate once work is complete. Good thing is they will correct poor workmanship if you bring it to their attention but in my opinion , the customer should not be the quality inspector.

Texas Classic Custom Homes built our new home after the Bastrop Fires in 2011 and what a great home it is! I highly recommend them and cant wait to retire and have my retirement cabin built by them as well! Thank you TCCH!
