My wife and I spent a lot of time looking at custom home builders when planning to build our forever home. We drove to many builder’s model homes and ask a lot of friends for recommendations. We saw the quality in the John Askew model homes that we were looking for and had recommendations from their homeowners.The building process went very well. Even though we planned for what we thought was everything our designer Paige came up with various ideas along the way that added that special touch. Our site manager Albert made sure all the pieces came together. We have been living in the new home for six months and the different departments follow up to make sure all systems are working well. We were very pleased with the outcome. We would highly recommend using the John Askew company for your custom home build.

I always heard that building a new home can be stressful. The Askews made the building experience of our home very enjoyable. They worked with us every step of the way to build the house exactly the way we wanted it. They are a quality home builder and were very responsive to our requests. We were very pleased with the whole experience of using Askew to build our retirement home.As an engineer it worked very well. We had a base price and an Askew representative went with us as we designed the home. If I had a questions as to what was included or about how much it would be extra there was a quick answer as we made the decisions. I was surprised how much was included in the base price.Our project manager James was great. He pointed out a couple of places where the layout could be improved which helped us make some different decisions which we appreciated. Of course, there were issues but working through them we felt he was responsive.

We built our home in 2017 with The John Askew Company and have been thrilled with our choice. They guided us thru the entire build and the finished product is beautiful. John Askew Custom Homes worked with us from the onset of designing our 1st customer home. It all started by John himself hand holding us thru the home design process with a 3rd party home designer that they work with all the way thru the complete build process which in all took right at a year which is actually quite quick for a custom home.We went with John Askew because of theIr reputation of building quality homes and that they did for us as well. Of course as expected with any new home build there were occasional small issues that came up during and after the build, but just. knowing the John Askew team was always there to promptly address and correct each issue to our liking was always comforting to us.So here we are 7 years after the completion of our home at 7R Ranch and we still love our house today as much as the day if was completed in 2013.Thank you John Askew Custom Homes.Sincerely,Mark Peterson

We interviewed many builders in the Aledo and Fort Worth area before choosing John Askew. The home was our first build and what we believed to be our last. We had heard that any new home build was stressful, wrought with over-spending and decision difficulties. Our experience with John, Linda and their WONDERFUL team was the opposite. They are passionate about excellence, creative in cost savings, prompt to deal with any challenges, have talented tradesmen and building supervisors, provide an unmatched warranty program and made the entire process actually fun!!! Our home is everything we had dreamed of and perfect for our family. Recently we have started imagining another new home because of the experience that we had. John Askew will have our business for life.

We were searching for a builder and had no idea where to look. Luckily we saw a billboard for John Askew Homes. Looking back, I truly believe it was a sign from God. We love everything about this company. The people are knowledgeable, professional, kind, courteous, and patient. (We weren’t the easiest clients, lots of changes). But our home!! It is so beautiful! It was built per our requests, and on time. We couldn’t be happier. We HIGHLY recommend this company.

Working with the John Askew team was incredible.. Albert and Paige were fantastic as project manager and designer. Paige helped me through the entire process. She was organized and always kept me knowing what was next in the process- pick lighting, choose flooring, tiles, countertops, etc. When I was indecisive, she was great at guiding me and helping me. I had no selection regrets! We love our home.
