    I am thrilled to share my experience with Drees custom homes in McKinney. I have recently found my dream home in one of these incredible houses, and I cannot express how happy I am with my decision. The architecture of these homes is nothing short of amazing, and I absolutely love the three-story concept. It is such a unique and innovative design, and it really sets these homes apart from the rest.From the very beginning, Shannon was an absolute gem to work with. She was so easy to talk to and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I am so thankful for her and all of her help in finding my perfect home. We had been searching for a long time to find something that had just the right amount of space and style, and it was a real challenge. But with Shannons help, we were able to find the perfect home that had everything we wanted and more.The inside of the home is just as stunning as the outside, and I absolutely love the contemporary style of the homes. Whats more, I really appreciate how each home has its own unique character and is not simply a copy-paste design. It really shows that Drees is committed to creating homes that are truly special and catered to each individual homeowners needs.The design process has been going great, and I have to give a shout-out to Whitney, Shannons assistant. She was incredibly nice and helpful, and I have nothing but positive things to say about her.Overall, I am beyond excited to live in one of these new homes from Drees custom homes in McKinney. I cannot wait to see the finished product and start creating memories in my dream home.     My wife, Nehaarika, and I recently had the pleasure of working with Drees Custom Homes, and we had a great experience. Mark was super helpful, attentive, and pretty funny to boot. He made the whole process easy and stress-free, keeping us in the loop every step of the way.At this point, we’re so excited to be at the stage where we’re ready to sign a contract given the right price. Mark has made the whole process easy and stress-free, and we look forward to moving this process through to final stages with him!     Drees has been such a pleasure to work with for my clients new construction home! My client signed in December for 2021 and they have been in constant communication with all progress being made including permitting with the city! This has even been from the moment we had our first informative builder meeting, before signing a contract. My client has built multiple homes ground up with other builders and this experience has been leaps and bounds above those!Shannon, their builder representative, is knowledgeable and invested in seeing her clients happy with the product they are receiving. She truly believes in the quality of the product being built and has been wonderful orchestrating a smooth hand off between a construction manager change. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients get exactly what they want, even as small as the builder moving a fence up 6 feet. There has been extreme respect and professionalism from day 1, making my client comfortable and impressed about the entire process!

    (Update) I would like to take the time to say thank you for addressing and taking my concern seriously. I had to revisit for a potential client of mine and the experience with Missy was fantastic.I would like to take the time to inform you of my encounter with Shannon at the Drees model home located in Craig Ranch. I would like to start by saying I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome at any other builders model home like the way I did yesterday. I am a local Real estate agent, Navy veteran, Dallas Fire Fighter, and work in cybersecurity but that is beside the point. I just wanted to point it out Drees Homes market manager judges a book by its cover again. I served my country and community with my head held high and just because I am not wearing my suit and tie, I deserve to be discriminated against?August 22, 2023, my girlfriend and I were headed to the gym but wanted to stop by the model home since I live close by. We are currently in the market to possibly build. We are trying to decide on a good location and weigh the pros and cons. Upon walking in we were glancing over the inventory sheet when Shannon walks to us and asked What do we need in a very rude manner. I informed her wanted to see your model home. She looked very confused and asked What do you need again as if she was bothered we were in her presence. I informed her I currently leased out my house and I am in the market to purchase another, my son goes to Comstock Elementry down the street. She informed me well thats not the district for this community. I find that interesting because the website state both Allen and Frisco ISD with Comstock Elementary being the next school. I even asked her if the community was not split between both districts and she told me they arent with such a horrible attitude.I had to take a second to gather myself as I could tell she was very frustrated with us being there. I asked if we were able to tour the property and I was told This community is by appointment only. I told her well normally there is a sign on the door or on the website that informs customers of this. I was then told, Well our lower-end models might not be by appointment but we are. My girlfriend and I proceeded to leave as it was clear she did not want us in her community.Both of us were very bothered by this interaction and I re-entered to get the district managers email. She was confused as to why I was asking for it and I informed her I just had an unpleasant experience with her. She then tells me Well people do not just walk in here, especially realtors without their cards. I normally have my cards on me but I only had my gym attire as I was not planning to make a stop here.I just happen to go on Google and noticed this is not the first incident like this. I am very big on customer service. I wish I could say it was just a lack of customer service but it felt more than that. I felt we were being profiled and discriminated against either by our race or by what we were wearing (gym clothes). This is unacceptable.Also for future reference, if it is appointment only put a sign up. She told me they do not do that. Ive been to plenty of other builders with the same price points and have been welcomed in with a warm greeting. I even went to surrounding builders in the same attire and did not get treated in this manner. Please address this issue as no one should be treated like this.I sent this email to the district manager and CC’d her. She had the audacity to say “ Thanks for the email….hope you have a great day Take care.”. With no acknowledgment to the email or care whatsoever. I do not feel this individual has any care for how they represent the company. I feel that no one holds her accountable and that she will continue to treat potential customers this way.Long story short if you plan to go to this specific location be prepared. This is not a a review for the entire company but rather this location. I’ve had great experiences at other communities.
