I’m a realtor so I’ve worked with several different credit repair companies and individuals. Joe Camacho at The Phenix Group is the ONLY person I refer my clients to now for any credit help. My wife and I started our journey of becoming homeowners about a year ago but we got our loan denying as we did not qualify. We needed to fix our credit so we began working with Thomas Torello at the Phenix Group. Our home buying process started about 3 years ago. We applied with a mortgage broker, and we got approved for $100,000. We were a little bit depressed and did not understand why we did not qualify for more. About a year went by and we started looking for a mortgage broker near us and we found one. Our mortgage broker looked at my credit and knew it need work. I tried for a few months to work on raising my credit by myself without help. I was able to make some small improvements. My mortgage broker passed Joe Camacho name to me and said give him a call. I waited a few months before I called Joe. On the first call Joe ask some questions and setup a follow up call to brief the plan that he came up with. In May of 2021 Joe briefed the plan he laid out as well as the ground rules and a step-by-step guide from start to finish. What Joe told me that night sound to good to be true. I was a little bit apprehensive at first, but I trust our mortgage broker and told Joe lets get me ready to by a home. During the process Joe fixed some mistake that I created earlier trying to fix my credit by myself. On credit karma my score was in the 585 range when we started and currently with Joes help it is now 758. Joe puts his heart in soul into his work and fights hard to repair your credit. He is very professional and super knowledgeable. With Joes help I was able to get approved for a $500,000 home loan. Also have we closed on the house I was able to purchase a new vehicle and Joe helped me with getting a credit card. My only regret is I wish I would have called Joe sooner. I highly recommend Joe Camacho for your credit repair needs.

I was introduced to Joe and the Phenix group during a very vulnerable time in my life when I had goals but needed help to get there. We had our reservations about working with any company at all with all of the scams out there but he pulled through with everything he said he would do. I have been working with Thomas Torello for over six months and its been such an amazing experience. I was referred to him by our amazing realtor. Thank God she did tell us about him Because we got our dream home that I could never imagined being ours. Even to this day after a few months of living in this house it still feels surreal. When my husband and I were searching for our first home, we were told I needed to raise my credit score to ensure we were able to get approved to purchase our dream home. I was unsure of what I needed to do to raise it, so we reached out to Joe with the Phoenix Group in March of 2020. Joe reviewed my credit and explained to us what actions I needed to take to raise my score. He was very helpful during the process and was always willing and ready to answer any questions we had. There was a time where I did something that could negatively affect my credit score. Joe reached out to me as soon as he saw it and I was able to resolve it.In January 2021, we were able to place a deposit down on our first home. We would have about 6 more months to get my credit where it needed to be. Through that time, Joe and his assistant, April, were in constant communication with us. I started my journey of buying a house 2 yrs before I was told about Joe and the Phenix Group. I was told by my Realtor that he had a guy to get me approved so we found a house got under contract and then told it’s wasn’t gonna happen. Our hearts were broken, but our realtor said no worries my guy gots you I paid so much money and nothing happened. Then I was referred to another company and spent more money and was told go find a house. So we did fell in love watched it be built and did the 1st walk and then at 2nd walk I was told you don’t qualify. So here we were again hearts broken and no house. The last time I worked with my realtor we did the same process this time we qualified after a few months of the builder waiting on me to get where I needed to be a 580. Then something popped up on my credit the lady at the bank said pay 700 to this guy and you’ll be In your house so paid the money and then they repulled my credit I was now at a 500 no hopes to close. Again heart broken. My fiancé cousin said call Joe he can get it done! Here I was heart broken and with even less money then what I started with. I’ve heard it all before so I was very on the fence to hear about Joe and what he thought he could do for me and my credit, so I called him and was like ok what do you got? What I can say is it was very different I was shocked, for every single minute I was on the phone he took his time with me helped me understand what it was hurting me and why. So I entered his program so about 2 months in we had Things deleted. Bombshell I needed to buy a house sooner than I expected! I put Joe on notice and was like here we go again on this roller coaster! They called me and said Congratulations you qualify!!! Let me tell you in my journey I never heard that in my 1st try! I just Google credit repair near me and this company had come up. I called and spoke with Tom Torello and explained my desperate situation. He was professional, thorough and KIND. I was desperate because I had qualified for a home loan a year ago FHA. We were going to buy the house we have been renting for 9 years. The house needed to be brought up to FHA standards and the land lord took this long to do the work to it. When I re-applied I no longer qualified due to high rates and a couple of things hit my credit. We had also invested our down payment in the house(I know, shouldnt have) but we did so to get it over with. Anyway, I sent Tom my credit reports and he reviewed them and called me with a plan. However, I could not afford it. He understood, wasnt that annoying pushy sales person. He left me with some free advise and I truly appreciate that because he didnt have to. In just as little as 5 months Mr. Brian has completely changed me and my families life forever! It all started when we applied for a mortgage and fell way short of a pre-approval. To say I was a little bit Leary was an understatement. I was introduced to Joe Camacho through my friend, who is also a real estate agent. I had an interview/meeting with Joe over the phone and he gave me a long list of notes about what my role would be to fix my credit score, which was at the time, in the 500s. Let me tell you, the amount of things Joe told me I had to do in order to facilitate the process sounded like a lot. The price of his services was also on the expensive side but I quickly understood that Joe isnt some guy working out of his apartment fixing credit on the side. Hes a true professional working out of an office with an assistant. Joe helped me reconsolidate my student loans and got ALL of my negative payment history deleted. Within 6 months my credit score has risen to a 735+ and its only getting higher now. It turns out the amount of work I had to put in was minimal and the results I obtained were excellent. I did a lot of research before giving the The Phenix Group a call. In February 2020. I was connected with Brian Q. He was very professional and he let me know what to expect up front. I have really good credit but, I had a collection I needed removed so I called The Phenix Group. Brian told me he could not give me a time frame because it depends on how the response goes from outside sources. Long story short, I did get a little worried because I only had 1 thing I wanted removed and it was taking almost a whole year. Brian was great with communicating. With all the changes because of the Pandemic they still worked with me free of charge after the terms of the contract was up. This is the best decision I have ever made financially. They did everything by the book and kept a great paper trail. I also did my part by calling or sending an email every month just to see if there was any updates. Almost a year in, the collection is finally off my account and my credit is even better than it was before the collection was put on there.

My husband and I were try to buy our 1st house in May 2019. We dealt with the usual mortgage lender that help people get a home with bad credit. Well that was far from the truth. So we started researching credit repair companies, and I know from using a consolidated credit company in my younger days, that they don’t work. I found Joe Camacho from a yelp review. My husband and I both talked with Joe for over 2 hours about, what he can do for us, a timeline of how long it will take, and things he needed us to do to be successful with him. We got started right away with Joe. The first thing was to send Joe everything the creditors sent to us, we did that faithfully. Joe said the creditors will use stall tactics to keep reporting the debt, they did this. But Joe and his team stayed on top of the creditors and ended up getting a lot of the old debt deleted. At one of the credit bureaus my husband has no bad debt, just positive accounts. Which shot his credit score up to a 742. The only thing is I wish the (batch date) was made an importance at the very beginning. But once Joe explained the (Batch Date) we got on the phone with all ours current creditors and found out when they report to the bureaus, aka the (Batch Date). We will be forever grateful to Joe Camacho, exactly 1 year from when we originally spoke with Joe we signed the papers for our 1st house May 2020. I know we all have reservations if a credit repair service will really do as they say or just take you money. Joe Camacho is the Real Deal. He is always professional even when you are frustrated with the process (my husband). I would not have the ability to identify as a HOMEOWNER today if not for Joe and his teams efforts on my behalf. He was sooooo straight forward from the beginning to how his proven methods would work and what would be required from me.My history wasn’t pretty but he passes no judgement! He was very clear on what we would address to help me to get to where I needed to be, which was a minimum of 620 FICO by the time my new home was built. I also was seeking it to qualify for down payment assistance. Needless to say stressful. He checked in with me regularly and was a call away through the entire process. I met Joe through a homeownership tour. He spoke about the importance of having good credit to purchase a home. I have tried several credit repair companies in the past but none of them compare to The Phenix Group! I decided to call Joe in Jan 2020 to see if he would be able to help me get the credit score needed to purchase a home. I gave him what i thought to be an impossible task. My situation was that my lease was going to be up in April so I needed my credit repaired in a short amount of time because I had to move out of my apt. When he told me that he would be able to do it, in my head i was like no way he could do this in 4 months.When I had the consultation, it blew my mind! He was so thorough in explaining how this process was going to work that I had to take notes lol! He made sure I understood what my role would be in all of this and he made sure I understood what he and his team were going to do too.Everything he told me in that consultation happened and in March 2020, he called me and told me I could put my 30 day notice in to my landlord and that my score was good enough to obtain a mortgage. I couldnt believe he brought my score up high enough in only 2 MONTHS!! I was so happy hearing that and it honestly brought me to tears because I never thought that I would be able to actually buy a home.On May 22nd I closed on my first home! If you think there is no hope for your credit, you are WRONG.When I turned 30 (in Dec), I came face to face with the reality of how much I neglected my credit in my younger years. Everyone around me is buying houses, getting nice cars, buying nice things - and there I was feeling hopeless and trying to come to terms with how careless I was and feeling like Ill never get the same opportunities as others because of my mistakes. I got denial after denial. Then I started trying to figure out a way to just start paying everyone off - that has to help my score right? Then, hopefully one day, I too could have nice thingsOne day I was scrolling my phone and I came across an ad for a credit repair program. We can help - dont let bad credit keep you from blah blah blah. I clicked it. Within seconds, I remembered why I never click those things. For the hell of it, I started reading reviews, trying to figure out if anyone has ever truly had a good experience with these people. Nope, just as I had assumed, REAL people had nothing positive to say. They just take your money, my score never changed. Its just a money pit, based on empty promises. About 2 pages into the reviews, some random dude posted about his experience with The Phenix Group. No one else was talking about this place. I looked up reviews for TPG and there was not a LOT, however, the ones that were there were GOOD ones. Nothing negative! So, I sent my info.
