    They are the real deal! I was struggling with the interest on a couple of credit cards and felt like I was getting nowhere for a long time. Got referred to MMI, and at the end of the first phone call, I felt like I was truly in good hands. They gave me control back over my life and finances. I could actually see the progress I was making, which was such a great feeling. Every single staff member I talked to was very helpful, kind, patient and encouraging throughout the entire process. My agent/counselor checked in on me periodically, and I appreciated that personal touch. It made me feel like I wasnt just a case number to them.     Money management international is a life saver. They helped me when I was in a financial crisis by negotiating with my creditors and got me a very low fixed interest rates to be able to pay my credit debts in five years. And when I got better financially, I was able to payoff my debts a year and half earlier. Before I found them I was giving up on my credit history and concerned about ruining it by filing a bankruptcy; and luckily I worked with them and even improved my credit by making on time payments on my behalf. I’m so grateful to MMI, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who is struggling with any debt payments.

    It was a real good experience working with Money Management International. They helped my to get the interest rate reduced on the account I needed help with. They arranged for a payment plan that was for five years. It worked out wonderfully and the account is now paid in full. I would not only recommend them to others which I have done but if I happened to get in that situation again (I sure hope not) I would not hesitate to use them again myself.

    A desperate relocation to Boston put me in a seriously difficult financial position. I had maxed my cards and was looking at being absorbed by interest and late fees, until I found MMI, where my entire financial health and future was rescued by this wonderful organization that has me one hundred percent debt free. The staff is amazing. The programs they offer are very helpful. The way my contracts with my creditors were negotiated to single digits was an all-out miracle! Finally, I caught the landslide in time to save my credit score that only increased the entire time!The one caveat I have is the closing of all accounts, which destroyed my credit score due to losing my entire, exceptional, credit history. I wish someone would have prepared me for this and we could have made an alternate plan.Other than that, I can breathe again, which is a gift! I highly recommend Money Management International.     Over the past 3 years I have worked with MMI to pay of almost $25,000!! Im now credit card free!! MMI is awesome, always working behind the scenes on your behalf with your creditors to reduce your payments and interest rates. I trusted them to take the money out of my account each month and pay my creditors, I had to keep up with the totals. Its hard work and you have to commit to it, but if you stick to the plan, you CAN pay off your debt and MMI does most of the work. I highly recommend them!!

    I have used MMI on 2 separate occasions now and both times were great experiences. Unfortunately thanks to divorce and being a single mom of 4 I got into credit card debt with payments I couldn’t make and no way to ever be in a financial position to pay off. It was overwhelming. MMI was able to work with my credit card companies and come up with a plan making a a single monthly payment and i was debt free in 4 years!     This was a life changing experience. I paid off a 5 digit debt in 5 years. In the 5 years prior to reaching out for help all I could manage were mimum credit card payments. My counselor made clear how the program works and how I could make possible clearing my date. Every month I got a statement showing the percentage paid off and how much was left. It was like getting a gold star for each payment made. The counselors, digital resources and debt management tools MMI makes you feel like you can succeed and change your life.     I was on the verge of bankruptcy but one of my credit card companies referred me to MMI first. I was able to pay off $50k in consumer debt in 4 years, finishing up my Debt Management Plan 12 months ahead of schedule. My credit score never went down and is now over 800. It took work and sacrifice but the feeling of accomplishment is amazing.To top it all off, MMI saved me $1000’s in credit card interest over the course of 4 years. By negotiating lower interest rates (one of my cards went from 29% to 0%) was what allowed me to start making a dent in my debt and start saving money.I can’t recommend MMI enough and I hope more people learn about them and their services before they sign up for a predatory credit consolidation plan or file for bankruptcy.

    I was in deep credit card debt and about to file for bankruptcy when I was lucky enough to find Money Management International. I called while driving and the man I talk to explained that bankruptcy ruins everything for you for years if not a lifetime. He explained that by paying off the credit cards over a period of 3 years and paying greatly reduced interest, that the new credit card offers would start coming in and my score would eventually go up. Its a long journey but so worth it, and I say this from the bottom of my heart, I couldnt have done it without the guidance of MMI !     I cannot say enough about MMI. The credit counselors on the phone are all incredibly kind and empathetic. I wasnt expecting such gentleness. They helped me pay off $28k of debt in five years with their plan. I am 36 years old now, but I would have still making payments in my 40s if I wouldnt have gone with a program like this. They were flexible with my ever-fluctuating income (my career is gig-based). Ive saved several thousand dollars in interest. Its amazing.     I was very in debt with one credit card after my husband lost his job (near 18k), I contacted this company with caution (because I was afraid of being taken advantage of) - BUT I have to say I was more than pleased. MMI managed to get my interest rate lowered by more than 1/2 (11%) and they took over payments by having me pay them directly one negotiated amount ($451) each month.     I am so grateful, along with my family, that I found Pat Shelby when I called the HUD Hope line. I got her right away and she educated me on everything I needed to know. She was helpful, optimistic, and so deeply compassionate. She told me all of the possible options for our situation and she followed through by calling me throughout the day and gave me so many positive ideas and actions to take. When we called the bank together, a thoughtful action for her to take when she was already off work by the way, we received the best news possible. She was in full control of that conversation with the bank and handled it so smoothly. Then we were still being education by Pat on what the decision was and how things were handled.My hope is that people out there in tough spots like ours find the compassionate ones at HUD and realize that they truly are there to help and educate. As a homeowner, there are so many things you do not know when it comes to your mortgage and the steps to take when youre in a dire financial situation. I called MMI and, in no time at all, they set me up with a repayment plan for all my cards that was affordable.     The DMP changed my life. I was in what seemed like an endless cycle, paying monthly and with the high interest rates, my balances weren’t moving in a meaningful way.     I had gotten deep in credit card debt and debated filing bankruptcy. But my bank suggested I check into MMI. It was very easy to enroll. The monthly payment was a stretch for me, but it helped me look at my finances and eliminate or pare down certain expenses. There were times it was very discouraging but I was determined to see this to the end. And after what seemed forever, my balance got down to where I had only two more payments, then one, then none!Had no issues with MMI getting into the program, during the program, or getting a refund quickly for an overpayment on the last transaction.It feels great to be out of debt, and I can now use the amount of that monthly payment for a few luxuries: meeting friends for lunch, books, a few items for the house. The representative I spoke with initially (dont remember his name unfortunately) was just very patient, super helpful, explained everything and was so nice and reassuring.     Money Management was a life saver for us. They are the real deal. They are a non profit organization, and they only charge $25 a month for their services. The rest if your payment goes to your creditors. Unlike all the other companies out there, they dont ask your creditors to take less than you owe. Only to stop the interest or lower it. Your credit doesnt take a hit either with them. I cant believe how quickly we got everyone paid off!! Only 2 years!! Not 10!! I recommend Money Management to everyone.     I was referred by a financial institution about Money Management International. I spoke with a representative who didnt judge me didnt question what happened why I was in the situation I was or anything. They asked how they could help, they gave me options, and steps to take. A simple payment solution was setup and check ups regularly about where I was standing in my credit, in my financial payoff and how I am doing since my payoff. Money Management International is a great company to deal with. I would love to say I will definitely look at them again and I would absolutely use them again, but Im hoping I dont have to :) .     I was in trouble. $40000.00 in debt kind of in trouble. I had lived for years without ever going anywhere or doing anything because I had no money. MMI helped me get on a payment plan. It took some time but now I am financially independent. I dont think that I could have done it on my own. If I could, it would have taken twice the time to pay off all of my debt.

    This company was recommended to me the first year I entered into recovery. I was in some debt that I had to consolidate, and they helped me do all of that. I paid one flat rate each month, and they took $20 out of that payment for themselves, the rest of it went directly to my credit card.     Stumbling upon MMI and deciding to use them to pay off my debt was literally the best decision I’ve ever made! I’m a recovering shopaholic so I had built up a ridiculous amount of debt with all my credit cards. I was referred to MMI from my bank.The rep that helped me was incredible. Super patient, and explained every question I had. Mostly I had a hard time believing this was real! Haha I didn’t know there were companies like this. And when he told me they’re nonprofit I realized I was very lucky.He was in communication with my debtors, via his computer, and configured my monthly payments in the spot. I was truly shocked.In my case, I only had to pay $800/mo for less than 5 years to wipe out my debt and have an incredible credit score, which I certainly do now. It’s 832.He was able to have creditors lower by amount owed by huge percentages in some cases. I still don’t really understand how they did it! I guess because they have a good reputation with creditors, so they are inclined to negotiate with MMI.Payment is to scale, so in my situation I didn’t need to pay them any additional fees. They do require you to put them in a monthly autopsy, and if that ever gets declined in the months to come they drop you from their program. So don’t blow it!!!So, Just as promised, here I am, less than 5 years later an almost perfect credit score, I’ve improved light years with my shopping cravings and had time to deal with THAT! AND I now have an extra $800/month already carved into my savings! Imagine I’m now SAVING $800 each month which I have it auto transferred to an account I have labeled as my “Travel & Fun” account.Bonus is I feel extremely proud of myself, I got MYSELF out of the hole I had dug, didn’t need to borrow from any family members (which was an option) I obviously highly recommend MMI.     5 years and I paid off all of my debts my credit score went from 300+ to 700+ Thanks to them. I called them when I was in a really bad place and did not understand the american system. Not only that I lost my job and it was hard to pay bills and my accounts were in the negative. Having them not only consolidate but also decrease the interest % on all of my credit cards and loans was the one thing that was on the bright side for me during that period. My heart was at rest and I was able to organise and prioritize to make the payments which were made affordable to me at the time. Never have I had to pay more than what was agreed. There is no hidden fees and I barely spoke to them during the time I was making payments because there was never nothing that happened that was beyond what was agreed in the contract. Fast forward 5 years, I am scared to use a credit card again lol but at least I have no debts. Thank you MMG for your honesty, consistency and loyalty.     Money Mgmt is the way to fly. Their plans are flawless.When my wife of 50 years suddenly passed away, reducing my monthly income by over 60% I tried on my own to work out payment arrangements. At that time I was over $70,000 in credit debt and had not the resources to pay it in full. I was recommended to MMI by the Bank of America and MMI took over the negotiations immediately and set up a long term, affordable payment plan based on my severely reduced income. They only charged me a $40 a month service fee and all I had to do was authorize them to set up an automatic withdrawal of a lump sum totaling the amount of my monthly payments disbursed to my creditors from my checking account. They started disbursing my funds to the creditors and as one was paid off they took the excess and shifted it to another account to pay that off too. After 4 years I will be totally debt free in 3 more months. My FICO score at the time of my wifes passing dropped to 540 FAIR and at present it has increased to 750 which is rated as VERY GOOD. Thanks to all you wonderful people at MMI,I am testimony to the basic fact that MMI will painlessly get you out of debt.

    This was an amazing way to pay off a substantial amount of debt in a set period of time with significantly reduced interest rates after making the decision debt would no longer be a part of our lives. MMIs debt management plans are good if you are serious about paying off debt for good. The only complaint I’ve ever seen against MMI is that if you don’t have your payment dates set up appropriately (something that is your responsibility, not MMIs) then you receive late payment fees. Simply make one extra payment on each of your accounts to get ahead of this to make sure the MMI payments that take some time to distribute are received on time. I cannot recommend MMI enough but it is truly for people looking to make a financial change, not a quick and easy fix to be thrown away by incurring more debt elsewhere.

    I made a few poor choices in my early twenties regarding my credit and found myself in a bind, to the point where I felt hopeless. I sought a solution to pay it off with a different negotiation than thé original deals made with the credit companies because I was overdrafting my bank account each week. I want to pay off everybody I owe without asking for a deal on the account because I didnt want to owe taxes on the pardoned amount and because I wanted to pay each dollar I had spent.     A few years ago I had maxed out my 2 cards. I made a minimum partial payment (min=30, I paid 15). My transaction was declined and I called customer service. I told them i just made an payment.
