    CAC has been wonderful! We have been with them for over three years. We have been treated professionally and compassionately. We never could have dug ourselves out of the hole we were in financially. They made the biggest difference in our lives. Eileen was especially helpful even beyond what I expected. She was so nice and I felt she really cared. That made an enormous difference to me and my well-being. Thank you, Eileen; you have that special touch!     Today I spoke with Carla and she was very helpful in explaining the program with me. She was very patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. I am just starting off in the program but I have a very good feeling that my credit is in good hands. I’m looking forward to working with Carla and Lighthouse to get rid of this debt in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend without a doubt.

    This was a big deal for me, one I had been putting off for a long time. Honestly, I don’t know what I was so afraid of, maybe rejection and no hope. CAC helped me get back in the saddle. Great customer service, which I know since I’m a nurse. Misty and Carla gave me all of the information I needed to feel comfortable with the process. I highly recommend.

    Let me just say that before I called you guys my stress level was at 100%. And I cant remember the guys name I talked to that day. But boy he took a weight off my shoulders.     Just got off the phone with Carissa an advisor for Consumer assistance program. I am a month-and-a-half into the program with a great deal of credit card debt oh, one day I may mention how much LOL a little embarrassing. After I spoke to Carissa she deserves more than five stars she coming down credit card companies have been calling me Non-Stop by the hour. She informed me with detail information and even text it to me on how to deal with it. And was very pleasant and take time to talk to me as a person not a number. I truly believe I know its only been a month and a half that this company is not out I like they make it but its what they can do for me and others in my situation. Which makes it almost feel like family already. If I could give Carissa a raise I would but right now I thank God that she answer the phone and sent me a lot of information on how to handle the calls from the creditors during the first two to three months. So hopefully I can get a little piece. Without the phone ringing every hour daily. I already feel bad enough because I got myself in the situation and I truly wish I could pay it back but I cant and with her help I realize Im not the only person that has a conscience and things happen great person great company highly suggest giving them a call if nothing else just to see to them. Hopefully Ill get Carissa everyone else has been nice as well but God sent her my way today!

    Good afternoon - I would like to give additional input with my interactions with this business. Recently, I had an account go to court. I was frantic. I had NO idea on how to handle any of it, especially since it is an account that was being handled through CAC (and beyond, to the financial negotiating company.) After all of the assistance that Juan provided a couple of months back, I had additional questions and circumstances arise with the same account. I called in and this time spoke with Shane M. While Juan was extremely helpful, Shane spent 2 hours going over the notes, including what was online for the court case, during our first interaction. He found some very useful information and explained it to me in a very simple but not in a condescending way. Furthermore, Shane has taken the time to follow-up with me on how the court proceeding went and again today, to congratulate me on getting ANOTHER account to settlement status. How amazing is that!?! I think this kind soul & great customer service representative deserves acknowledgement for his patience, his knowledge and his ability to make the clients feel good about the entire process (especially having the court proceeding regarding the account.) He was so reassuring that it helped me to have confidence with addressing the judge and working with the attorney for the company to whom my original account is being represented by. I do not hope to have to go through that (the court stuff) ever again and I am positive that my other accounts will also reach settlement status. Also, I hope I do not have to reach out to the representatives at CAC, but if I do, I would gladly work with Shane or Juan again because their customer service skills outweigh almost every other company and CSR that I have ever worked with. Your employees are amazing! Thank you, Shane, for all you did & making a nerve wrecking situation turn out with a great resolution! 😊Sr. Adv Juan was extremely helpful. He took the time to walk me through ALL of the response paperwork for my court summons. He was very pleasant and upbeat throughout the process. He went above and beyond to assist in finding my case number because it was not visible on the paperwork from the court. I am beyond words thankful to have had Juan as my senior advocate (advisor) today and I hope that if I need to communicate with Consumser Assistance Center for any further questions or concerns regarding this, that Juan will be the person I speak with.

He spent about an hour on the phone with me and put my mind at ease stating he’s handled situations like mine many times over the last 20-something years and he was 99.9% sure my issue would get resolved in my favor. Within 2.5 business days, the issue was resolved in my favor. Shane took the time to follow up with me to verify everything was all good. And then he followed up with me a few weeks later to make sure I was able to close on my home. I feel he genuinely cares about his clients and it shows.     When I first called the Consumer Assistance Center I had 5 creditors who all I could do was pay the minimum and never get anywhere with. After joining they settled 4 of my debts with in a short amount of time for way less money then I originally owed. There has been one creditor who has been more difficult to work with but consumer Assistance and Lighthouse have been with me every step of that way, walking me through, including when I’ve had to go to court due to this creditor. Consumer Assistance and Lighthouse have been extremely helpful and always pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them for anyone in a similar situation.
