    I absolutely love The Colony it’s a beautiful and quiet complex and it’s in a great area with lots of stores near by. Caylee was such a sweetheart she made the move in process a breeze! She was very communicative and helpful with everything.

    Its a clean complex, neighbors are nice. The management team has been kind and saved me a bunch of money by being through with reviewing the terms of our leasing agreement agreed on vs signed and compared that to what I was paying. Literally saved me hundreds.There are different unit styles, which is a huge plus. This was a review long overdue. Also, there are so many squirrels. They are so adorable.There are little roaches inside the walls. Its an older complex. Whether or not it becomes a unit infestation is on you. Stay clean and they wont bother you.

    Great place to live. Its nice and quiet. Neighbors are friendly and mostly keep to themselves but definitely look out for one another!! Theres several dog areas that are supplied with bags & trash bins for their owners to pick up after them. Almost everyone does except for the occasional few.Theres several laundry areas available if you dont have a washer/dryer. I went in there to wash and to my surprise the machines are run by an app! 😃 Thats really convenient! No more lugging quarters around or having to find somewhere to give you quarters. (Its been a long time since Ive used a public washer)

    I scheduled a tour with Miss Caylee (the manager) & expressed what unit I was interested in & gave me all the information I needed. She is so nice, I love her energy. I put the application in same day and although she is a busy women considering its peak season for the complex the ladies up there were nice as well keeping me updated. I was able to get approved a week later, Im excited to move in August!Edit: ✍️ 8/22/24I have officially moved in, I love my apartment its so cute and Ive already met my neighbors who seem like nice people! The only thing I would complain about is the parking spaces my area gets filled up pretty fast at night so its hard sometimes finding parking close to my door.

    I just recently moved out, not cause we had something negative about The Colony Apartments but because we bought a new house. If it wasn’t for this, we would have lived here for more years to come. They have very nice and courteous management and staff. They keep this place very cleaned and managed right. The apartments are well maintained, and if something breaks or needs fixing, you let them know and they will fix it right away. Never had any bad issues with pests. The place gets fumigated constantly. The environment is perfect for families with young kids. You can go out and ride your bike or walk with your kids. It was perfect for us during the pandemic, when you couldn’t go out to the streets. The place is safe and neighbors are friendly. The trees and landscape is perfect for those evening walks, without putting yourself at risk on the streets. There’s plenty of room here. They also have a picnic area where you can have that family gathering and BBQ at the same time. The pools are clean and always maintained, this was one of our good times here. All I can say, if you pick the Colony to be your home, you will make a good decision. Specially if you have family. The place is awesome!!!

    I wanna give a big thank you to the lady’s here at the colony apartments since I’ve met them they have been the sweetest things Mrs. Elizabeth and caylee and I can’t forget my beautiful girl Oprah. You all have been working with me since the time of my hardship no matter how I was towards you all you lady’s keep it very professional and remain calm but continue to get the job done for me I’m proud and happy to be living here at the colony and wait the maintenance team is also doing a very great job taking care of business. But living in the unit I have now is a blessing the love Darrell☺️♥️

    Very forgiving and nice. Good maintenance and good service. This is my first time out of my parents house and Im glad I chose the colony. With low prices and cheap laundry centers, I can get by just fine, especially when its located so close to essentials like grocery stores, gas stations, churches, pet facilities, public libraries, and more.

Her maintenance staff have been so accommodating to my needs. I like the fact that they come complete my requests in a timely manner. The area is perfect for my needs.     The Colony Apartments have been a pleasure to live at, the office staff is attentive, kind and patient. Never too busy to listen to or explain any questions I have.Their maintenance department makes sure everything is kept running smoothly .     I really enjoyed my experience here. I’ll start off with saying I left due to family issues back home in California and had to move back. Applying was super easy and was a fast process. While here I loved my place, Office staff were great and always took care of what I needed. Maintenance requests were handled immediately and they were friendly and pleasant. My only complaint about my experience is my upstairs neighbors. They were loud and obnoxious and ungodly hours! But aside from that if I come back to Texas I’m definitely coming back here!

    I have lived at The Colony for four years now and I love it here. The office staff are all very wonderful ladies and the maintenance staff are just as great and friendly. I have had no issues with my apartment or how they treat you. They do little community events throughout the year to celebrate different holidays. Like they just did an event to celebrate thanksgiving and bring the community together. They will also have contest on their Facebook page throughout the year as well. This is just a great apartment community to live in.

    I just move in to my apartment and let me say Im so pleased with the whole process. Michelle and the girls in the office are on the ball. Communication has been the best since day one. My apartment is clean and in great condition. Im happy I chose to live here.

    The staff is so generous and amazing to cook a meal for us. I feel appreciated and so thankful they thought of us.     During my stay here at The Colony the office staff has been very accommodating to my every need. Weather pertaining to a maintenance request, or pertaining to my lease. The office staff is always welcoming, and provides a very fast turn around taking care of my every need. I love the landscape scenery, tree’s are well kept and trimmed. If anyone is looking to move to the area I highly recommend you stopping in for a tour of the property.

    The community here is really nice! Having pups, I enjoy that there are areas throughout the complex for them to use as well as the dog park! The staff is pretty quick in solving complaints and theyre so very sweet! I love the location as well because its near a lot of stores and restaurants. The renovated apartments are simply gorgeous and Im super satisfied with our little townhome.

    I love this apartments, I sold my house and was worry to adapt to apartments but The Colony made me feel so welcome. The apartments are so clean the whole facility is clean, and safe. I go out at night time and sit in the patio and I enjoy my peacefulness. The office staff is amazing the girls are so ready to help it don’t matter how many times I email them or call them they always assist me with love. I honestly I’m so happy here I came to the right spot. Thank you Kacia Ramos you have been so helpful and so professional on your job helping me and the whole community. Every time I have any issue I email Kacia and she takes care of it right away GIRL YOU ARE THE BEST.

    I have lived here for 2 years I just renewed to stay another year and upgraded to a 2BR. Very convenient to the highways and stores. The staff is great, I have not had any issues with loud neighbors. Area is well kept up. Pool is nice and clean in the summer. Jeanette is very helpful and went out of her way to get me the unit and price range I was looking for.

    Lived at the colony for a year before i had to move for work but The Colony was a great place to live. The staff was very professional and friendly. Only had very few normal issues like the ac going out or plumbing that needed to be done but the staff always had maintenance respond the same day or next day. In the case of my A.C. going out, they had maint come in and bring a window unit the same day and had the unit fixed the next day. The maintenance person also assisted me with jump starting my car once which was nice of them to do. overall, the staff is great and goes above and beyond and i have no problems recommending them to everyone.

    I love living here!!!!! Everyone is so nice I have never had any problem with any services I have needed in my apartment either not that there has been any issues. It is a very quiet and safe place to live and we have access to all the major interstates as well. I tell all my customers about how fun it is and I wish that all my friends would move here as well.. I am signing my second year least and dont plan on going anywhere for a very long time.. Thank you Sable Ridge Staff for making my life easier....

    Jeanette the manager is awesome to deal with. She handles all my concerns in a professional and pleasing manner! She takes the time to hear my wants and needs and takes action to help me. Thank you to the management for being patient with my wife and my family on all my requirements for my apartment. Michelle took her time and explained everything to me. I read all these reviews and knew I had to write one. I’m pleased with The Colony. I’m pleased with my decision and know my family is in good hands here. Thank you management for taking the time. Also Walmart is walking distance for my daughter as she just got hired! New journey for us!

    Office staff and maintenance are the best. My experience has been nothing but great. My work orders are done on time and my needs are handled efficiently. Parking can be tight at night but that was handled when I got a reserved carport.

    I just recently moved in over the weekend and had a few concerns . I contacted the front office and within 5 minutes they dispatched maintenance. Luis arrived at my unit and was awesome . He came right in and addressed every concern . Luis promised to come the following Monday to finish up and he remained professional and true to his obligation. Great job Luis I appreciate your service.

    Michelle and Jeanette were amazing! The moment my client and I stepped into the lobby we were greeted and felt welcomed.     I stopped by the office to apply for a 2 bd / 2 bth apartment. Leasing agent Michelle was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable and honest about everything question i had. She made the time to show us the apartments available and i immediately fell in love with not only the apartment i was interested in but also the area. Its nice, quiet and beautiful trees everywhere. Were looking forward to calling the Colony our new home.

    I’ve lived here for a year now. Didn’t have a great experience at first when I got here but when new management took over they really TOOK OVER! The ladies in the office, Janine and Janette (sorry if I spelled those wrong) have been absolutely amazing to me and my living situation. Any time I’ve had any maintenance issues or anything of that nature they made sure it was resolved immediately and to my satisfaction. Never had any problems with any neighbors, everyone I’ve encountered has been pleasant. Overall great experience living here! Unfortunate I have to move out of state due to work. I loved living here. Thanks ladies!

    Have been living here for 4 months now and I can happily say I love it! Quiet area with green trees is one of the things I love about the apartments! My apartment has big windows and I love the flooring it has. The girls in the front office have been so helpful and nice! Everyone that comes to my apartment loves the style and look if it!

    The Colony is a perfect name for this little community. The staff make u feel like family. Jeanette is the manager here but she started off as a leasing agent and has been here longer. She is prompt with my work orders. Maintenance Luis does a great job with them. If you want a great scenery and friendly neighborhood, u need to move here asap. Im so glad I decided to come to The Colony.

    The manager & assistant need to be replaced ASAP! They do not care about their residents, or the complex! They lie about everything including contacting tenet, rent & even maintenance problems. They should a ZERO rating!!!08/16/21: The above rating has been edited after speaking with the manager again! She stated was disappointed, but pleasant & helpful. All problems were discussed again and resolved at this time to include a new dishwasher. Will update future progress.

    I was hesitant at first to move here because of the reviews, but since new management has taken over, I’m guessing that’s why I haven’t had much problems the reviews complain about besides the occasional bath tub clog. Not a huge fan of my dishwasher either but then again my unit isn’t a renovated model. However I love my floor plan and the ladies at the front office ( a beautiful office by the way) are so kind and sweet. Kecia is my favorite! It’s quiet here and the location is absolutely perfect. Don’t even need a car to live around here since grocery stores, bank, bars and restaurants are in walking distance. Lots of trees to shade cars and our apartment. Also there are many floor plans available! Thinking about switching to a renovated 2 bed room townhome! Love it here. Initially did a 6 month lease to test the experience and have recently renewed for a year.

    The staff is amazing! They are super nice, have called every once in a while to check to see how we like the place and if we have had any problems. Which shows they really care about their residents. Which i absolutely love. We have not had any problems with the neighbors or anything like that. its set up really nicely.     I have had a bad few months financially but all I can say is Becca has been super awesome and helpful. All I had to do was communicate with her the issues and both of us have worked together to resolve them. Thank you Becca and thank you also to Michelle. About a week ago she helped my wife to print some important documents since our printer broke. The colony apartments management has gone above and beyond to assist us.

    Toured an apartment today. Michelle is so courteous and helpful and answered all my questions. I saw the office was very busy but she took the time to answer all my questions. The trees are beautiful and I love the floor plan itself. I have a couple more options before making my decision but this is on my top list.

    I do not see where the bad reviews are coming from. The office girls are WONDERFUL. It is an apartment complex, they cant control everything. I have no bug problems, and the maintenance guys are always on top when you call in a request. I live here now, i am a single mom and the ladies always worked with me if i needed.     Although The Colony is an older complex, it is very well maintained. It is a quiet, friendly community with professional and friendly staff. Maintenance deals with any issues you may have in a timely manner. Close to Walmart, HEB, the Forum, Randolph AFB, and plenty of food establishment on Pat BookerI would recommend to my family and friends.

    The Colony is great for people just starting out; its affordable, close to grocery stores and the freeway, very responsive in communication and maintenance requests, and they are very pet friendly. My husband and I had to upgrade our lease early due to a baby coming and they were wonderful in helping us get a new unit for our needs.

    Jeanette the property manager is doing a great job with her staff. All very friendly and accomodating to residents needs and request. Location is not far from Walmart or HEB and surrounding restaurants. Complex is very nice and clean a great place to call home.

    Have lived at the Colony for a year and ahalf - just wish I would have chose apartment living years ago.The staff are eager to help, with a smile, no matter the request.The maintenance staff are fast and efficient in their jobs.Staffs are always cordial when my family and I see them around the complex.I believe the Colony will be our home for the future.

    Currently a resident here at the complex and so far Ive had little to no trouble. Currently theyre undergoing a management change and the new management team seems to be thoughtful of the residents here. The unit themselves arent as updated as some other complexes around the area, however everything in my unit is still well-functioning and in great condition. The new matience team is very quick and respectful. My only complaint would be the outlets inside the unit are not updated or bountiful. Id recommend the complex to those who might not need the fanciest complex and need an affordable home.

    The office staff is very nice. Ive went in with general complaints and they have solved my issues in a timely manner. I went in just last week because my bathroom door was locked and Elizabeth from the office came over with a screwdriver to help reopen the bathroom door. I do feel the staff does go above and beyond for the residents that reside here.

    Had a pretty good experience at Sable Ridge there were a few issues regarding move-out, but management was pretty quick to provide transparency and solutions. All in all the only thing that I could possibly complain about would be the community playground are not always maintained, but its not all there fault. Tenants dont clean up after themselves as they should. So for that Ill give 4 stars. I will say that for those that have complained on here, I would encourage you to allow management the chance to come to an amicable conclusion with you. Obviously, if your needs dont get met, and you feel youre in the right and have a case, then by all means dont just post here, but take it to BBB. Just a word of advice for those bad mouthing the apartment.
