Recently moved into my new one bedroom apartment at ‘The Brook’ and I love it! The apartment complex is not new but it’s well maintained, well managed and safe, which is key as a woman living alone.The maintenance crew respond quickly to issues and the office staff is friendly and very helpful.I love the prime location, and the price of the apartments is lower them most other neighborhoods in Austin.All in all it’s a peaceful and safe place to live in the heart of Austin.

I love living here! The staff is so attentive when you need something. I am especially thankful to Gio in the office for his great communication! Very spacious 2 bedroom! There’s no laundry in unit but the facility has a lot of machines so there’s never an issue with getting it done. So far no complaints

Just moved here from Indiana. Had to rent sight unseen and was worried by the ratings and reviews but I liked what I saw in the pictures. Im in the back, right off the creek and in the most wooded area. Yes, there are insects that get in. Easily solved with a fly swatter. You will never rent an apartment near the woods and a creek and not deal with critters finding a way in. I realized the AC wasnt working on day 2. It was remedied in under 3 hours. Great maintenance staff. Friendly front of house. I would suggest renting here if you understand what apartment living is and that the world is not built to cater to your every need. Be self reliant. Not everything works all the time, some stuff is old, some new. There are footsteps and noises. And yes, if you dont have a tenant sticker in your window, you will get towed overnight. There is limited parking for tenants and ALOT of guest parking. Park where you belong. The practice is a bit predatory but your told up front what the deal is. All in all, Im happy to have found such a gorgeous property. An oasis of green trees and plants in an otherwise dry and dusty area.

They just hired staff that knows sign language and I was so pleased to be able to communicate easily with them. Felicia and Alicia are awesome!

I read the reviews before submitting an application. Now, i had to pull out my application due to family matters but from the first step into the process till i canceled, the staff have been very nice, supportive, and professional. Geo and Felicia have helped find the unit that suits my need by taking the time on multiple occasions to tour several units, retoured some units that i have seen already and suggesting new ones. The complex is clean compare to how old it is.

Gio, is a person of their word. I called on a Saturday, to request some changes on my lease. He said he would get back to me the same day! And he sure did!!!!!! Best customer service! Keep at it Gio! Also a shout out to Willie, and his maintenance crew, for swiftly getting my repairs request done. (Wobbly ceiling fan, got new one. Garbage disposal, replaced with a new one!!! Thank you Willie, and crew!!! (Tenant B9-A158)

Such a great place to live!!! Lori is the best and Willie is the coolest. Such an amazing staff I really appreciate everything they do. The location is tucked away and quiet. Everyone here is chill and respectful to one another.

I moved from a different state to texas and was originally slightly disappointed with the brook (units are dated, but very cheap) and I left it behind earlier this year for a more expensive, nicer apartment near my work. Well, I have to say especially after dealing with this totally awful new property management, that I wish I had never left the Brook. Yes, its old. Yes, there are bugs because a creek is right there. However, its cheap, the pool is nice, the property management team is always timely in their responses, and my A/C and water never shut off or stopped working once. The property managers are also generally very nice and professional.

Ive lived at this apartment complex for nearly 4 years, in 2 different units, and Ive enjoyed nearly every minute. The leasing office staff is amazing, both Shirley and Alex are warm, friendly, and take care of issues reported promptly. The maintenance staff is fantastic, and takes care of problems quickly and effectively. Plus, this location at its price cannot be beat.

Awesome staff and super affordable for such an awesome location in Austin. This apartment complex is definitely older which is why it is probably so much more affordable then some of the other fancier apartments in the area. The complex backs up to Travis Heights Neighborhood which has a green space that runs right through it so it is a beautiful place to run. Not to mention you are less than 2 miles to Lady Bird Lake, 2 miles to St. Edwards University, and 4 miles to UT. Everything is close and convenient! The staff knew every single person by name which really makes you feel important. I highly recommended this place as long as you can overlook that it is older, you may have to use community laundry facilities, and there is a little road noise that is expected being so close to I35.

This is a great location for the price. The staff is very friendly and timely with work orders. The apartments are older, but the tall trees give it an established feel. Im not at all bothered by sound from i35 and I live on the close side fyi. Id live here again if I wasnt already living here.

Ive lived here for 4 years in 3 different units and I love it all. Its affordable, older feel but still nice, super friendly staff that will accommodate whatever they can, and most of the people here are easy going and friendly as well. Dont be a bad neighbor and youll love it too!

Really well priced apartments that are taken care of better than the expensive high rises downtown. The management is really friendly, and they allow you to pay for rent by credit card.
