    I have really enjoyed living at Stoneleigh on Spring Creek Apartments. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a neighborly apartment complex and affordable value. I really appreciate that they participate in Apartment Life activities provided 2 times every month. It provides an excellent opportunity to get to know your neighbors and they always offer tasty refreshments with fun activities like: Pictures with Santa Claus, get together brunches and Donuts and Dog treats. I look forward to these events every month and really regret it if I have to miss one. They are typically held on Saturdays over the span of several hours so everyone can find a time to attend!     I lived here for over 2 and half years, and I really loved my time here! The view to the forest reserve from my apartment was serene. The community was quiet, so it was peaceful for me to work from home, and for getting sound sleep. Maintenance team and office staffs were always prompt and professional, often going above and beyond to address my concerns. Ill go back to this property if I move back to Dallas area!

    I have lived here for 4 years going on to sign my 5th lease. The community as a whole is peaceful, quiet, and serene. The mature trees and preserve provides a calming atmosphere. The maintenance team is amazing, and the office personnel goes above and beyond. Sure, its an older community-- it is built solid and has a lot of character.

    This month I celebrate my one year anniversary of living at the Stoneleigh on Spring Creek Apartments. I love the fact that it is backed into the forest, which is nice to have so much of nature around me. On the flip-side having so many other amenities (restaurants and shopping) available right across the street is a real plus. The management is great, and maintenance does a really good job of keeping the place in prime condition. I just resigned my lease and look forward to being here for a while. JR

    Ive been with the property for nearly a year. Ive submitted a maintenance only twice and the Techs has been on time either that day or the next day fixing my maintenance issue. The property is well kept including the pool for the summer. To all the Ladies in the office that that has listened and understood my situation during the time of my son passing. They have went above and beyond and very nice to assist me with everything that I needed to make sure I was taking care of and my home was in good hands. Thank you Tonya, Dana, Jeanne and Karen. You Ladies are Awesome!!!

    Curtis Jones is great! He is always attentive, comes and gets the job fixed every time! He’s great at customer service and even humors my small talk while he is here. Great employee and would recommend him to anyone or to work anywhere! You need more guys like him! If it’s even possible to find.

    UPDATED REVIEW:I’m much happier now. I think my a/c has finally been fixed. One star off due to the amount of time it took to fix. Tonya and Dinah were extremely helpful to make sure it was fixed and that I am comfortable in my home.Thank you for not giving up on my air conditioning issue! I’m back to loving my home.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I used to love living here. I’ve lived here for over 6 years and I hate that it’s come to this.Let me preface by saying I live on a third floor apartment facing the afternoon sun. I understand it will take a lot of energy to cool my apartment, however, I expect to be comfortable in my own home. As I write this, my thermostat is set at 72. It’s 80 degrees in my apartment, and this is not the first time I’ve had issues with my a/c.The property manager and maintenance are aware of this issue. First, they replaced the coil last year. That helped a little. Fast forward to this year, where they fully replaced the outside a/c unit and the inside unit. Now it works worse than ever.Huh?To make things worse, now I’m being told by the property manager AND the a/c company that there’s nothing they can do, and I have to live in an 80+ degree apartment all summer. According to the a/c company and the apartments, it’s due to the terrible and old ventilation system that the apartment has, and poor insulation. And they’re not willing to fix it.Disappointed, hurt, and angry are an understatement. I’m livid. Also, I just signed another 13 month lease.Tigor, the property manager, was helpful in the beginning, but has now given up and is not doing anything to help fix the situation.Again, I used to love living here.Rent at your own risk.

    To whom it may concern,I hope this e-mail reaches you in good spirits. In today’s busy world, you forget to thank the ones who make your life better just by doing their job by going above and beyond. I wanted to tell you about my experience with a couple of your maintenance department guys. Their names are Tommy and Moe, in the Garland Stoneleigh on the Creek Apartment. I have put in a maintenance request on Oct. 26, for the microwave, which stopped working 3 days prior. The call was answered the following day, but the fix was temporary and made the physical appearance of the microwave worse. Nobody wants a temporary fix! ☹ So, I ran into Mr. Tommy around the complex and he asked me about the work order, I told him that I was not satisfied. He said he’s going to take care of it. Long story short……he and Moe had a new microwave installed the very next day! I appreciate people for who they are, and I REALLY APPRECIATE both of them for making things right by doing it right…..efficiently and very friendly! Just like family……you want to do it right for them, and that’s how it made me feel! Please make sure that they are recognized for doing a job well done!

    I wanted to add another Thanks to maintenance team members, Mo and Robert, who came out to fix our heater during the Arctic Blast last week on 12/23/22. Mo told me he’d get it done no matter how long (it’s a difficult unit to repair) and he did. He got it running despite taking over an hour and we started to get warm. He could have gave up like the previous guy but he got it done and Robert assisted him with getting it done. There were many buildings he had left to do and he was getting tired so I appreciated his commitment! So again, Thank you Mo and Robert for getting our home back warm under the most dire consequences and an unbelievable work load! We appreciate you both!Thank you Michael in Maintenance! Our heat went out last night on a very cold night and morning, I called the emergency maintenance line and left a message. Less than 5 mins. later, Micheal called me back and told me he’d get to me today by noon. He came by, and proceeded to fix the problem with the heater having to take the unit down by himself, it was heavy and above his head, and fixed it so we could get warm. He even screwed in our dishwasher that was not secured and our laundry doors! He had done 3 other jobs before mine. Michael is a honorable person and a great worker. He could have left and tried to come back at a later date once he had assistance but he managed to find the strength to do it all by himself. Our hero. He went above and beyond. He’s an asset to Stoneleigh! Please give that man a raise! He represents your company well as does Samantha and the other office staff. We can’t Thank him enough! Another reason we love living here! ❤️

    Been here for a little over a year and I have no bad things to say. The community is great and Ive never had a serious maintenance issue like at other places Ive lived. Great management and they do lots of fun events for the community which me and my daughter love to take advantage of! Very convenient living so close to so many things so Im not wasting gas driving all over town for errands or fun things to do. I will definitely continue to renew here as long as I can 😊

    I lived at this property for six years (three different apartments) and rarely had issues. The office staff and maintenance crew were always courteous and helpful. The apartments need some upgrading, but it seems like they’re slowly getting there. There was ample space to walk a dog but many residents don’t pick up after their pet, an issue management has tried to address many times. Overall, I was satisfied with my apartments and time at Stoneleigh!

    Have lived here a few months and love it so far! Maintenance team is very attentive. I had a few issues when I first moved in, a Brandon came out the first time. While looking into the issue he noticed something wrong and and addressed that issue for me before it had the opportunity to become something worse. I did have a reoccurring issue, but the maintenance supervisor Tommy came out the last time as soon as he got word of the issue. Both were very prompt and professional. Everyone Ive encountered on staff both in office and maintenance have been very pleasant and did everything they could to help me.

    I lived there for 3.5 years and while it wasnt perfect, Im giving it 5 stars because it was really an overall good experience with just a few small things. The office staff is amazing and worked with me on various issues I had, and really the best group of ladies Ive dealt with for apartments in many years of apartment living. The maintenance staff was always polite and very responsive. The people that live there for the most part are really polite and quiet and I never experienced or heard of any break-ins and not really loud music etc. We could hear our upstairs neighbors walk around sometimes but it wasnt noticeable mostly and didnt bother me. The woods were great to have right behind us and it was very convenient to be by the gym and other things nearby. We never had bugs in our apartment really, no bad smells, no issues with the build quality etc.The only negative things - the entrance by the office needs a ramped sidewalk in and out, right now it has a partial sidewalk near the entrance but you have to walk in the guest lane to get to it and its very dangerous at night with no lighting right there and people flying through. I mentioned this many times and corporate seemed to shut it down. The other thing is I thought it was weird you cant rent or stop renting parking spaces mid-lease.Overall though we had a good experience and I would recommend it.

    Have lived here for two years and it’s been a good place to be it’s located in a great spot close to everything you could want and need. Maintenance can get overwhelmed and take along time to get to you but it’s been an overall good experience.

    Staff is always nice and services your request in a timely manner. Communication is very through and they try to help you in any way they can. Property is very quiet and clean. The management care about the property and renters. Very family oriented and always has things going on for the tenants to be involved in. My apartment has a very home feel as i am told by all of my visitors. Just wish some of the finishes were more appropriate for the price. Overall i recommend to anyone.

    We have lived there previously, and are happy to move back as we return to town. We have always raved about their complex, and have even more reason to do so as we have been helped so generously by the leasing office staff especially Karen. The grounds are kept clean and quiet, great community, and the staff always does their best to make their residents feel at home. Thank you Stoneleigh for all your hard work.

    I lived year for a year and went into the office regularly for packages. They were always very helpful and friendly. Their service team fixed everything the next day each time I had issues. I loved their multiple pools and gyms. Its close to everything you need for shopping. The apartment was clean and the move in and out was easy. No complaints here!

    Our experience has been really positive here. People are responsive, I really like the employees (Israela!!), and its generally quiet with no major issues. The only complaint that I would have is that Maintenance is very slow with work orders at times (not in emergency situations). Our laundry door had an issue, for example, and it took over a month to get it resolved. Im hoping that will improve, but our experience has been really positive. It seems like people complain about the valet garbage pick up service, but it makes it really convenient when they also pick up recycling at the same time.. and its 5 days per week! Just wish the wild animals would stay way sometimes, but I mean we are next to a nature reserve :)

    Ive lived at Stoneleigh for just about two years (2016-2018). There are pros and cons to any rented living area but this complex has been the nicest experience in all my years of apartment renting. The grounds are really lovely and back up to a nature reserve/creek area. This does mean there are small animals about, mostly armadillos who come up to the lawn areas digging for grubs and raccoons who come to search the trash compactor at night. Ive seen a couple field mice and forest roaches but on the whole the building is pest free and very clean. During the Summer the wasps build their little nests non-stop but they call in a wasp removal guy to remove hives and such. The staff keep the grounds clean as well, which is appreciated. As far as signing went, it was a little bit stressful as the online site shows available apartments but they are rarely actually available by the time you arrive to view available apartments. Im not quite sure why they have it set up that way. Price wise, its better for the area but there are a lot of fees tacked on to the side here and there that add up. We expected this going in so it wasnt such a surprise. There is a garbage service (one of the fee items you pay) that pick up Sunday-Thursday nights from each residents door. They do not pick up if there is a severe storm warning or on civil holidays. Weve only had them cancel due to a storm twice in the years weve been here. There are rules around how trash is put out for the trash pick up so if you violate terms consistently they will fine you. The first year we were here the weekends were a mess with trash. People would just lazily throw their trash bags outside the trash compactor area. Then other people would think the trash compactor was full so they left their bags outside too. It was a stinky mess. However, the staff addressed the issue and began to regularly assign staff to clean up the trash compactor area before the weekend and check it periodically. They were also a bit understaffed in front office last year. Packages are delivered to the office so trying to pick up packages was a bit of a wait for several months. Sundays were also a mess for a long time because they only had one staff member working on Sundays. Theyve been able to change that and theyve increased the front office staff. Ive always found them to be polite and friendly. Theyve also improved their maintenance work order system. The guys that work in that department are fantastic. They are all skilled and really careful to be respectful while in your home. During the first year, the work order system was a struggle. If you put in a simple work order, it was fixed promptly. If it was a work order that required an ordered part (our microwave was broken from day 1) then it would be marked complete and never addressed again. After months of putting in work orders I (calmly) had a talk with the office manager. That specific work order was promptly completed. Since then theyve changed some things in the online system so work orders needing more work can be marked as pending. We have not had this issue since then. We do have a dog so we are familiar with the pet setup. There are bag/trash stations scattered about the property. There is one between each building. Some renters are VERY lazy and leave their dog poop for everyone else to step on. The only suggestion I would have is stations near the mail boxes as that is where owners walk their dogs in the evenings. There is a good sized (for an apartment area) dog park on the property that is shaded with a picnic table and bench. The pools are nice and there is a hot tub near the main pool. There are also a couple small gyms which are clean and well air conditioned. The parking is limited on the weekends as everyone is home at the same time and there might be visitors too. They have assigned/paid covered parking that you can purchase for a monthly fee. Overall we have really loved living here. Its the first apartment Ive rented that really feels like a home.

    Lived here for almost 3 1/2 years. Management was one of the best I have seen. Was going through some financial issues and the Property Manager helped me as much as she could at the time and it was greatly appreciated. Sometimes the staff can be a bit over friendly but guess thats better then not being friendly. Good place to live and good location right off Bush.

    Staff seems courteous, and they respond to repair issues, work out area is good. Neighbors are nice, some residents here do not pick up litter or after pets. Also, while some may enjoy the resident gatherings at the club house, my preference (and I may be in the minority here) would be to take the costs from those and reduce the rent a bit for everyone, or use it for upgrading the property.

    I have lived at these apartments for almost a year now, but did previously live here (but moved closer to job at the time). So far between trying to deal with Covid restrictions, the staff has been very accommodating and helpful. Anytime I need anything, I can contact them through email, the office now and the portal. I have had two recent issues, one minor (microwave door broke) and one a little bigger (thermostat broke). I have had someone over within a day to fix both. I did get to greet the gentlemen on maintance on one occasion and both were very nice and did their job quickly and clean. Compared to apartments I have lived it the past, Stonleigh is a nice change of pace!

    I am so pleased with our current maintenance staff. Ricky the manager over maintenance is always efficient and on top of his staff. I am even more excited to have Jay a part of the team. He works so diligently, fast and very professional. I love living here at Stoneleigh on Spring Creek because of how everyone is so attentive and knowledgeable.     Edit 6/15/19:Since that first month things have been much much better. Staff has always been friendly and courteous. You also cant beat this location as it is next to everything but feels like a private resort. My wife and i argue on which pool we want to go to haha. Maintenance is beyond amazing and extremely skilled. Im forever grateful we decided to lease here. I recommend leasing here for everyone.We are new tenants and now on our 6th call to get the HVAC fixed. Our apartment gets up to 90 degrees regularly. Its a shame that we have had this constant issue in a month. Im scared to see what it will be like during winter time. We have been very patient but enough is enough. 6 attempts as of today(8/21/18) is enough to drive anyone crazy. Im sure there are many who have had great experiences here. Unfortunately we are not one of them.

    Samantha in the front office was absolutely wonderful in helping me get moved in and throughout the whole application process. A great experience.We love our unit and everything has been just great since moving in. Samantha is a great helper though out the whole process.     As much as I would love to give these apts a 5 star, as a resident with stoneleigh for a year, I inquired about a copy of my ledger I spoke with Samantha and she has it printed it out for me, due to not having the time to pick it up because I work 6 days a week from 8-7 I had called to see if I can maybe get an email copy of my ledger. Samantha was the one who answered and when questioning her about an email copy she proceeded to tell me she has a print out copy with an attitude. Never have I ever had any issues with other staff members. Karen, Dana, and Tonya all have been very helpful and have never given me an attitude.idk if this woman Samantha is new, however her customer service was horrible. Besides everyone else, they all have been helpful

    Great and caring management (Tonya & Angela) and excellent staff (Kinyatae). Everytime I entered the office I was greatly taken care of and the staff were very responsive. Any repairs need, maintenance was there in under 48 hours. Would highly recommend to visit them to see what they have to offer! Also, what really made the experience enjoyable living at this apartment complex were the neighbor events/CARES events held by Charity and her husband Mr. Santibanez .Overall, great experience and will miss the entire staff.     Great place to live, I am a resident at the moment. Sad part I also has a similar situation like my neighbor, I have a cover parking and I work at a Audi dealership, so I would always come home lunch time with a different dealership car and park in MY EVERYDAY USUAL SPOT. Went inside to grab a few things literally 5 min in , and came right out , my car was gone. I see matience always outside around in their garages, I just wonder if they call the tow truck driver as soon as they see a different car without assuming oh its just the resident.

    Ive lived here for a yr my bf for 2 yrs. They had 4 stars when he moved in Im surprised its dropped this much. I love it here. Its quiet, pretty, we love going fir walks in the complex. I like the office staff maintenance gets stuff done quickly. We move in 3 wks Im going to miss it.

    Update: maintenance supervisor has ordered the part for AC unit that is dripping causing the mold, we hired our own mold inspector to evaluate mold on ceiling above master bedroom shower, mold test and air spore results are pending, thank you Jason and Dinah for fixing this problem for us!

    Great community, I’ve only been here 3 weeks and the communication and response is amazing. Very quite property and in a very very convenient location literally almost everything you need is no more than a 10 mile radius including a mall.

    Team member Brandon was very prompt at getting the lights back on in my Mothers apartment, 2701...he was very professional and considerate...he changed the dining room and kitchen lights, she said it was a pleasant experience having him here...thank you!

    I recommend stoneleigh place from the beginning the ladies in the office were very helpful and when I moved in I had a few things that needed to be done and I got it in less than 24 hours, I feel very safe there its quiet and very clean Im glad I went with stoneleigh place for my home.

    I have lived here for 8 months and it has been wonderful. A relaxing, safe place. The conditions of the apartments are optimal. Only note, the access door remains open because it continually breaks. Outside of this, I dont have the slightest complaint.
