The Year 2023 only has 23 more Days before its out with the Old and in with the New.The San Jacinto Apartments has been one of Houstons Best Kept Historical Residential Buildings in the Midtown Neighborhood of this ever growing Metropolitan City.Now with the Regenetification of Midtown and the Downtown area; seeing the well known McDonalds on Main street and now Greyhound Bus Station Closing, will the 36 Unit SRO San Jacinto Apartments remain a Historical Jewel nestled on the edge of Midtown on Mcilhenny street?According to the December 2023 PUBLIC MEETING SERIES Changes for the Better, regarding the Voluntary Resolution Agreement (VRA) and future Construction Schedule; Projects are possibly on the way to include improvements to this area of Houston.The History of Houston is not being erased but improved upon. The San Jacinto Apartments on Mcilhenny Street has great potential in my Opinion; if its willing to become more innovated in its Building Structure and Practices, to maintain The City Standards.OVERALL REVIEW:= 85% GOODSan Jacinto Apartments are Safe, Clean, and in a Great location.

The waiting list for me was 2 years. I was moving and living from place to place with different people. I am glad and thankful for this place. I have been here for a year and have nothing but happiness. The management listens and the maintenance here is pretty good for it to be only two people running 38 apartments. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a home and is in the low income bracket.

I was homeless for 2 years at a local Houston shelter. My case worker referred me to San Jacinto Apts in April 2015 the wait was one year but the manager and maintenance man worked overtime to prepare my Apt. I was given some essentials left dishes etc when I moved in. I am extremely thankful for these people. GOD is using them I hope they know it as well.
