    Ive been living here @ Berkshire Riverview for 9 months in a great apartment with an astounding view! Ill concur as well with a fellow resident concerning our awesome maintenance team who are always quite nice and quick to respond to requests concerning any issues one may have!! Also, in speaking with Jenn and Delma, they both seemed to really be in tune with me when I spoke with them and I greatly appreciate their time to listen!!! Last, but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, I applaud the owners/leasing staff for the upgrade to the coffee/beverage machine! Not only are there more varieties of coffee beverages to choose from, but additionally, one can select the cup size for their beverage to be dispensed in to!!!! To all coffee drinkers, this is just one of the great amenities offered to all of the residents here at Berkshire Riverview...complimentary coffee available 24/7!!!!!Tommie R.

    I’ve been living here now for nearly 2 months. It’s been fantastic! It’s been better than I thought it would be. The staff is super friendly. The grounds are always super clean. The views are amazing from my apartment. I can’t see me leaving here anytime soon.

    CLEAN, safe, beautiful living space. Staff work’s incredibly hard to maintain common areas and responds to work orders with swiftness. Jennifer, Delma and Thalia in the front office are a delight to interact with and resolve questions/concerns with swiftness, kindness and patience. Great experience here.

    I moved into Berkshire Riverview a few months ago and have had a blast! Walking distance from Rainey St, right on the trail, great pool scene! In fact they’re having their annual pool party today woohoo!! Would definitely recommend living here!

    As a delivery driver, the people that work at the leasing office are super nice and very helpful. One of them offers me a nice cold drink so I could stay hydrated out there in this brutal, Texas heat. And I really appreciate them so much. And the customers that I deliver to were super nice as well and they all appreciate for what I do. I enjoy delivering to this location and they deserves an all-star. This place is really nice and clean and well-maintained and the AC feels really nice. This place is top-notch. I love it.

    I’ve been living here since Jan ‘24. A great experience so far. Unbeatable location right by the trail, good amenities to enjoy like the pool and gym. Common areas most of the time are clean and well maintained.

    Edit : They got security. As promised, changing my review.----Original : My car was broken into, like many others have said. This is a daily occurrence at this particular complex. Luckily, I left my car doors unlocked so they didnt smash my windows. If management can get the break ins under control, Id be happy to change my review, but until then, Im leaving a 1 star review.

    Overall this is a very clean and nice apt complex. Quite large too! The sense of community I felt present when I first moved in seems to have faded a bit. However, that’s just my experience. I was in building D (3rd floor) and the one thing I never got used to was the sounds of traffic, cars, sirens, etc 24/7. So If you’re sensitive to that or have a hint you might, I would look at the other 3 buildings (ABC).Especially Bldg A or B

    I may be a little generous with 5 stars, but Im also realistic about expectations. No apartment complex is perfect: things break, management turnover happens, residents can behave badly, crime in a big city is inevitable, etc., etc.Ive lived in the Riverview the past 2 years and overall, I really enjoyed it. The location is awesome, right on the greenbelt/lake, reasonable walking distance to downtown and easy access to I-35. The facilities are great, with a nice pool, decent fitness room, bbq area, etc. The front office staff has rotated quite a bit over the past 2 years, but overall they have been responsive and friendly. The maintenance and cleaning staff is hard-working, dedicated and efficient, and does their best to mitigate the impact of occasional poor behavior/manors of the residents and their pets. The social committee is active and has fun events about every 3-4 weeks. The apartments are materially larger than most in the area for the same price and mine came with 2 reserved parking spots at no additional cost. Compared to other similar apartments in the area, the Riverview is a good value for the price.My main complaint about the apartments would be parking. Visitor parking gets filled up quickly and theres no where else to park nearby. There is also frequent car/property crime inside the gated section of the garage. My kayak was stolen and my was car burglarized, and most people have the same experience eventually. I also have a problem with the predatory towing service that patrols the resident section of the garage like vultures. In my case, as mentioned, I had two reserved parking spaces, but I couldnt use them for guests. The first time I tried, my guests car was towed...Again, overall I enjoyed the experience at Riverview and will miss it.

    Loved my experience at Berkshire Riverview. Incredible staff, beautiful pool, nice gym, and I loved the coffee machine! Maintenance is very fast and parking is free under the building which is clutch. Quick walk to Lady Bird Lake for city views. Very much suggest moving here.

    Amazing location. Especially if you love to walk or run on the trail regularly. Easy access to I-35, and downtown is extremely close. I love how spacious my apartment is for being a 1B1B. Apart from some dust on the floor, the apartment was fairly clean upon move in. When I initially started looking at apartments, Jen at the front office was extremely helpful and attentive to my questions throughout the initial application process and even during the time period before starting my lease. Maintenance has been a life savor, shout out to Santos! Norelle has also been great and has been extremely helpful throughout my moving process. I look forward to my time here and will update my review as pertinent.

    Great apartment and I love living here. Had its ups and downs in terms of security but as far as I can tell we have security now which is good. I also must shout out Jennifer in the leasing office, she is the nicest and most helpful property manager Ive worked with.

    For the short time that i lived here, i genuinely enjoyed it! there are a bunch of negative reviews, but from my experience theyre way overblown. obvi there are downsides everywhere, but at Riverview there are a ton of upsides and the community here is great. plus its right on the trail, close to downtown, nice gym, great people, etc. 10/10 would recommend

    Riverview has been a wonderful place to call home for the three years weve lived here. The building has excellent construction with very quiet apartments. Plus, its super energy efficient! The location is fabulous, the staff has been wonderful, and I always felt safe. Truly couldnt have asked for a better apartment.

    I’ve been living here 3 1/2 years, ever since I moved to Austin for work. I feel like there is great value here, with the apartments being upscale and a big size for what you pay. I have friends living in similar apartments just on the other side of 35, but their rent is significantly more for comparable upscale units. Probably my favorite thing is the staff, they’re just kind and helpful and down to earth. One time I got locked out of my apartment, pretty stressed about that and had to rush off to work, I called the office and they had a great solution: they left a spare key for me in parcel pending, where I got a code texted to me so I could access the key, and they trusted me to just return the spare key the next day. A pretty great hassle free solution. I’ve had many encounters over the years where I think to myself ‘that was easy’. One last note, I once heard these apartments were built to a higher level condominium spec, but then purposed as Apartments, basically that means that you never hear any sound from neighbors on either side nor up nor down. That’s a big one for me. Happy here.

    At the time of writing this review, Ive been living at RiverView for nearly 9 months. It is a newer complex and I was the first to live in my unit. Here are my thoughts:Why I wouldnt recommend to a friend:*Moving-in is a real hassle. The complex has 4 separate buildings (A-D) and 1 freight elevator for the 2 towers. You have to exit the freight elevator and move the items to another elevator (after having to use the key fob twice). You will need a moving company. Mine said, out of all the years theyve been moving people, RiverView was the worst.*Units are nearly 100% living space -- meaning very little (to none) storage space.*The pool is in a horrible location. In mid-summer, the pool is in full shade around 2pm.*Parking is expensive. 1 spot per bedroom. After that $100/monthWhy I would recommend to a friend:*Great location to downtown and 35 / Riverside Dr*New complex -- nice amenities (workout equipment, lounge, cabanas, outdoor grilling with TVs)*Direct access to the boardwalk*Friendly staff*Quick maintenance*Energy efficient (bills have been lower)*Full size washer and dryer provided*Younger community, but never loud*Great views of downtown and Town Lake*Monthly community outings/activities

    Lived here for almost 3 yrs. This was one of the best, if not the best, places I have ever lived. The location is fantastic, 1 min from the trail and water, 5 min from Rainey and downtown on the bike (10 min walking). The apartment is fantastic, thick concrete walls and I never heard my neighbors. They have fun events by the Cares team. I read all those negative reviews and I think those people need to get a reality check. The property staff works day and night to be there for all residents. I have lived in many places and I guarantee you they are the best. Its funny how people blame others for their stupidity. I tell it as is and if I had a negative experience with this place you would know it, trust me. The ONLY issues I have is people who can’t obey the rules or pick up their dog poop. The staff is amazing, hardworking people, nice, and awesome. The place is fantastic. And did I mention FREE Starbucks coffee every morning? Do I need to say more? Give it a try, wont regret it and dont listen to people who are just unrealistic and unhappy in general.

    Ive lived in a lot of apartments over the years -- Riverview is my favorite. I actually signed two leases with them (which sums it up).Many of the issues reported in other reviews are true. Anyone who really wants to can get into the garage (which is true with most gated communities) and my car and my wifes car were broken into. That said the doors were unlocked both times (I drive a convertible and dont lock my doors).Moving in can be a huge pain. If possible, use a pick up truck and trailer. Then you can drive right up to the elevator for your building. If its an in-town move Id make two trips this way over a single trip with a large moving truck.The pool is shaded the majority of the day and it can seem like a Vegas resort on summer weekends, but I generally considered that a positive thing.Im not sure if others have mentioned it but there can be a substantial amount of road noise from Riverside and the 35 access road. I ran a fan at night to mask the obnoxious sound of muffler-lacking hipster scooters.Fees and maintenance were par for the course. Management is not and never will be an important factor in my decision to rent an apartment, but I found management to be friendly, competent, and forthright.The reason youd want to move here is the balance between location, space, quality, and cost. It feels like downtown, but the square footage per dollar is much better. The boardwalk is right outside your door. Also its nice! Sure its not the Ritz, but most days it has the feel of a $200-300 per night hotel. The buildings are well constructed; I never heard the person above me. Last but certainly not least, theres potential for phenomenal views.

    I’ve been living here for 3 months and it has been good so far. I did have a good amount of maintenance issues but the maintenance team was very quick and good about fixing things in the apartment. Jennifer from leasing office is also super nice and helpful.

    I lived at Riverview for 3+ years and had a really good experience. The units are super nice, the amenities are high quality, the grounds are always well-kept, and the location is perfect for getting into downtown on foot or bike (entering and exiting by car is more difficult). Riverview also has the most impressive maintenance crew of any place I’ve ever lived- they’re lightning quick to respond and repair anything. And the front office crew put up with all of my outlandishness like professionals. They’d be the first to tell you I’m a tough person to please but they always made it work.I’d have renewed my lease a fourth time if life hadn’t changed. It was an especially comfortable place to spend those first few months of quarantine. Highly recommended.Thanks to Justin, Delma, Angeline, Ife, Mark, Raphael and everyone else for all your hard work.

    I have lived at Berkshire Riverview for about 2 years! I absolutely enjoy it :) I have been in Austin for 4 years and have lived at 2 other “luxury” lakeside apartment complexes. One thing that sets Riverview apart from the others is, consistency.Building/Landscape: When comparing to other buildings lakeside, take in consideration that Riverview has been around for years and other building were just built within the last 2-3 years. That being said, I do see them trying to renovate in order to keep up the appearance.Riverview has lots of greenery around the building (which I love). The dog park is a plus. I’ve only lived at 1 other apt who had so much landscape as well and they struggled to keep it up as well. So I would knock off points . I do see riverview trying to keep it up as much as possible!!Staff: Staff is very helpful and responsive. The 2 years I’ve been here, I have seen the same people which shows me they enjoy working for Riverview. And this is a plus, because you get to build a relationship or see familiar faces. Other places I lived at, they had like a 6 month turnover and trust me that is so difficult to deal with!!Amenities: Gym is small and pool loses sun early.Location: Walking distance to Rainey, minutes from downtown and ladybird trail in the back yard is a huge plus!!

    I have had a great experience living here thus far. The new management team has been really great and are working hard to make this living facility even nicer. The view is breathtaking and the closeness to the lake and downtown is extremely convenient. The only hassle was moving in since the moving trucks cannot fit into the garage.

    Great place to live! Honestly management is super helpful and actually get stuff done fast unlike other places Ive lived in. Maintenance takes care of issues immediately and the events they host for their residents are super fun. I had to move out because my roomate and I wanted similar size rooms and they didnt have any available at the time but I have every intention of looking again in a few months.

    I recently leased site unseen and moved into Riverview Apartments . Upon arrival , the office personnel was very helpful in showing me around. Once I docked the moving truck, they walked me through the best route of unloading my items. The apartment was very clean and the view amazing. The entire process was smooth. Highly recommended!

    I just moved in and I absolutely love living here. The leasing staff is excellent and has gone above and beyond to make me feel at home. Thank you to Delma, Justin, Angeline, and Ife for helping me with every step of the moving process! I truly feel at home, love my apartment, and love everything about the location. Also prices are very reasonable, and the building is super quiet and built to condo specs so I never hear my neighbors. I can’t say enough good things about this place seriously!

    This was a great place to live - super quiet (I virtually never heard my neighbors), great maintenance staff (everything was always done promptly and well), and great leasing staff (went out of their way for me multiple times, specifically Angeline the concierge girl). Also a great location as youre right by the river trails and everything else in Austin. Definitely recommend living here.

    Riverview Apartments has gone above and beyond with monthly events for their residents! I have attended many of the functions planned by the Apartment Life Team--everything from paddle boarding, game nights, pool parties, breakfast on the go, and yoga--and they have all been spectacular! The events are well advertised and always something different. They are also a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors. Just shows how much Riverview cares about their community.

    I recently relocated to Austin from the Dallas area. I looked at many properties throughout the city and Riverview had about 250 more square feet at a considerably lower price than the others I had visited. The amenities I was looking for were comparable and the staff has been amazing. They have been incredibly knowledgeable concerning the property and the area. There is a dog park onsite and my Rhodesian Ridgback has been very comfortable here as well. The location was perfect for my work and the things I wanted to do. And last, but not least, the view from my apartment is unbeatable. The greatest amenity is sitting on my couch overlooking the Colorado River and the beautiful downtown skyline. I couldnt be happier here.

    Cant beat location with this one. Amenities and appliances are the same as with any other apartment at this price range. The staff running the building/activities is the differentiating factor as they very friendly and energetic bust most important, resourceful. An additional perk is the the event planning team. They come up with frequent activities/parties/etc which are a nice way break the routine and meet neighbors.

    I really liked living here. My only complaint is they towed vehicles from my parking spot. I have different vehicles and they made it so only specific vehicles can park in your own parking spot. Because of this I left after 2 years. I would move back if I have 1 car.

    I would recommend Riverview Apartments to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and fun place to live in Austin! I moved from a South Lamar location, to rent a studio in Riverview for a better price, better location, and better amities!The staff- Justin, Delma, and Angeline are always pleasant to deal with and address any issues immediately. Maintenance requests are usually completed the same day!The location is perfect- close to downtown, on the river, and just a hop skip and a jump away from the highway.I have never heard another neighbor while living here! The CARES team has some fun events for residents to meet each other. The computer lab, coffee lounge, gym, and additional rooms are easily accessible and convenient! I would highly recommend this complex!

    Short Review: Very caring, understanding, helpful, and nice to families with young children. I would recommend living here. (Ife, Angeline, Delma, and the property manager (the property manager named Justin, are all great.Long Review:Beautiful Property With Very Warm and Proficient StaffRiverview Apartments are a great complex to live and has easy access to I-35, Downtown, and East Austin Hotspots. The staff is very respectful and friendly. Ife and Angeline are the two leasing staff I mainly communicated with and each of them goes out of there way to quickly answer questions and resolve issues.The complex manager Justin is a class act as well. He was very understanding when my family had to break out lease and move abruptly. The office was kind, respectful, and courteous to us from the day we came to tour until our final day as tenants.I forgot to mention all of the community events they throw for the residents. They are fun and help you meet your neighbors, which makes the feel/vibe of the complex more friendly and positive.I highly recommend Riverview for those of your having a hard time deciding which property to lease within the area.

    We are moving to Austin from MN and toured Riverview with IFE Ademola-Tobun as our leasing agent on 6/23/18. First, the Apartment Complex is outstanding for its maximum effort and green living and the location and condition of the buildings. Riverview is a terrific selection for people moving to Austin - It is situated right on the river and ~10 mile trail.Over several days we toured 15+ apartments. By far the best and most thorough tour was given by IFE. He spent great effort answering every question and has that special talent of making people welcome. If your are looking for a great place to live on the river - We highly recommend Riverside and suggest you make an appointment with IFE as your tour-leasing agent! Thank you IFE.
