    I’ve been at the Berkshires of Lakeway Apartments for almost 3 years now and I have had nothing but good experiences. Once I got the renewal, it was really easy to sign over another year here. I checked around the Lakeway area and a lot of other places have increased their prices way more in comparison to Berkshires. Compared to other apartments the management here has always gotten right back to me if I had any issues. I’ve heard about apartments around Lakeway that are not as efficient in getting back to their tenants. Also Berkshires is the only apartment complex in the Lakeway area that has townhomes.

    My wife and I really enjoyed living here. The few issues we had with our apartment (it was always AC) were fixed in a few hours at most by the maintenance crew that is on site, some of them even live on site. Management was easy to work with. The gym is awesome. The people around are great, but of course you get lucky with neighbors, we had great neighbors who were quiet at night. The trails around are great if you love walks. Overall, its just a great place if you are wanting to get out of the city for a while.

    I have been living here for almost three years. It is my home. I have enjoyed the view of the hill country and the trails but more importantly my place here. It’s quiet and anytime I need maintenance done, it’s gets done quick. Cortland who is the maintenance Manager is always friendly and approachable with any problem. He goes out of his way for you. He makes sure that the complex is clean and running well. I e enjoyed living here!!

    Berkshire Lakeway Apartments is exactly what we were looking for. It’s got everything we wanted, plus some.Our contact during our leasing experience was Markice. She was professional, personable and helped us find just the right apartment for us. She has always been available to us and eager to help with any questions we might have.We highly recommend this property!!

    I lived in the Berkshire Lakeway community for 9 mos. Their entire property management team is by far the best I’ve encountered. I’m not one to give glowing reviews online but it is certainly warranted in this case. Rebecca and her team are kind, professional and a true pleasure! Additionally, every maintenance request I ever lodged was solved faster than almost humanly possible. Cortland and his team work hard to maintain a top rate community, and go above and beyond in every instance.One of only many examples, I went out of town and accidentally left my top deadbolt locked. My pet sitter needed to feed my cat and only had the front door key. Within 30 min after calling (after hours on a weekend), the maintenance team had my garage door open so she could get inside.Besides the property staff, the community was secure, safe and everyone friendly as could be. The pool and other amenities are great and nearby to walking trails in the community.I give this apartment/townhome community my highest recommendation!!

    I love the staff at this location! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I’m awaiting my orders to move to Austin and I hope to move here. I sat down with the manager Mrs. Smith to discuss some options of potential move in dates and she took her time to explain everything to me and she just made me feel welcomed. Not to mention this apartment is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely recommend anyone to this apartment and I look forward to moving here.

    I HIGHLY recommend Berkshire Lakeway. I lived in Berkshire Lakeway for almost about 4.5 years. Beautiful quiet community. Most of the neighbors were families or retired residents. I have always felt safe being outside even late at night. There is a police officer on site to help as needed. The pool was never busy may be one or two families at the most. Management was GREAT and very responsive. During the winter storm, they jumped through hoops to get bottled water for residents who needed it. We didn’t lose power. We lost water for a couple of day, but even the hospital did, due to the nature of the hills. We were way less affected that many other areas in Lakeway. Rebecca is awesome. She is super friendly and provides exceptional customer service. The maintenance team are awesome. They resolve issues on the same day they get notified. Management always kept resident informed. The club house is beautiful and well maintained with indoor and outdoor seating and a great coffee bar. I moved to get closer to Austin to cut my commute. I moved to a brand new apartment building on SW, mid way between Lakeway and Austin, to get the best of both worlds. I totally regret it.

    From our first visit, we knew that Berkshire was going to be a great choice. The person who leased our apartment to us, Rebecca, is so personable and knowledgeable. They also have a resident team that organizes events. Being an adult new to a city, its hard to make friends, so these types of events are critical to residents feeling comfortable with their new home.When you tour the apartments, the tall ceilings are spectacular! Upon move-in, I was stunned at how clean the apartment was. It was far more clean than any other apartment or home weve encountered.Now lets talk maintenance. All of us have encountered a company or landlord that slacks on taking care of your maintenance needs. Not the case to Berkshire Lakeway. The maintenance crew shows up within 2-24 hours and takes care of business! Not only that, they do it with a smile!The amenities are nice and well-maintained. The only downside I have is that residents are unable to use the clubhouse when the sales office is closed. Most apartments allow residents to rent their clubhouses out for events, but here you are only able to use it during Berkshire-sponsored events. Obviously, thats not a deal-breaker, but that would be my only suggestion.

    I recently toured Berkshire Lakeway Apartments, and it exceeded my expectations. The apartments are stylish, functional, and feel like home. The amenities are impressive, and the staffs knowledge and friendliness made the tour enjoyable. Im seriously considering making this my new home—its a hidden gem!

    I have lived here for one month so far and have felt so at home. Starting at the beginning with my tour, Rebecca is one of the SWEETEST humans, so helpful, and responsive! Move in had no hassles whatsoever, they let you know everything you need in order to move in on the date you want. They have community activities each month to get to know your neighbors which is awesome and their maintenance men are on top of their game, quick, and so nice and helpful as well! If you’re a workout junkie like me, the gym is also fantastic. 10/10 recommend!

    This is a great place to live. The community team is incredible. My family was looking for a place to live in the area and looked at many different complexes. When we first came to Berkshire, we immediately knew that we wanted to live here. We were met by a wonderful, kind and professional staff of the residential complex, and immediately offered the most suitable apartment options for my family. My family and I live here not so long ago, but we are very happy to be here, very cozy, clean and comfortable. For any question or request, Berkshire staff respond quickly and professionally.     My husband and I have been living here at Berkshire Lakeway for a couple weeks now and could not be happier here! On top of the property being very well maintained, and priced well we have been very well taken care of by the office staff, particularly Markice. Markice has gone above and beyond for us with anything we could possibly need, making our move across the country to a new city and apartment much less stressful.     Since before we moved in here I have just been blown away with the management staff. Rebecca has gone out of her way to get us in here and make us feel welcome and secure. Any time we have a maintenance request, Cortland the maintenance supervisor arrives swiftly and just goes over the top to get it done quickly. Not to mention he is so kind and helpful. I am so excited to keep living at such an amazing place. It truly feels like home! :)

    I viewed this complex and wow let me just say that the staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns I had, specifically Karissa. The pool is also very nice, even has nice little shallow spots, dont even get me started on how nice the apartments are, super open and comfortable and very very homey! cant wait to become a resident in such a wonderful community!

    I recently toured here and I love it! The area it’s located in is safe and clean, similar to the apartments and recreational/communal areas. Everything and everyone was nice, tidy, and welcoming. I’ll definitely keep Berkshire in mind as I continue my apartment search!

    I want to thank the property manager Jureme and Markice the leasing agent for all the help they did for me when I did a transfer to another unit. They both work with me every second during the process. Anytime I had an issue during the process with my apartment I would let them know and they would send someone out to help right away or resolved it on the spot. I want to thank them truly for everything they’ve had done for me and has made living at the berkshire phenomenal my second year round. The management has truly been amazing and I hope they never leave because they’ve made re-signing my lease so much easier knowing that I have people that are willing to help at any minute.

    Great place to live! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Maintenance team is the best! Always quick to respond to calls and quickly resolve any issues. Amenities are top notch, clean and in great working order. Apartments have large rooms and appliances are first rate. We looked everywhere and this is the best place in the surrounding area!

    I moved in almost a month ago, and I am extremely glad I chose Berkshire. For starters, the application process was incredibly easy, and I must credit Rebecca and Michael for their part in making it all such a seamless process. They were so patient and kind with me and really helped me feel confident in my decision to move here. My apartment was very clean and the finishes make it feel very luxurious. The complex is quiet, the gym is awesome, and the location is great. Berkshire is just awesome and I am so happy to call it home!

    We loved Berkshire instantly after a home hunting spree. The move was quite quick. Its a lovely place, indeed Serene and big homes with adequate facilities.Its been a pleasure being here.The community is warm and the management and maintenance team has been very responsive.

    I have lived here for 5 years and have loved being here. The apartments are really nice and I love the fact that you don’t have upstairs neighbors in the townhomes. 2 of my neighbors have also been here for 5 years as well if that tells you anything. The staff of both the Mansions and Berkshire have been great! Very responsive to problems and emails that I have sent. I had some AC issues but they brought me 2 window units until it was fixed and were very helpful in getting my AC back in order. My fiancé and I are actually going to move into a 2 bedroom for 2 more years until our home is built. The only con is parking is hard to find for your friends and family but other than that, you will not be disappointed here.

    Love the Mansions of Lakeway! My family and I have lived here over two years now and can’t say nothing but GREAT things! Not only are you located in a great area and school district with spectacular views, but the consistency of staff, wine tasting events and promptness of maintenance is just a few words to brag about. My neighbor, but also my consultant who helped us from the beginning, Mr. Adrian Weeks has been with us from the very BEGINNING and has always been accommodating to me and my family! You must ask for him when checking this place out! The Mansions of Lakeway is an awesome place to live!

    We have enjoyed living here for 3 years. Our townhome is elegant and the amenities are amazing. You would think that would be enough but the best part of living here is the way the staff takes care of anything and everything we need. The office team (and they are truly a team) makes sure that any issues are handled in less than 24 hours. Adrian, Tracy and the rest of the team are always pleasant. The head of maintenance Richard and his amazing team respond to our service requests almost immediately. They are always gracious and kind.If you are looking for a more neighborhood style of living this the place to come.

    The location (Lakeway/West Hills) is beautiful and we love the easy access to hiking trails. The community is safe, well maintained, and all the residents are very quiet and respectful. Within the first few weeks, we made a few (minor) maintenance requests and they were resolved promptly. I would highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking for upscale apartment living in the Lakeway area.

    Honestly, this place has been absolutely THE GREATEST experience Ive ever had at an apartment! I have no words to adequately describe how incredibly, amazing Rebecca has been! She will work harder than anyone else Ive ever seen to get you what you need. Shes very pleasant and you feel like youve known her for forever. Shes an angel sent straight from above Im convinced. Michael is caring, funny, and efficient the few times Ive needed to go to someone else other than Rebecca. Oh and the maintenance staff are hands down, the best, most efficient guys Ive ever seen for maintenance at a complex. The neighborhood as a whole is peaceful and quiet and everyone I drive past has a smile on their face and a wave for you. Great place! Highly recommend it if you dont mind the drive.

    Angie, Adrain and the maintenance crew are the greatest! My experience in this community has been like no other. I really feel like most of the review complaints are simply out of the hands of the community or just poor luck from those individuals. Angie and Adrian were very thoroughly and honest with the cost, fees, and lease agreements. Which we love and appreciate, since we asked them like 1,000 questions. I do live in building 26 next to the Hwy, is it noisy? DUH but it was my choice and besides I dont mind it since I always have music/TV playing in the background which blocks the noise completely. The noise settles down after traffic hours if thats a concern. The walls are very insulated, I say that because my next door neighbor has a dog, my other neighbor has kids and I dont hear a thing through the walls! When we first moved in there were a couple of things that the apartment needed some attention on. There was a cut on the ceiling wall, a window and some cabinets were loose.(keep in mind it is a rental unit) I called Angie the next day not to complain but simply to notify the leasing office. Angie instantly put in a work order for me and told me that the maintenance crew was most likely going to fix it the next day. BUT the maintenance crew fix it that same day! THANK YOU GUYS!! So by the time I got home before 3pm the apartment was all fixed up! If your not from Austin/Lakeway then you dont know how much of a deal this complex is. For the same price of my lease I could of been stuck at a much worse apartment complex! Also, I received my first amazon package and it was not stolen. Thank you for making this year much better for us! - Emily D.

    The staff is the best! Very attentive to our needs. That is especially true of the management. Very well professtional. Adrian Weeks has been our rental professional from the beginning and he is awesome. He goes above and beyondvto be sure the tenants are taken care of. And dont get me started on the maintenance staff. Danny and Omar are the best at keeping our home clean and running smoothly that we have ever worked with. 10 stars for them.The food and fun events that are offered are amazing. An unexpected treat organized by the management.We have lived here two years now and we hope to stay here for many more years to come.All and all a 5 star experience for us.

    I had a pleasant experience leasing here. I needed an apartment quickly, as my current lease was up and the construction on my house being built had been delayed. I am building in Rough Hollow, and this apartment is in the same school district so it will be an easy transition for my kids once we move. I toured with Adrian and he worked with the urgency I needed. He really helped ease my nerves during an otherwise stressful time!

    I just moved into the community from out of state. After looking at all the options available (and there are many!) I choose the Berkshire Lakeway for three reasons.The properties themselves are very nice. The buildings are new. With high ceilings and beautiful floors. Subtleties such as recessed arches in the opening foyer of my townhouse make my space feel like a million bucks. There are really intelligent other features too, like the electronic closet which has a ethernet bus that can direct LAN to any room in the house. And recessed and integrated extension cords in the walls. Track lighting to boot. Its a very well engineered space with lots of little touches.The second reason was the delightfully friendly staff and neighbors. The staff who showed me around the place was very accommodating. Frequently following up with me via text through out the process - while I selected the unit I wanted. And the neighbors adjacent too me are quite nice.The third reason was due to the peripheral features available to residents. There is a well stocked gym in the club house which will be nice to use when COVID ends. As well as a great Starbucks coffee machine I have been taking of advantage of.I am delighted by my new place and look forward to the next 15 months.Would recommend. 5/5

    This quietly tucked away community off of the 71 is amazing. The staff is incredible, and it has a great 24 hour gym. Maintenance is incredible as well with timely response time. 100% recommend.

    The STAFF, is what sold me. Rebecca was so thorough with lots of information about the community. She was kind and considerate and took her time and the process was so simple.     I highly recommend leasing at this beautiful and luxurious property. Because I found my perfect home, I unfortunately had to properly break my lease. I cannot express how smooth this entire process has been for me and greatly appreciate how fast a new tenant was found! This could not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and creativity of the team here at the Mansions of Lakeway: Adrian, Angie, Vilissa, and Tracy! They are absolutely awesome.     Im a resident at The Mansions and I feel as if Im a part of a family here. The staff are courteous and polite, which sadly is a rarity these days, as well as proffessional. The maintenance service is impeccable, reaching the highest standards of timeliness and satisfaction. Their online hub is easy to navigate and allows for fast execution of requests, not to mention it allows for convenient online payments. The close proximity to the Galleria and less than 30 minute drive to the city makes this the perfect location for quiet living without being isolated from fun city events.

    I wanted to post a review on here to let other people know that The Mansions Lakeway no longer exists. The complex was purchased by Berkeshire. So the place is now called Berkshire Lakeway. We have new staff here now. The manager that we have now is Baileigh and she is very attentive and kind and is actually very pleasant to deal with. The vibe in the leasing office now is so different. It’s actually not unpleasant to have to go there now.I really do agree however with the reviews of the previous management here when it was still The Mansions Lakeway. They really did seem to put on a “see how nice we are here?” act for potential residents. And as several people have pointed out if you need anything after that initial visit then they really were pretty rude. It was definitely not a welcoming type of place.Also, the last review on here mentions safety issues. I don’t know about car break-ins here. I’ve not heard anything like that from my neighbors. BUT! THIS PLACE IS TRULY NOT FOR KIDS!!! There are so many people that drive WAY TOO FAST!! A lot of us are pretty unhappy about it. Not too long ago I was on the way back to my apartment after having checked my mail and I was nearly hit head on in the parking lot by a person coming off one of the little side roads here. I was going all of about 15 miles an hour and that guy was at least double that in a parking lot where people are trying to walk their dogs and where sometimes kids are out playing. And nobody here (meaning the ones hauling butt) seems to be concerned about the potential there is for a major tragedy. Aside from that, there is NOTHING here for kids on the grounds. Heck the old management constantly sent out “bad dog...er...residents” emails stating NO SIDEWALK CHALK. NO NO BAD PEOPLE. Despite KNOWING full well the car danger situation, they chose to ignore it and not address it to everyone but OMG! Sidewalk chalk! How horrifying! Incidentally there has not been a single bad resident email sent out since the new management has been here. You can ask any of the previous reviewers about the chiding constant emails! It’s really nice not being treated like a bad child anymore!!!!Anyway, don’t let the previous reviews scare you off now. It’s a whole new ballgame over here. These town houses are beautiful! They have some really really nice features. They’re beautiful on the inside and most units are above their own garage. Mine is like that but my neighbor’s garage is partially under my bedroom. It’s all good though since all garages are equipped with belt drive openers. I NEVER hear my neighbors garage opening or closing!Lastly a heads up for dog owners: there are no sidewalks here and the grassy areas are very small and really only at the ends of each building with the exception of the land around the complex perimeter. There are lots of bag/trash stations though.10-27-20 UpdateSo it looks like there may be plans in the works to find a solution for the speeding problem. Yay!

    A very nice apartment complex with gym, community center and salt water pool. I will admit the application process was challenging. Maintenance staff is awesome.

    I have visited this property multiple times due to a friend lives there. Awesome front office folks along with a friendly and attentive maintenance staff. If I didnt own a home I would rent here. Beautiful property
