Really just want to commend this place for keeping their property in order. Love that it’s always so pleasantly landscaped and the grounds kept so clean. They are always attentive and there is one girl in the leasing office who is just so kind. Amaya is always smiling and friendly. I’ve been in places where all the employees just looked so unhappy. This is a welcome change

For now I’m giving Berkshire a 5. Leasing office staff are very friendly. Repairs are made incredibly quick, so far next day after submitting request. Parking has been good. It’s also very quiet and I feel safe. It’s also very clean. I noticed a spill and hours later it was gone. Happy to be here.

I have to say this experience here has been great !!! Tano is amazing!!! He has been soooooo patient and accommodating since Ive been here a year and a half ago . The property is clean and welcoming. Good price and facilities. Pet friendly, 24 hour gym is a huge plus!!!!

Berkshire Amber is a super nice apartment complex. I love the wood floors, kitchen and huge sink, bathtub as well as the super large closet. It feels more like a house to me and is the newest apartment complex I’ve ever lived in! The garden and pool areas are really beautiful. I lived in the complex for a few years when it first opened in 2015 and moved back last year. It’s also in a great area close to Belt Line Road, the Tollway and Addison Circle Park on the other side. The new Silver Line DART rail will also be opening in the next year or so and will have an on/off location nearby which will be very handy for anyone who wants to ride the DART rail and whenever you need to go to/from the DFW Airport. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommend!

I recently moved into Berkshire Amber Apartments , and I couldnt be happier with my decision. The staff here is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any concerns or questions. Moved in December of 2023. I love the maintenance and property has been great.im having problems with theft on property. My tail lights that are $3,300 from the dealership were stole. and i have reached out to the leasing office by phone to reach a manager to address this issue. I did not receive a call within 2 weeks. I went down 2 weeks later and spoke to a leasing agent about this and was told he was out of town and that he would call me. Still never received a call or email. This is a frustrating and hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Since this happen no one has parked in these spots as frequently so I’m sure I’m not the only one.Love the property, just would like to have some manager assistance about these kinds of issues.

Berkshire Amber has been an amazing complex for me and my roommate! This has been my 2nd apartment since moving to DFW and the management and Amaya have made our move in process a great experience. We had difficulty securing the unit we originally signed for, and Amaya was able to help us move into a unit temporarily while figuring out how to get us into the original unit. Although this process was less than ideal, the management handled the process very well! The amenities are amazing and the complex is very clean and well managed. We love our new unit, and are very excited to live here. The only con I would have is that the transition to a new rent payment system is a little wonky, so communication with the office on payments and credits needs to be frequent and well communicated, however the office is very responsive about these matters!

I lived in this property for 2019-2022. Overall, I love the property, maintenance staff was very prompt on repairing things in your individual unit. Loved my layout and the overall finishes of the apartment, never heard neighbors and no bugs. Loved that they had community events for residents: omelette stations, food trucks etc. pool always maintained and clean. Great location, literally everything is in the area within 10 min.Cons: rent increase in 3 years to (total of $600), management turnover was high, elevators would have the occasional dog feces, garage trash would be overfilled at times, I heard that move out charges were over Market price ex: $20 for a lightbulb. Super excessive. If you have an issue you have to go in-person to the leasing office, emails tend to go over looked but they do handle it in person.Overall Berkshire Amber is a chill complex not many issues, make sure you plan for move out fees, but overall you’re good.

I moved to these apartments in March, so its been 7 months. The application process was very straightforward, Bri was amazing getting everything done and she was very communicative of the whole process.I received my apartment, which I had signed even before even seeing it, as it was not available, and really liked eveything about it. Very well cared for, and I have not had any issues since I moved in.The trash schedule is sometimes a bit late, but Ive never had any issues with trash collection.Things I love about my apartment (2 bedroom, 2 bath B2 layout):- In very good conditions- It is very quiet, I disagree with other comments from other reviews: I cant hear my neighbors to the sides, above or below, which is pretty nice.- Very nice balcony- Appliances are pretty new and in very good conditions- Hard wood floors in living room areaIve had maintanance done twice: once on my tub and a second time on my windows. Both people who came and fix stuff were super nice, very professional and got the job done very fast without any issues.Things I like about the ammenities:- Gym is open 24/7, and almost every machine works properly, we just had some incidents with one of them that needs some love, but overall, the gym is equipped with what I need to train weights and do cardio.- Pool: only downside is you can only bring two people to the pool, but I also consider this positive, as its not loud, noisy or disturbing the neighbors.- Nice area to play pool, and meet with friends.- Grills available on the pool and another very nice area for gatherings-Firepit that comes pretty inhandy during cold weather.- Hallways are kept pretty clean and the complex is in pretty clean conditions, love that.Downsides:1. I would really love to see more reinforcement of fines to people who dont care for their dogs. The walking areas are always full of pet waste, and the dog park too. This is not necessarily the complexs fault, but we definitely need more surveillance around the complex to make sure people are responsible and pick up their dog waste. If we could add a camera on the dogpark to catch all the people who are not respecting the rules, that would be a GAME CHANGER.Overall, I definitely would recommend anyone who is looking to rent here. My experience has been better than I expected (Ive heard horror stories from other apartment complexes). So very lucky to have found this place.

Lived here at Amber for 4 years now going on 5. This man posted letters about his vehicle in the garage. I can tell you this is the best apartment I’ve lived in since moving to Dallas in 09. Management is always on point, entire staff and maintenance is always on point. Unfortunately, the catalytic converter crisis in the US grew over the last few months and they are targeting everywhere. Amber has top tier measures to ensure safety and prevent crime to the best of their abilities. Not sure what happened with this man to post such a terrible review on a WONDERFUL property.

We were the 20th resident to move into this complex. They had only finished constructing the front half of the building. Since weve lived here, we got married, and had a child. We transferred to a bigger apartment when we needed more room. The Berkshire staff, especially the management, have been amazing every step of the way. They have been flexible when we needed it, and even forgave us a couple of times when we messed up. Now we are starting a new chapter, in a new city, and are very sad that we have to leave our home here at Berkshire Amber. It really has been the best place to live!

The property itself didnt reflect the personality we are looking for, but Jared absolutely did.

Maddie French, the manager at Berkshire Amber is by far the best apartment manager I have ever had! I have lived in 4 different apartment buildings over the last 6 years and have never had such immediate and professional correspondence with the front office! Maddie and her team are responsive and so friendly to their residents! Ive never seen a staff care so personally for each resident and make it a wonderful place to live. I cant recommend this apartment and staff enough!!! When looking to lease with Berkshire Amber, you absolutely need to call and ask for Brandon he is amazing!!!

You know, the majority of those bad reviews involve parties outside of the apartments control so the 3 stars this place averages seems unfair.I have only good things to say about this place. Everything about the apartment has a modern feel and is built out with really nice quality appliances, very clean carpets, and great water pressure. Brandon in the Leasing office is the abosolute BEST and made the process very easy, even when a few minor hiccups arose. He truly cares about helping the residents here and always provides prompt follow ups to any questions or needs I had while deciding and securing my apartment. I’m also happy to add that the community is clean and very peaceful.

The team, Daniel Fowler, Assistant Manager and Poonam Patel, Leasing Consultant are fabulous. When I first moved here it was a new experience for me. They made ever step easy and positive. I have lived in a one bedroom on the pool to a top floor two bedroom. They made everything happen and supported me through the process. I have to shout out to the team that maintains the property. They are courteous, hard working and kind. They have always answered my questions and made my time here safe and welcome. Guests always are impressed with our commons areas and our guest bathrooms. We have enjoyed living here. We have never had any issues with maintenance or parking. There is always parking somewhere in the garage, and you are always relatively close to an elevator if you dont get to park on your floor (which is rare). We have also never gotten a ticket in the garage.Additionally, the front office is very accommodating and is quick to help. Ive never had a bad interaction with any of the leasing/management staff.

I really love my apartment. All the office staff are sweet and nice. One day, I was at work and can’t sign the new sofa delivery. Daniel, the property manager who helped me to carry my new sofa to 4th floor and placed it at the living room with my permission. I really thank him and Aura Apartment Service. I don’t have any parking issues, parking is free and convenient. I definitely will stay here, especially this lovely place is very near from my work place. :)

The customer service by the front desk is exceptional. Not only did they hold furniture deliveries for me before I moved in but they also helped me a year after I moved out when a package accidentally got delivered there by mistake. Poonam intercepted the package from the mail person and helped re-ship the package to me at my new address. I was pleasantly surprised that they would do that for me, especially when I was no longer living there. Jared in the front office is AWESOME!!!! I live at the property next door (Berkshire Auburn) and for some reason when I order anything to be delivered it ends up at Berkshire Amber. Well one of my packages went into the lockers at Berkshire Amber and its really frustrating when delivery workers do not pay attention and basically incipience me by just giving my packages away to a completely different complex. I have all my notes on everything I order specifying that my complex is AUBURN and still seems to be a common issue. Jared was so helpful with retrieving my package and I could not be more grateful! My rating is for Jared.

Me and my wife moved in here a year ago. It was our first apartment together and the sales consultant Jon Chamberlain helped us get everything in order and even got the first month free. Since the buildings second half and the old age home next to the building was still under construction there was a lot of noise for our first 6-7 months unfortunately, but we did not mind it and we still enjoyed our stay.The apartment was set up perfectly and nothing was out of place except for our water heater that had a broken element. Had to take a few cold showers, but maintenance came and fixed it immediately every time we had issues. Our other maintenance requests were handled promptly and we never required to put in another request for the same problem. The walls do tend to carry sound quite a bit, as well as, the halls when neighbors walk past the front door.The parking situation for the complex is definitely wanting and management unfortunately only started taking it seriously the last month of our lease with enforcement of towing if cars did not have parking permits. We lived on the first floor and if me and my wife went out to dinner and came back after 7pm there would be absolutely no parking except for on the fourth floor. You can reserve a parking spot that will run you about $50/month, but those are also limited and will put you on a waiting list if there are not any. Honestly, I thought it was a little expensive for a parking spot, but the complex runs a little high, in my situation, as it is considering the amount of space you will get for your money.This is definitely not the place for you if you are just starting out and you are trying to find a place to start a new chapter in your life otherwise if you got the money to spend then its the opposite. You definitely get want you pay for with the style and professionalism of the staff. The only thing I would say is be very careful with who you ask when you ask important questions. In my case, I asked a sales consultant a question and did not get a complete answer for that question that cost me quite a bit of money. Granted it is not their job to know the rules of my lease that I need to read carefully and thoroughly before I sign, it is still in my opinion a long shot if you do not ask the property manager or Jon the important questions. If you are going to rent a storage unit from here just know that you will be paying for it for the rest of your lease term even if you empty it out and tell them you are not using it anymore which is also a fact that the sales consultant that set it up for me failed to mention. The sales consultant we would like mention that gave us exceptional service is Tiffany Baker. This woman is always friendly and definitely goes beyond in serving any need you might have. Overall me and my wife had an unforgettable first year at this apartment complex and will definitely remember the good times here.
