I lived here for 2 years and recently moved due to a job relocation. I miss it a lot. I’ll list the Pro’s and Con’s.Pros: Very convenient location within walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars, and stores(target is right across the street). I LOVED living downtown and being able to bike to the Trinity, then maybe grab a bite to eat and a coffee. It is far enough away from 7th that you don’t have to deal with much chaos from that side, but close enough that you could walk there if you wanted to get rowdy lol. My apartment was the perfect size for me, a single 30 something with a dog. They are very dog friendly, there’s a dog park right across from the front office and it’s very walkable area. My apartment had a great view of downtown Fort Worth and overall the apartment was very nice and well kept, never had an issues with pests, etc. The few times I had issues with my a/c in the summer, the maintenance team was very prompt to get it fixed. We did have quite a few burst pipes that ended up in them having to turn the water off but that was typically during the day when everyone was at work anyway. My neighbors were unproblematic and quiet and very understanding of my dog who would bark sometimes. The front office had plenty of community events including their big pool party in the summer. I’ll miss gathering on the top floor of the parking garage every July 4th to watch the fireworks with all my neighbors. There was a sense of community but also people were respectful of your space.Cons: You’re living downtown, next to a bus stop, so there are a few homeless people who frequent the area. I often saw Amazon packages torn open on the sidewalks assuming from the townhomes, so if you rent one of those, just be prompt in getting your packages and get a door cam. Some of the frequent flyers would hassle me when I’d go walk my dog, one guy who is clearly not in his right mind would often be seen talking to himself or screaming or even sleeping on the sidewalk. This was a big draw back for me but I’m also a single woman and I was outside a lot to walk my dog. This is also just common living in a city or urban area nowadays unfortunately, so I’m not sure there’s much that Aviator could do about it. Another con was that on the weekends you occasionally would have some noise from people coming home drunk from the bars. That’s just normal I guess and wasn’t too rowdy. Once I had to yell down at some people and ask them to be quiet cause it was driving my dog and me crazy. They immediately settled down and said sorry, lol. So at least everyone was friendly and respectful. I guess the only other con is the garage gate was always broken, mostly cause people would ram it I guess? Once the arm came down on top of my friends car LOL but there wasn’t any damage. Idk, the parking garage is also pretty small and people drive fast and don’t stay in the lanes so I did scrape the side of my car on the corner once cause I was trying to scoot by a car that was driving in the middle. Def not a garage for big trucks or big SUV’s. I never once had issues with towing and I had friends over all the time, and even some overnight guests, once the guest forgot to register their car and it was fine in the morning. It’s a hassle to register but any apartment complex these days is going to have something like that, unfortunately. Another thing is There really needs to be a stop sign put up next to the dog park and the front office because more than once I almost got hit walking my dog because some crazy woman speeding through that turn almost hit me. I wouldn’t really recommend living here if you have kids or a family, there were a few families I think but overall it was mostly younger professionals who didn’t have kids, which is an aspect I really enjoyed.

I have enjoyed my 4 year experience of living at Aviator West 7th. The staff members are always polite, pleasant, and accommodating. The amenities are easily accessible and well kept.I love the convenience to all the area restaurants and retail shops.

Great price for the location it is downtown. One of the main reasons we renewed our lease was because of CHARLES AND JAMES! 🫶🏽 we will miss them a lot! Anytime we needed anything maintenance wise, they would be there. Those men deserve a raise!! Literally the best.The pool is large and it’s a quick walk to everything. Good gym. You’re basically getting what you pay for here. We never once had a problem with roaches or pests either. However, one of the biggest downsides was that the gate to the parking garage was pretty much never working. Also, the garage is very narrow and we had many times in which other cars almost hit us while turning down. But one could always park on the street for free if they want to.

Friendly and inviting place to call home!

I moved from out of state, arriving to Aviator after a long solo road trip. Gary and Charles were a huge help. I shipped items ahead of time and they placed everything neatly in my apartment for when I arrived (photo of how I found my items attached). During move in there was a dolly I could borrow that saved a ton of time.Now that I’m moved in, the community is clean, quiet, and feels safe despite being close to downtown. Target is walking distance away along with a bunch of other stores and restaurants.Moving here has been a great decision, thanks to the aviator staff for all of the help!!

Been living here for 6 months and we absolutely love it! The location is perfect there’s so many things to do around here. The apartments are beautiful and the pool view is amazing to wake up to. The leasing office is always super friendly and helpful. There is also a lot of events they plan so you really feel like a community. The parking garage is a huge plus! Overall a great place to live in to really enjoy yourself!

We have lived here for about a month and have not regretted it in the slightest. We peppered Charles, Gary, Jennifer and Emily with questions left and right as we prepared for our transition and they never faltered and were always ready to help. The neighbors we have encountered have all been friendly, and our dog is acclimating well, to boot. Any issues we have encountered have been quickly remedied and we look forward to what the next year, here, brings us!Update: over 2 months in and still no regrets! Weve met and talked to more of our neighbors here than we did in 20 years at our old house! The community is awesome and we look forward to meeting even more of our neighbors!

The entire process was seamless and stress free, Charles and Marvin were such a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to answer all my questions. I made the decision to move into Aviator and in less than a week, I had keys to my new apt. I couldn’t be happier with my new apt and the entire complex. I’d highly recommend!

I moved to this area to be closer to my school. Gary and Charles were the leasing specialists that helped me during my wonderful tour of the apartment complex. This complex has great amenities like a saltwater pool and gym. They’re very pet friendly, which was a necessity for me as I was trying to move in with my cat. Montgomery Plaza is also right across the street from the complex making shopping for groceries, clothes, or pet supplies super easy. Out of the 3 apartments I toured this was my favorite and I was able to move in within a week or two. Overall it’s a pretty nice place to be 😊

I have lived here for the last 6 months and it has been one the best complexes I have ever lived at. The staff is incredible, so quick and helpful. The amenities are top tier, I love the pool are and gym. Do wish the club house stayed open later because I never get to enjoy it due to my work schedule. It also the best location, I moved here from Idaho and it has been great getting settled into Texas with this being so close to everything. Highly Highly recommend living here. Also they do so many fun activities and events for the residents!

This is a great apartment complex! I have lived here for a year and I love it. It is a well maintained place to live. The pool is beautiful and the gym has plenty of equipment. My maintenance requests are always finished in a timely manner. The parking garage is great as well. It is close to many shopping centers and in the perfect location of Fort Worth.

Im not surprised how many good reviews there are on here about Aviator and their leasing staff because Im here to add another one!Moving is stressful for everyone but Im so thankful to have worked with Gary who went above and beyond in taking care of me. The tour was great. Every single phone call was answered. Every single email was responded to (and trust me, I sent SEVERAL lol). His professionalism, superb communication, and exuberantly helpful personality is one of a kind. I also appreciate Emily who stepped in towards the end and got everything squared away. If I had written this review a year ago, this would have been an easy 5 star review. I’m not a reviewer — typically if I have a bad experience somewhere I keep walking, but this warrants a review to caution any potential renters.Recently the Aviator has partnered with a predatory tow company and resident’s and their guest’s cars are getting towed on just about a daily basis. Before you say this kind parking enforcement sounds like a good thing, keep in mind parking has NEVER been an issue here. In my entire time living here, I nor anyone else I’ve spoken to who lives here, has ever had any issues finding parking(we literally have a parking garage with empty levels of parking and an elevator), yet this is what the Aviator has decided is their number 1 priority. I’ve had my catalytic converter stolen and my car broken into and I’m far from being the only resident that has happened to and now we can add “constant threat of the office towing my vehicle” to that list of concerns.My girlfriend (who is a resident and on the lease) mistakenly swapped two of her license plate numbers on the site that they make you register your vehicle on and the office promptly had her car towed with no sympathy whatsoever. With $420 fee and a trip to the shady part of Fort Worth 20 minutes away, we finally got her car back.When I moved here 2 years ago, the staff was always super helpful and treated me the same as when I was a prospective renter, but none of that staff still works here anymore. Most of the new staff seem insincere and disinterested in helping. I will say maintenance here is top notch and I have nothing but good things to say about maintenance and the groundskeeper staff.I’m not being over dramatic when I say that I have a constant fear of going out to my car only to find it gone — not because it was stolen, but because it was towed. If the Aviator cares about their residents, they sure have a funny way of showing.**UPDATE** Aviator reached out to me in an attempt to remedy my complaints. I do appreciate the effort and even though they weren’t able to make me whole, I do have to reevaluate all pros and cons together. The location is great and I’ve not had any issues with the units themselves. I am going to leave one star off as much of what I said above stands, but I do appreciate them making an effort.

Nice place to call home! I absolutely love this apartment complex. The office staff and maintenance staff is extremely helpful. They solve any issues within few hours or even minutes.They do great job on keeping place clean. There are a nice gym and swimming pools...I like their option with storage units which is perfect for my needs. There is only one minus with the sound insulation. I can hear my neighbor above talking, walking and vacuuming... however it depends on the neighbor. I didn’t have such issue before when I was in a different apartment a couple years ago... despite of this I still highly recommend Aviator.

I’m currently 6 months into my lease and have really enjoyed living here.The building is well maintained and clean; there are a few pet owners that don’t pickup after their dogs, but you’ll experience that at any complex. I haven’t had to open many maintenance request, but the few times that I did, they were taken care of the next day. The amenities are great. The gym just got new flooring put in and the saltwater pool is always clean.The location is GREAT! There is a public park across Foch Street. The gated dog park just opened back up (was closed due to COVID). Montgomery Plaza is just on the other side of Carroll St. Trinity Park/Trinity Trails is about 0.5 mile walk from here. Restaurants and bars (once reopened) are also within walking distance.Overall, I would recommend this complex to anyone.Katie, in the leasing office, is very helpful and super nice. I would recommend asking for her to help you move in.

Absolutely absolutely BLOWN away with the customer service and home feel of this apartment complex. My boyfriend and I are moving into the Fort Worth area from North Carolina for work. We had such a long day searching for apartments and they just weren’t hitting home like this place did. The facilities are top notch and very modern, the prices are reasonable and the location is to die for. Walkable to bars, restaurants and shopping! We decided to apply for an apartment the same night we toured the property and went back the next day to walk the entire layout. We also went back with a list of questions and once again they were very accommodating. I have faith that our questions were taken to heart and we will be taken care of in the long run! It’s incredibly beautiful and we truly can’t wait for our time at this complex! I have very high hopes!!I have to take a moment to speak about Katie, the leasing consultant. She is a ROCKSTAR! She was so informative, personable and such a kind soul! She really personified the definition of customer service!! She made us feel at home and very comfortable leaving with more than enough knowledge to make our decision. She truly is one of the best!!

Good location and amenities. Id be careful to visit the apartment before applying, as I ended up with one way darker than I thought it would be. Other than that, the place was awesome! I was worried about noise but so far everyone is very respectful and not too loud. The work order requests do take some time, but the maintenance guys are really nice and helpful.

Lived here for almost 5 years, between 2 different units. The staff really tries their best to solve any issue you have. Maintenance was always speedy with repairs. The location is so perfect tucked back behind West 7th, and right next to a Target. Incredibly walkable area, backs up to a park. Great place to live!

Coming up on 2 years and couldnt be happier. The amenities are fantastic, the staff are friendly and have addressed the very few issues that have come up quickly, and are always willing to help where they can. Additionally, they consistently have community events and do a great job communicating with the residents.I relocated to Fort Worth for work and looked at well over 15 apartments before choosing Elan West 7th and have never second guessed that decision.Take the time to look here if you are in the market. you wont be disappointed.

The facility is really nice, the service is less than exceptional. Being that covid has made everything weird for everyone, I had patience at first for lack of organization at the office. They didn’t have all of our keys ready. We didn’t receive an inventory or discrepancy form, we had to ask for it days after the move. We rented a storage unit and they didn’t return our key after making copies (we had to leave all of our stuff in the unit overnight and unlocked). I moved in with two other roommates and we left boxes and some trash from the move outside of our door for A DAY with intentions of taking care of it on our own. It took them days to get us keys and only hours for an email with a photo and a warning to be fined already.The apartment itself is really nice, but it wasn’t as clean as I would have expected. There were beard hairs in the drawer in the master bathroom and the washer ruined $100 worth of sheets and a bunch of clothes from what looked like left over oil.When I called the office to let them know we aren’t very happy with the service Stephanie answered and wasn’t helpful. She’d “personally never had a washer do that” and suggested I make a maintenance request.Overall, we have not felt very welcomed. Being that we are in a quarantine, home takes on a different meaning and should feel like home.Other staff (Katy) have been very sweet and helpful.....Salina, the manager contacted us and took care of our complaints as well as addressed the issues we had. I was very impressed by her response. Overall my family and I love living here and would recommend this complex.

My fiancé and I love living here!! The maintenance team completes requests quickly. The leasing office is pretty friendly - weve only had one small issue, but things have been cordial. They have a nice pool & the crowd is mostly mid 20s to early 30s, or so Ive seen. Not too far from the bars on W 7th, so its a nice short walk. Also conveniently placed next to Target!! Id live here over any other places nearby for sure.

Its been over a month since I started living here and I must say that am loving it here! My interactions with the staff here has been relatively good and Justin was polite, clear and made my move in extremely comfortable. The amenities are top notch and the location is just perfect. Although its just off of West 7th, its a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I am glad I chose to live at Elan West.

I waited two weeks to write my review since moving in. I went and saw three different apartment in the downtown ft worth and I was sold on this one. I really wanted a studio style apartment (got inspired after all my Marriott visits). Elan West 7th was the best choice for me. First of all, Jenifer Gomez was perfect from day one. If people actually read this, I think a bonus for her would be nice. haha The neighbors here are really friendly. I dont think I have ran into anyone here that didnt introduced themselves. Of course living in downtown ft worth comes with a price; I think Elan West 7th makes an effort to make their place feel like home in all they do. Who doesnt enjoy a free bottle of water after a 2 mile run at the gym? Also, had an issue that was addressed promptly and by that, I mean the same day.I seriously cant say enough good things about this place. If you are considering living downtown ft worth and have the budget for it, you should look no further than this place.CONS: This is not the apartment fault but owners with dogs that do not clean after their dogs along the patch of grass along the side of the building.

Aviator West 7th is a fantastic apartment option located right downtown in the heart of Fort Worth. Whether it’s visiting downtown, West 7th shopping, restaurants, TCU, or the Stockyards you are no more than 10 min away from all of this! The staff is great as well and very responsive to all inquiries. There’s constant communication and even fun parties and giveaways that make for a great community feel. Also very dog friendly as you are right next to a park, the Trinity river, and their very own dog park. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for apartments in Fort Worth!!

It has been a great experience at Aviator! It is the best location with being walking distance from Target and Tom Thumb along with a lot of restaurants. In addition, the staff is very understanding and receptive to feedback along with resolving apartment issues.

My girlfriend and I are moving to the DFW area and we came across this absolute hidden gem of a community. I am not one to submit reviews but I was so impressed I simply have to. Katie the leasing specialist was both personable and informative showing us the diverse amenities the community has, but it was her welcoming spirit that also drew us in. Exemplifying the warmth and down to earth kindness indicative of Texas we were blown away. The community is perfectly nestled in the Linwood neighborhood just a short walk from a plethora of eats and drinks, shopping, and local charm. Of the many places we toured in the area, it was Aviator West 7th that earned the gold not just for the incredible location and conveniences, but for the exceptional people as well. Thank you!!

This place is awesome I literally have no complaints. Like many of you I worry about noise levels at night but I can honestly say that I haven’t had any problems at night. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and brunch places. If you want an a great apartment in a prime location this is your place!

Big shout out to Leo with the maintenance crew, submitted my work order for the A/C system coils being iced over. He quickly diagnosed the problem, the coils thawed out. Leo then checked the freon in the system and it was low. Everything is working properly now.Thanks again

Iv been with elan for two years and it is like living on vacation! The grounds are always clean and the management staff are always quick to respond to issues. Salina was extremely helpful in finding the perfect unit. Literally ZERO complaints!
