    My new LG Dryer was getting an error code D80 which means my dryer vent had 80% blockage. I contacted West Houston and got a quick response. They were on time, professional, and easy to work with.     Wow! This company impressed me from the beginning. I love supporting a veteran owned and operated business and this one really delivered. I got an appointment right away for clogged dryer vent. Technician was very thorough and professional and took the time to do the job right. Very communicative during the whole process and price was reasonable.     I tried going through American Home Shield to send a contractor to troubleshoot why my dryer was not working, but the representative they sent was uninterested in anything besides physically repairing the physical dryer and left before providing additional options.I Googled and West Houston Dryer Vent Cleaning came up, well-reviewed but with fewer reviews than I am generally comfortable with. They came through in a big way, both scheduling a same-day inspection and completing the necessary repairs. I also appreciated that they told me what was inside/outside of their scope before just showing up at the house (possibly missing equipment and tools, which Ive seen before). Id absolute use them again.

    This company is awesome! I called for service after another company cleaned my dryer vent. After the other company cleaned the dryer vent and after we replaced our new dryer with a different dryer, we were still having issues. The other company was scheduled to come back to check but I was really concerned that the tools they use would not be able to get our dryer vent fully cleaned. Therefore, I called West Houston Dryer Vent. I called after business hours but the owner returned my call. Although they were already booked the following day, he actually offered to come out to my home and check out the issue (no fee) even though I arranged the first company to come back. He was so extremely helpful and walked me through all the things that should have been done and he did them as well. The fact that Joel did this without even knowing us shows how much he cares about ensuring folks get the right service. For any future dryer vent work, I will certainly call West Houston Dryer Vent and I will be informing all of my friends, family and neighbors of this great company!

    Excellent service. The owner came personally to my home. He was on time. Fully explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. Fully explained his unconditional warranty and told me not to hesitate at all to call (he really meant it too).He stuck to his quote. This is an honest man running an honest company.     I started experiencing some problems with my dryer and upon some research found out it was likely a clogged dryer vent.I called West Houston Dryer Vent after seeing all their great reviews.Joel came out to my house and was extremely nice and honest.He cleared the vent, then explained to me that if this ever happened again it was an easy DIY project because of the way my dryer was setup.He did not charge me anything, yet still took the time to make sure my dryer was working.Would highly recommend hiring this company as they are extremely honest and professional!

    We thought we had a major problem with a broken dryer duct in the attic. Joel came out, took one look and had it patched up in 5 minutes. He didnt even charge me... I offered, but he said minor problem dont worry about it. Joel is an honest no BS guy.... Rarity when in comes to home repair services! Call him if you need dryer service, youll get an honest company that wont jerk you around!! I would recommend to anyone and will use his service if any other issues arise.

    This is a very good, professional and cheap service I would highly recommend.I had a wonderful experience with Joel- the technician who came out. He was awesome!The technician was right on time (and even called ahead bc there was a chance he could be late)He was very professional and quick. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes.And the best part, he charged me only half of what they said it would probably be on the phone! He was upfront, honest, and didnt overcharge.Best of all, he showed me maintenance I could do, to prevent the problem and not have to pay to have him come back out to fix it again!

    Wanted to give a shout out to Joel and company, awesome group of people who truly cares. I gave Joel a call for cleaning and due to circumstances he squeezed us in the very next day. During the visit, the information conveyed was very informative and we now understand just how important it is to keep these vents clear and clean especially living in Houston were the summer heat just adds to the possible fire hazard. Remember when looking for service companies that price is not everything, its the people and professionalism they provide that lets you sleep better at night.

    Excellent service from West Houston Dryer Vent! The first of the year we unfortunately got a rip-off dryer vent company out here, and they ended up doing more damage than good.     Joel from West Houston Dryer Vent Cleaning company came out to my house today and solved my dryer vent problem--something that another duct cleaning business could not do. Four weeks ago, I hired a company, referred by a subcontractor, to clean the duct from my dryer, through the second story, to the roof where it vents. The company came in, was here 30 minutes and said its clear.First load of permanent press clothes took 4 cycles to get damp dry. Gave up and hung clothes all over the house. I paid the company a healthy fee and they couldnt figure out the problem.West Houston Dryer Vent Cleaning was recommended to me by a Samsung repair rep and he said Joel was the best. Thats what I needed. And the rep was right. Joel is the best! He responded quickly, came in and assessed the situation, and said its one of two things. It was and he fixed it quickly and charged me MUCH LESS than the other company!!!Joels approach was to tackle and solve my problem. And he did. He didnt just come over to clean a duct and leave. He looked at the total picture and I knew before he left that I wasnt going to have 4 weeks of running a dryer 4 cycles to dry every load of clothes--which is what the first company left me with. He warranties his work for 6 months which is commendable and shows that he knows what he is doing.I have the utmost respect for his abilities and will be utilizing his company yearly as I dry large amounts of blankets, sheets, towels and dog bedding.

    Our new LG dryer flow vent sensor showed a 95% airflow blockage. Just 4 months previously we had paid to have the vent cleaned and were told there was a crook in our vent between the 2nd and 3rd floor which he could not get through. West Houston Dryer was highly recommended by Village Plumbing. Their technician Kevin arrived 15 minutes early and after removing a lot of wet lint blockage told us to run the air only cycle for an hour or two. After two successful dryer loads the flow sensor came back on. True to their 6 month guarantee, Kevin returned 3 days later without charge, and worked on it until the blockage finally let loose, due to his previous visit suggestion to run the air only cycle that dried out the wet lint blockage just enough for their powerful vacuum to clear the vent. Kevin was professional, personable, courteous and would not give up as others had. I highly recommend West Houston Dryer as a business with the right tools, ingenuity, determination to deliver the highest customer satisfaction and stand behind their 6 month warranty, no questions asked. Nothing short of what you would expect from a veteran owned and operated company.

    Very terrific experience with this company. They performed dryer vent cleaning a few months ago after an appliance repair company said that a dirty vent was causing my thermal fuses to overheat and fail. Joel (the owner) did the vent cleaning himself. Fast forward to this week and the thermal fuses failed again (older dryer by the way) and again was appliance repair company said that a dirty vent was the cause. Joel again cam out right on time as the appointment was set for and confirmed the vent was clear. No charge for his time trouble, wow you dont find that kind of service much any more these days. I am now in the market for a new dryer but am confident that my vent remains clean.     One word to describe Joel, the owner of West Houston Dryer Vent - amazing! I am surprised that honest people like him still exist in the business world. When I found out I had a vent issue and not a dryer issue, I called West Houston Dryer Vent (after seeing all of their positive reviews). On the phone I explained what was happening and Joel knew right away what the problem was. He told me how I could easily fix it so that I wouldnt have to pay to have one of his guys come out for a 5 minute job. In a world where people are constantly cheating and lying to make more money, its nice to know that kind businessmen like Joel exist. When I do need my dryer vent cleaned, I will definitely call him again.

    Joel cleaned out my dryer vent. He could have just done the minimal amount, but let me tell you, he spent an hour at my home and wouldnt leave until his job was done up to his standards.He actually have me a better deal than he quoted me on the phone.     I purchased a dryer for Mother’s Day, and it gave me a flow blockage error message. I thought it was the dryer, so I replaced it with another new one. Same message.     Recently we got a new washer and dryer from Best Buy. When the new dryer was installed, I found out that the old dryer vent was disconnected for heaven knows how long. Anyway, when I used my new dryer, my laundry room and the rooms near it started stinking.I used Google to figure out how to fix this problem and found out that the dryer vent should be cleaned. I called West Houston dryer vent cleaning company, since I read very good reviews about this company. Brandon from this company came and told me that my builder had not connected the dryer vent to the roof, but had left it to vent into the attic.Joel who is the owner of this company came and gave me an estimate of 300 Dollars plus 175 dollars for the roofer to come and drill a hole plus put vent in the roof. They came on time and finished the job beautifully.It was a pleasure to meet Joel and Brandon who were so honest.

    This is my first time to write a review for any service I have recieved, however I am so impressed with the difference in my dryer, I thought it was necessary. I have three large dogs that shed immensly and dog hair is a part of everything I own. I wash their blankets all of the time and the dog hair and lint had really clogged up my dryer vent. Joel told me it should only take 50 minutes to dry a load of towels, not three cycles like it was taking me. To be honest, I figured it was just a sales pitch. However, he was right! He serviced my dryer a few days ago and the results have been great thus far. He did a great job and was very professional. I highly recommend this company.

    Put in a service request on-line on Sunday for dryer vent cleaning. Joe called a few hours later, asked what was happening. He said he knew exactly what was wrong, probably would not need the vent cleaning. He came Monday morning, found that the hose/duct in the attic was loose, which he fixed. Then he vacuumed up all the accumulated lint behind the dryer caused by the vent attached to the wall was bent. Hose even had water in it, which he emptied. He was there almost an hour - I am so pleased. Work is guaranteed for a year and I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

    This morning I smelled a burning smell coming from my dryer. Joel quickly diagnosed the cause as the improper use of a screen over the rooftop vent.     Honest. Professional. Came all the way to the house, checked the vents, and basically said there is not much for him to do there; vents are fine. No charge. He was insisting no charge even though he came all the way out. Gave us some honest advice on management, but said since there was nothing major that he did; there is no need to pay him.
