I had a great experience with every member of the Top Hat team. When I called to set up an appointment, the lady I spoke to was very professional. She worked me with to find a date and time that fit my schedule. The day prior to my appointment, I called to see if my technician would come on the later end of the time slot. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate me. I had my appointment today with Laquawn. Laquawn was on time, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He was able to identify some safety risks with our fireplace and gave me options on how to proceed. I am so thankful to the Top Hat team. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Fast and experienced! We tried calling the fireplace installer who initially installed, but they wouldnt return our call or make booking an appt easy, so we decided to call Top Hat. Top Hat made scheduling an appointment easy and came out quickly! Our fireplace is working today!! I wish we call Top Hat during the colder months. Now we know who to call!

The tech was very knowledgeable and methodical. Top Hat has the best equipment. Top Hat has equipment with soft bristles and torque sensors to prevent damage. To Hats equipment is serviced annually.They cleaned all AC vents, returns and exhaust vents thoroughly. Pictures to show before and after. Its so much cleaner now. Breathing better with clean system.

Weve been in our house over a decade and have never had our fireplace serviced. Since we have burned a lot of wood the past couple of years and our damper didnt close right, I decided it was time. At some point I saw an advertisement for Top Hat and decided to give them a call. All interactions from the time we scheduled to the conclusion of our appointment were pleasant and communication was very good. The technician (also the owner) arrived on time, and our fireplace was thoroughly cleaned and the damper adjusted. The gas igniter was also reoriented to allow for better cleaning. During the call we were also able to learn about some options for upgrading the fireplace to better heat the house. Would definitely recommend this company!

Great Experience overall. The technician quickly identified the issue as the ignitor just needed to be reset. He could have easily charged me for a new one plus labor...so honest! Ive had the pleasure of using Top Hat the last few years and theyve kept my chimney in prime shape and ready for those random Smores nights...but weve had some unexpected usage out of the fireplace on those days when ERCOT decides to stay in bed and not do the bare minimum and be ready for cold weather.Laqawn, our tech, has been out to my home for each of my service calls and upgrades, and has been great each time. Hes quick with a joke, explains things in the most simple of terms (Im a computer geek, not a structural engineer), and ensures that every bit of questions we may have are answered entirely.I cant say enough good things about him and Top Hat, give them a shout!
