We recently moved into a home that needed the dryer duct cleaned. I knew it was bad because no matter how much I tried to clean it, I had to run the dryer longer, the lint filter always had lots of lint in it even though we cleaned it after each load and the laundry room smelled like gas - I knew I needed a professional to clean it. Probably the best customer service of any HVAC cleaning service provider on the north side of Houston. Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. They were thorough in July 2023 when they first came to perform service. Went as far as inspecting both HVAC systems and found mold. The original service request was extended so they could thoroughly clean each duct (~22 total). They obviously didnt want to leave a bigger job behind but also wanted to do the right job. They have since returned for inspection and complimentary touch up (sanitation) twice since in the last 8 months. Recommended!

We knew we had the right company beginning with our initial call to Take Air. The receptionist was very informative and accommodated our schedule. Francisco followed up with several emails regarding his arrival time for the free consultation and he arrived on time! The consultation confirmed we had bacteria, mold and lots of dust. We were provided pics of the ducts and he explained the services he would perform. Francisco provided a quote and suggested we think about including a UV lighting system. Never did we feel we were being pressured into additional services. Francisco and Martin arrived ON TIME the day of service and did an excellent job. Both came in with masks and foot coverings and were very conscientious about keeping a clean area. There was minimal clean-up after they left. They even did little “extras”—paint touch-ups on ceiling where condensation left marks, touch up painting on air vents, etc. The dryer vent was cleaned and we have noticed a difference in drying time. Before leaving, Francisco again reminded us of the service warranties on both the A/C work and UV lighting. Although this maintenance was pricey, we feel we received excellent service and excellent results. We highly recommend Francisco and Martin.

I contracted Take Air Duct in 2016. I was overwhelmed how extensive and thorough they performed. As a condition of the work I received annual checkups in my system over the last 2 years. They contacted me in a timely manner and let me I was due for my annual checkup at no cost to me. They went through my system and checked everything. They cleaned 4 of my vent covers. Checked out the Ultra Violet device within each unit, identified a part needing replacement. They let me know they had to order the lamp and would schedule a date when they received the part. The lead technician, Francisco is great. Great service skills. He represents his companies mission to provide a great service. I totally recommend this company for their work effort and follow up to ensure I received the best service.

THIS IS A FIVE STAR COMPANY! Companies like Take Air Duct & Carpet Cleaning Specialists, are hard to come by and my entire experience with them was exceptional. First, Avi came out to give a free estimate, explained everything that would be done, took before pictures, and answered all of my questions. He was so personable, friendly, and professional. Their office staff (Ashley and Abby) set up my appointment with the technicians and were super friendly and knowledgeable. Francisco, one of the technicians called on the day of service to let me know he would be arriving on time and gave me the names of the two other techs (Chris and Don) coming with him. When they arrived, they got to work immediately. Francisco walked me thru what they were doing, how they were doing it and showed me pictures as they went along. It was really quite amazing to see the difference from before to after. They were very careful not to mess up the walls and took preventative measures to keep things clean. Whatever debris was outside of the vents, they cleaned up. Francisco gave me recommendations for things to do to help keep my air ducts in good condition. I will be a repeat customer for life and recommend Take Air to anybody looking to get their ducts cleaned.

After discovering mold growing out of one of our vents, we used Angies List to call 5 companies for quotes. TakeAir was the only company that took several pictures of the vent and actual AC unit. Avi sat and talked with my husband and I about the problem, explained our options, and pricing, including warranties. They had the longest warranties for their services, which gave use the impression that they back their work.We scheduled with them on Thanksgiving (yes, they were available for us to contact with any questions). They came out Sunday and worked diligently from 10:30am-3pm. They covered our furniture and belongings to ensure that it wouldnt get dirty. They took our vents off and washed them, cleaned the boxes, intakes, ducts and unit. After washing, they sanitized and installed the UV light system to prevent the problem from occurring again. They cleaned up afterwards. The smell of our house is wonderful after they used their organic solution.We are extremely pleased from the initial call, schedule for quote, questions, schedule for job, and actual job. Very friendly and professional. Older home being renovated, Fransisco came in and cleaned the dryer ventalation, the A/C system, and ran new Air Ducts. Could immediately feel better air flow and fresher air. Fransisco showed us with pictures what was the state of the A/C before and after. Take Air called a year later per warranty to inspect at no charge the A/C and see If we needed any other service. Suggested services but not pushy like some companies can be. Will definitely use Take Air in future one all renovations are complete for a cleaning again.

Ultimately, the HVAC sanitation service they provided was very thorough so we added a UV light system. All of it was reasonably priced and worth my peace of mind. Very pleased!

Mission Centers of Houston got steam cleaning job done.Hanna the receptionist kept in contact with me throughout the duration of the process, booking, billing etc. The technicians were very thorough and informative. Fransico (Frank) and his brother Christian were fast, efficient and pleasant to work with. They assessed the job determined if there were any additional things that needed to be done and offered those services. They worked very well together and got in and out arrived on time and I would use them again. Hana had to check with the management quite often to get quotes and do a call back but I know they were just trying to come up with the best pricing for the job and budget

Amazing service! We worked with Avi and his team to have the vents and ducts cleaned in our newly renovated home. Avi was professional and provided excellent customer service throughout the whole process. They cleaned all of our vents within a few hours which we found to have fungus since the previous owners never had them cleaned. They also installed a UV light as a preventative measure.Additionally, we also had Take-Air remove our old attic insulation and add new 13 inches of blow in insulation to bring our home up to code. We worked with Francisco for this project and he was also very professional.The attic looks amazing now since their team also removed all the old junk and debris that was left by the previous owners. Overall, we highly recommend working with Take-Air and requesting Avi if hes available!

A few months ago, a couple of our air conditioning air duct vents started blowing out some kind of black soot. A friend of mine recommended TakeAire. I called and made an appointment to have them send someone out to assess the situation. When the TakeAire two-man team arrived, they were able to quickly trace where the problem was coming from. The guys pointed out that the air distributor box interior lining in my system was very old and had developed signs of molding – it was actually beginning to disintegrate. We have two systems in the house and both distributor boxes had developed the same problem.I was going to get other bids, but TakeAire’s price seemed very reasonable and I needed to get the work done right away, so I had them schedule to return in a couple of days to do the job. I also inquired about adding another duct and vent in our master bedroom – they were able to add that to the work order at a reasonable price as well. In spite of their assurances, that they would leave the house as tidy as when they arrived, my wife was a little anxious about sheet rock dust and soot spewing out of the vents during the cleaning. We were expecting to be left with a big mess to clean up on the furniture and floors. Much to our surprise and satisfaction, the TakeAire team of professionals not only didn’t leave a mess on the floor or furniture, but removed and cleaned every vent in the house – completely! By the time the guys left, the house definitely had a much cleaner, fresher smell.My wife and I are very pleased with the work that the knowledgeable and courteous TakeAire team did. We would definitely, without hesitation, recommend TakeAire to our friends and neighbors.
