I cant speak more highly of the entire Sun City staff who got my new HVAC system up and running in a very timely and efficient manner. Starting with Crystal, who was able to schedule Jason right away and he gave me multiple options for a new system. Once I selected, Leighann got me scheduled for the install. The install also happened alot sooner than it was originally scheduled. Thank you Leighann! The installation crew...Johnny B, Fabian, and Luis had the new system up and running in no time and they left no trace that they were even here.Again, thank you all for your efficiency, your customer service, and your technical skills in getting my house cool once again. Great work, I would definitely recommend Sun City! I was very happy with our HVAC upgrade, the crew worked hard and explained everything well. Work was also completed very quickly, they finished in a little over a day. Layout of pipes and electrical all looks very professional also, and they sealed all holes in roof as well.

During our Arctic freeze here in NM last week, our water heater quit working. Even though we have a separate household warranty, dealing with these companies can mean days without an essential like hot water. So, I contacted Sun City instead. They handle my home heat and AC maintenance and have always done a great job.Jenna answered the phone and commented what I already figured - their crews were all booked out with the frigid weather we were having. She worked hard to figure a solution and called back to see if we wanted to rent a small water heater until the crews could be scheduled. It was reasonably priced so I said, “yes.” A few moments later she called again to say that the tech who would install the rental said he could install a new water heater instead … that day!!!Carl arrived and in less than two hours had our new water heater installed. He took the time to explain the operating functions and teach me things about water heaters I never knew. He also was considerate not to drain all the old rust and silt from the aged-out heater into my yard. We had hot water hours after my first call to Jenna!I cannot say enough about these two Sun City employees and the navigating they did to help our family. They took care of us like we were their family! Thank you, Sun City owner, for having employees like Jenna and Carl!! Thank you for your service.

Today, Sun City Plumbing & Heating came by to install a new/replacement HVAC unit for the house.Gonzalo and Johnny did an excellent job. They were highly communicative and answered every question that I had. In addition, they gave me some tips on what types of filters (pleated vs non-pleated) and MERV rating to use with the unit. Last, they explained/provided a few details on the inner workings of the unit (single-stage vs variable-speed AC).Thanks again Gonzalo and Johnny, I appreciate the Sun City service!

We could not be more pleased with our experience with Sun City. Alex came out to do an estimate, he is knowledgeable and explained the options available. Leigh Ann in the office was super easy to work with regarding scheduling our install. Next the installers Jeff and Johnny arrived and did an awesome job completing the installation of our new roof top HVAC system. Jeff and Johnny are customer service stars, they explained what they were doing, how the progress was going and completed the job including cleaning up everything...like they had never been here. So whatever is going on at Sun City its working, best customer service weve experienced in a very long time. Hire this team youll not be disappointed.

Sun City has been our go to company for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. For over ten years they have always responded promptly, and the quality of their work is exceptional. Service staff thoroughly explain their repair process and offer us money saving options, when available (Thank you Jose!). I would especially like to thank Jenna who has weathered many crises with us. I live far away from my elderly parents in Las Cruces. Each time the heater or AC dies, I can count on Jenna. She gets them service, day of, making phone call after phone call to ensure my folks have heating when it’s fifteen degrees overnight or AC when it’s a hundred. Highly recommend!

We have had the best experience with Sun City Plumbing & Heating. The staff we contacted by phone were professional, polite and efficient. Alex was the man we dealt with to help us choose heating and cooling. He was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole experience. The installers were Luis and Fabian. These two men were in and out of our home all day. We couldnt ask for a more professional team. They worked together seamlessly. Courteous in our home and always busy accomplishing the task at hand. We anticipate a good working relationship in the future with the Sun City team.UPDATE: Malachi came out 11-26-2024. He was on time, friendly and so good at his job. Malachi checked the whole system to find the issue and kept us informed all the way through so we understood. I have been with Sun City for years now and Malachi is the best!! Fast, thorough and explains EVERYTHING! I ask for him every time which is one of the great things about Sun City - if you like a technician, you get to request them. I have Malachi keeping my heating and AC in tip top shape and also a plumbing expert who comes every time that I need one. Sun City not only does my yearly maintenance under their special program but they installed a new system for me about 5 years ago when my old one conked out in August during triple digits! They kept me at a livable temperature with a portable AC unit while we waited for the new equipment to arrive and got it in fast! I had a different AC/Heating company when I first moved to Las Cruces but switched to Sun City on a friend’s recommendation and would never switch back. So Sun City is the best and ask for Malachi!!

Jenna (Jennifer) at Sun City Plumbing and Heating was so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me today. We just recently switched our service over to Sun City Plumbing & Heating during the summer. And I was trying to set up a fall service appointment for both our units, but I really didnt know that much about either of them. And I also didnt know if the previous company had shut off the gas to the units or not in the spring. She walked me through how to change the thermostat from cooling to heat. And had me see if the house would warm up fast so that a technician wouldnt have to come out just to check if the gas was turned on in the unit or not. And also so that we wouldnt have to wait to turn on the heat until a technician was available. They have been so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Such a great change from the previous company that we were with, that would ignore our calls, texts and emails, and wasnt fixing our issue that we had before with our main house unit.

We had Sun City clean and seal our vents. We noticed an immediate difference after they finished. The air and the house seems cleaner! The guys that did it did a great and very professional job. Also, they scheduled a follow up where a couple of small spots of paint were removed by the tape they needed to use to seal the vents. Tod came by today a fixed the spots so that you would never know that they were there to begin with! I want to thank Jason and his team for such a great job and I will definitely be using Sun City in the future when need be!

I recommend Sun City for any plumbing and heating needs. I have used them for many years and most recently needed their services several times over the last few months. I needed to replace a HVAC and Gonzalo and Johnny B did a fine job with installation, and thank you to Mike for the biannual check on my HVAC units. Same with my water heater. Joel and his partner replaced my old one and did great job. Also happy with the work on my tub spouts. Thank you to Estevan, Todd, and Joel. The spouts, and tile work look great! We had a wonderful experience with Sun City starting with our call about our furnace and speaking with Crystal. Crystal was very professional and helpful. Then our technician Nathan arrived, 10 mins earlier than are promised time slot, always a plus. Nathan was outstanding, went above and beyond to find the issue and make sure there where no other issues and no carbon dioxide leaks in the furnace and house. We highly recommend this company!

We have always been impressed with the staff at Sun City since they first installed an excellent Trane furnace-A/C system for our home back in 2014. On 12/27 we called to arrange an appointment for next week, it being Christmas Week, and Chrystal asked if wed like to be seen that same day, which was arranged. Shortly after, she called us, indicating that she could have a techician at our home in the next 30 minutes. Agreed! Must commend the great communication, including the text message with a photographic image of the technician for customer safety. Fantastic!!! Wonderfully polite techs, Malachi & his assistant Hezekiah, arrived promptly, inspected the thermostat, finding it faulty, needing to be replaced & explained the various options available & pricing for each replacement model. Although the model we selected wasnt on the Sun City van, they went back to the warehouse and returned promptly to efficiently install and test the new thermostat. Then Malachi gave us a very excellent explanation of how to operate the units settings, prior to providing us with warranty info and processing our payment on his handy-dandy tablet. In total, this recent experience with Sun City Plumbing & Heating was superb, just as 10 yrs ago; applies all three (courteous, good communication skills, knowlegable, and most of all EFFICIENT). I went without any air conditioning for 2 weeks. Fabian and Luis came and installed my Hvac system. I have never in my life been so thrilled to have AC! They were very hardworking and kind! They work so very hard and cleaned up after themselves!!! I also wanted to thank Stevie (plummer) and Alex (final inspector) for their hard work and professionalism!!! I wanted to add one more comment. I had a small leak of my water heater and Aaron came and fixed problem!!!! He is such a nice and informative young man! Very pleased with his work!!

Malachi was sent out to see why our AC was making a terrible noise and not cooling. He assessed the problem on a Friday and we needed a new blower motor and gave us our quote. Edited to add our second experience with Sun City 12/30/24: I cant say enough good things about Sun City Plumbing! We had a major leak that left us with limited access to water, having to turn it on and off to the house for just a couple of hours a day. After struggling to find a solution, we called Sun City Plumbing, and they came to our rescue. Ruben and Isaac were the team members who worked on our issue, and they were absolutely amazing!Before calling Sun City, we had another plumbing company give us a quote that was not only higher but also required us to incur an additional huge expense of having a pine tree removed. Thankfully, Sun City Plumbing gave us a much more reasonable estimate and handled the entire job without the extra costs.I also want to give a huge shout-out to Jay, who I spoke with several times on the phone. He was incredibly helpful and patient with all my questions. He even went out of his way to squeeze us onto their schedule so the project could get done quickly, especially considering how urgent our situation was.Despite the size and complexity of the job, Ruben and Isaac (and an additional team member whose name I didn’t catch but came on the second day of the project to help with the endless digging) worked tirelessly—even on New Year’s Eve—to complete this huge project in just two days. Thanks to their dedication, we had a fully functioning water system just in time for the new year. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to resolving our issue were truly impressive. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right, and we couldn’t be more grateful.We’ve actually had a very positive experience with Sun City in the past when they installed our HVAC system, so we knew we could trust them again. Large tank Reverse Osmosis system - remote mounted in garage.With a 3.2 gallon reservoir, the Puro Max system has ample storage to handle all our drinking water, icemaker and pasta pot filling needs and it does it silently from the utility room. Another super clean and timely installation from Estevan and Josh, this unit also prices very competitively to big box alternatives. Most importantly it operates quietly on recharge. Sun City continues to upgrade our lifestyle! And a recent smoke test of the plumbing vent system by Jeff and Josh put to rest some septic odor concerns while Manuel speedily diagnosed and explained AC compressor shutdown after hours caused by a utility brown out. True service at all hours!

Best of the best. Sun City did the original plumbing on our new build 5 years ago. Since then, have had some modifications done...and in the latest case, they included their labor and parts FREE and counted it toward warranty work, although it was an adjustment to outdoor faucets. After a poor prior experience with another contractor who tried to sell us an entire replacement of our water heater, we decided to go with another contractor and found Sun City Plumbing and Heating! They did a superb job overall and were neat and clean throughout. A fantastic job overall!Also, Todd prepped the closet for the HVAC removal and replacement before and after the installers came. He was so meticulous removing the trim and door frame and there was no damage at all. He spent hours installing those items afterward, then caulking, trimming and painting the affected areas. A beautiful, clean job and you’d never know anything had been removed. Excellent work.

I am having a heat pump system installed soon and Brian and Omar came from Sun City Plumbing to clean my ducts and vents and also to seal them so they will not leak. They were very careful to protect my belongings by moving and covering them and they also were diligent in putting them back where they belonged and cleaning everything up when they finished. They explained carefully what they were doing and left me with all the information I needed. I recommend them if you need this process done.I had my heat pump installed on June 6th , a large job as it will heat and cool my home electrically and economically. Jessy and Socorro spent all day here at work removing the old gas furnace and standard AC and replacing it with a modern heat pump system. From my first experiences with it, it seems great. The cool air circulates efficiently and almost noiselessly. I feel cooler at a higher temperature setting than I did before. If it lasts a long time and is as economical as it seems it will be, I will be very happy with it.I had my heat pump water heater installed last week along with a recirculator. I had some difficulties with it at first due to an incompatibility with connections with the old one I had. This was repaired quickly and after I learned how to set the timer to not heat the water when I did not need it, all has been well.Sun City has always responded quickly when it has been important to do so. Several weeks ago I had a water pressure regulator put on my whole system because the high pressure was causing leaks, both indoors and out. The valve broke and started to flood the yard. After turning off the water to the house, I notified Sun City and they came quickly to fix it.Both of these devices are modern in that you can connect them to wifi and control them from your phone if you wish. (I do not wish currently.) Both of them have easy to use controls which I very much appreciate.These items are not cheap. I think they represent good value because of their efficiency. They will save money and pay for themselves in the long run and even make some money as my solar panels have. There are also Federal Tax credits for these systems.

Just had a heat pump water heater and filter and softener installed and am very satisfied. The team that did the installation did good work, were communicative and courteous. The only complaint about their work was that they didn’t put a drop cloth down when they demoed the old gas tank water heater, so the finish on our laminate flooring was damaged by scratches and scale. Sun City made good on it, though. Dave, one of the owners, took one look at it and committed to send one of their team - Todd - out to clean and repair the damage done, and he did great work. He took his time to do the best possible job, and our floor looks as though nothing ever happened to it. VERY satisfied with the whole job. It’s reassuring to find a company who takes FULL ownership of their work - including fixing any mistakes. I will absolutely be calling on Sun City for our next plumbing need.

Sun City has been our GO TO company for several projects involving AC units, Heaters, and Water Heaters for several years. They have always provided prompt and efficient service at a reasonable cost. And in those rare moments when something they did was not working as expected they immediately returned to remedy to issue. This year a new water heater was required as the original that came with the house 15 years ago was struggling to fill our needs. Jeff arrived when promised and began removing the old unit and Dell showed up within a few minutes to deliver a needed tool for the job and was able to stay long enough to help complete the job. They disconnected the old unit and removed it with very little mess left behind. Along with the new unit they installed a metal drip pan (which the old one did not have). The whole process was started and completed within the estimated time indicated. Both Jeff and Dell were friendly and focused on their work. This is what my wife and I have come to expect from Sun City and always recommend them to others when asked. Thank you for your technicians who represent your company in a very professional and friendly manner.

Our experience with Aaron was fanominal! We have never had a bad experience with techs until today with Michael. Aaron came in after hours and was the best service recovery employee I have encountered in a long time. Aaron had an amazing attitude, listened to what had occurred and our frustrations, then offered to waive the after hours fees to change the valve. All we were expecting was for him to stop the water from flowing from the shower. Aaron was very happy to complete the job and change out the valve and faucet. The HVAC company that installed the system wasn’t answering their phone, so took a chance and called Sun City as we’d had them to our house many times over the years for plumbing issues. Hats off to Sun City for getting us in today!!Our tech, Emanuel Delgado, arrived right on time and had the issue diagnosed quickly and set to work. Within an hour the system was up and running and space cleaned up. Very courteous, professional, and not one of the “other” company techs that treat females like idiots, despite college degrees. They were responsive and very knowledgeable on what needed to be fixed and done.A major thing they did for us was replace our AC unit due to a leak along with the parts for our old unit not being available. Their team was so helpful in getting us any information we needed and along with working with us to get a new unit in. Our tech Andre was amazing in explaining what was wrong and keeping us updated. The lovely ladies on the phone as well who helped me with getting us scheduled were amazing and so understanding (especially since our AC basically didn’t work).We were originally scheduled for the new unit install in September but yesterday we were informed that they had an opening and could come today! I want to thank Josh for coming out and fixing my reverse osmosis system. He knew exactly what was wrong with my system and fixed it in no time. While he was here he noticed that there was a smell of gas in my garage and looked into that. He found a leak in my gas line and although he didnt have the part in his truck he went to Home Depot got the part came back and fixed it. Today Jeff replaced a toilet for us. He was prompt, efficient, pleasant and well mannered. The installation looks great. One thing that is important to me is that our home is respected and no damage is done (youd be surprised what can happen). Jeff was careful, respectful and cleaned up when he was finished.

I had Sun City update my heating and cooling system, from a 35,000 BTU gas wall heater plus evaporative cooler, to 3 Mitsubishi heat pump mini split systems for the 3 zones of my 1947 adobe house. Jason came out and gave me an accurate estimate of the work needed. The electricians did a thorough job of placing the lines on the roof and rerouting my electrical panel. I was concerned about holes being drilled in my adobe walls, and installer team Jesus and Gonzalo answered all my questions. Their very precise work reassured me that there would be no water leakage. Some changes were needed in the original plan for placement of the units, due to structural details like the way the window frames fit into the walls. I was very satisfied with the change of one unit from the back wall to the interior front wall, as it allows for more efficient air flow. I was also concerned that the living room unit appeared to be crooked. After both the technicians and the manager came out with a level to show me that there was a slope in the wall, I was satisfied. All 3 units are working very well. I have been so much more comfortable during the past 3 months. Im sure I will also be more comfortable come summer. Todd did a great job repairing the hole left when the wall heater was removed, matching the texture to adjacent walls, repainting and replacing the tile baseboard. Jaime came out promptly when I noticed some ceiling vibration from the units installed on the roof, and put cushioning pads under the units. All the installers took videos and showed them to me at the end of each work day. Back at the office, Lee Ann provided me with all the documents I will need to claim my Federal Tax Credit for 2023. She even processed the forms for my $525.00 rebate from El Paso Electric! Sun City did a very professional job from start to finish. This was a complicated update to an older home, and I am glad I had a reputable, experienced company do the work. You all are a first class operation - thank you!!

Gonzalo, Jeff, and Jesus had the job of cleaning my coils on my furnace. Lalo the technician had diagnosed the problem on a preventative maintenance visit. The three installers did a tremendous job. My furnace is in the house and not being able to get at the coil the furnace had to be removed to clean the coil. These three were efficient, friendly, answered all my questions, and did an excellent job of cleaning up. They let me know when they were going to sweat the pipes and that the smoke alarm would go off so I could remove my animals from the house so they wouldn’t be frightened. On a scale of one to 10 and 10 being the best they were a 10.

Jeff and Eric were fantastic! We had our old furnace and AC units replaced with electric heat pumps. We also added a mini split to a bedroom that tends to stay hot (upstairs). From the beginning of the process Sun City answered all questions and were able to guide us to the right systems. Jeff, Eric and their team were punctual, polite and friendly. They are also very professional and true craftsmen as they navigated our old house and systems. As a bonus they provided thorough education after installation. I chose Sun City Plumbing and Heating to inspect, clean, and repair my HVAC ducting system, since it had never been done in my 26 year old house. When I thought I would need to postpone the job until I could find someone to help me hang/tape protective plastic sheeting and move heavy furniture away from the ceiling vents, Leigh Ann sent Jayce out to my home to advise and help me. We got all that done in less than an hour, and the duct inspecting, cleaning, and repairing job could continue that day as scheduled. The equipment set-up and take-down took the most time. The technology was fascinating. The two-man crew cleaned and vacuumed up after themselves in every room. Very thorough.

I had an issue with the drain pipe in the kitchen of my 60 year old house. A couple different plumbers showed up before Sun City. They would snake it for 30 mins then call it a day. I would pay the money only for my drain to get clogged again within a couple days, then the other companies would ghost me or slap me with a ridiculous quote for thousands of dollars. Sun City totally took care of me. They were the most professional and experienced plumbers Ive ever hired. Daniel and Josh spent hours snaking and flushing the drain pipes instead of just guessing that it was a collapsed pipe. I definitely recommend them to anyone that need a good experienced plumber.

Called Sun City to have them meet us at a customers residence so that we could obtain a quote from them for an air conditioning unit that was to be installed on an addition job that we were bidding on. We were told that the service tech would call us 30 mins to 1 hour prior to their arrival on the following day so we could meet them there at the customers residence. We never received a call. We then called Sun City and were told that the technician had already gone to the residence (never called us prior to going to the residence), spoke with our customer, and then informed our customer that they would send her the quote. So as a business owner we were totally blindsided by this. The technician never saw the plans for the residence and never spoke with our construction team about specifically what we needed, so not exactly sure how Sun City was going to give our customer a quote on a system for the addition. Called up the office to speak with our point of contact from Sun City and got the run around and a bunch of static from someone else. Waste of time and very unprofessional.FOLLOW UP: Jason with Sun CIty called us up, apologized, and attempted to get to a resolution for our problem, and we appreciate that. We would ask that he speak with the lady answering the phone for his business. Her argumentative attitude is a turn off and unprofessional. Thanks again Jason for trying to make it right.

Due to our unique situation, we required quite a bit of construction to our dry wall and remodeling of a closet. Todd was always so polite, helpful, and informative. Very happy with the work Sun City has done to diagnose the problem with our 20+ year old furnace and then replace the heating and cooling system when we decided to go that route. They responded to our original call quickly and scheduled a visit within the week. When we decided to replace instead of repair, they provided a cost estimate, scheduled the work and completed it quickly. Each time they came to work, they called the day before to confirm and then showed up exactly when scheduled.Jeff and Jose did a great job with the install – kept everything clean and neat and were very considerate of our nervous dog as they were coming and going. I appreciate that the company schedules a follow up visit for a week after the new install to check on the system and make sure any of our questions are answered. I would definitely recommend Sun City Plumbing and Heating.

Yes, I like to compliment the professionalism and curious service that I received from the Sun City employees Raul, Gonzalo, Victor and Mike with his colleague on the replacement of my HVAC system. While everyone can improve their service these gentleman met all my expectations with a system they hadnt installed every often. Raul and Gonzalo did the bulk of the work to remove and replace my equipment with the new Mitsubishi Heat pump and air handler. They answered all my questions and made sure I was satisfied, making certain my install was top notch. I cant thank them enough great service from all, Id recommend Sun City anytime!

Matt was right on time and serviced my furnace efficiently and professionally.05/08/2023: My old unit finally bit the dust and I had to have a new system installed. The entire Sun City team made it as painless as possible. Nobody wants to spend the money for a new system but if you have to do it, Sun City is a good place to go. Special thanks to JESSE and SOCORRO who installed the system. They were quick, professional, and took care of my floors. LEANN in the office was a pleasure to work with.5 STARS for Sun City.

9/16/2022Gonzalo/Gabriel Martinez replaced an older defective wall-mounted split AC/heating unit with a new Mitsubishi. They encountered obstacles from the previous installation (not by SunCity) and did an excellent job overcoming them and installing the new unit. Gonzalo is a true craftsman.Also, they were on time and cleaned up the work area when they finished. I highly recommend Sun City.On 10/21/2022Shayne Jackson fixed a leaking outside faucet system. It was fragile and beyond the house cut-off. He added a cut-off valve, made it available via a box, and made the new faucet system easier to use.Jeff and Josh did some outside plumbing for me today (7/19/23). As in the previous five times I had Sun City do jobs, these two were excellent. I will always use this company.Tom Russell
