    Scogin Aire was absolutely fantastic I love thiscompany owner Michael Scogin was great in explaining to me the concept of air flow how it is Distributed, through out the house, & how important it is for your house to breath ,Michael went into detail explaining just by adding an air return in each room & an additional air supply over the front door in the ceiling on the second floor would improve airflow Michael said to me that this is what he see’s everyday improper ventilation & air returns which results in hot spots I’am so pleased with the worked that Scogin air did to my home I did go with a Carrier performance 3 ton ,16 Seer 2 stage blower & 2 stage Compressor, & all new R8 duck work with an air ionizer that kills all the germs so wonderful in this day and age of Covid even put in an attic tent to Insure no heat escapes into the house from the attic also as an extra protection Michael suggested to add surge protectors on the outside of the power boxes to each unite to insure protection from any power spikes & I went even further & installed a hard start to my new A/C in case of low voltage , money well spend to protect your investment for the futureAPCO-X - Fresh-Aire UVThe best part of the whole Scogin experience was Currently Michael’s crew a great bunch of highly experienced installers Juan was great he cut all the holes in the ceiling in each room & over the foyer. Clean so impressed how each return was boxed in so no air leaks attention to detail craftsmanship at the highest than there’s Diego so talented who created a piece of art in my attic he set up the furnace all the pipe work & hung the duck work off the ground & we have Adolfo who was fantastic by putting together the duck work boxing in the returns orchestrated the lay out & insured everything went smooth Adolfo even fixed my attic ladder that goes into the ceiling by tightening all the screws & adjusting the spring tension so it snaps right into place so cold air doesn’t escape into the attic Adolfo Also did a great job installing my attic tent an insulated barrier basically a zipper door attached to the attic stair frame Inside The attic than we have Alselmo the lead technician wow watching him work was most impressive the knowledge he brings to the team , Alsemo installed the condenser outside cut all the Cooper & soldered it all together, installed new power Quick disconnect boxes to the house for the outside units Alselmo also installed an ionizer in the upstairs blower that cleans the air from germs & installed my new Cor WiFi thermostat which can be controlled by an app on your phone he is truly a technical wizard amazing, how much talent is brought to the Scogin team & finally there’s Michael Scogin a true leader , it reflect’s on his employees, Michael is a regular guy , honest, caring , down to earth he eats lunch with the guys & treats everyone with the highest respect I saw that first hand during the installThere are many choices out there to choose from when you are looking for an A/C repair company to fix something or even replace your whole A/C system like I did , I highly recommend Scogin Aire I can save you all your headaches by simple calling Michael .     I just moved to Texas and bought a house here. Three months later the upstairs air conditioning stopped working. My realtor recommended Scogin-Aire so I called them. They had a tech at my house within 2 hours. The air handler was only 5 years old but the motor was shot. I spoke to the owner and agreed to the price. the unit was ordered and installed the very next day. They were very professional, honest and fun to work with. I still work in Ct. and I build houses there. I would love to have them as one of my trades in Ct.

    Received quotes from three different companies to add a return air duct to our second floor. I appreciated the time Michael Scogin took to inspect the entire circulation system and he found some things the others missed and offered excellent suggestions. He also did not try to sell me a new system like the others did. He said ours should be good for a few more years. His crew that installed the new duct work was exceptional. I highly recommend this company.

    I cant express adequately with words as to the satisfaction felt doing business with Scogin-Aire. The air conditioning went out Saturday evening. I called Sunday morning expecting to have to wait for assistance until Monday. Much to surprise my phone call was answered. Mr. Scogin was very much professional and accommodating. He took the time to go over a few things (troubleshoot) while on the phone with me and had the most pleasant of demeanors. Unfortunately the fix was going to require a trained mechanic. Generally people are resting and enjoying their Sundays, but within an hours time he had a tech at the house to get the air back up and running. Not only was Mr. Scogin the consummate professional, but his tech Anselmo was truly a pleasant individual who took care of my issue in a most timely fashion. The issue with the ac was a relative quick fix and in no time the house had cooled and momma was happy. It would be an understatement to say that Mr. Scogin and his representative were anything other than the most genuine, good natured, and honest of peoples any of us should hope to encounter. I, myself, will never look further than to Scogin-Aire if and when an HVAC issue arises. I certainly will recommend this company to anyone I know.     I have been a customer of Mike since 2012. I was remodeling my home and wanted an HVAC capacity plan. The A/C repair company I was using, recommended Scogin-Aire as they did not have the means to create the plan. Mike let me know my system was more than adequate for my existing home. The problem was I did not have insulation over part of my ceiling. His team also installed a complete new system for me at that time for my addition. I have had his team to my house to fix capacitors and to replace A/C units at least three times. My home was built in 1998 and has 4 A/C units. Mike fixes only the parts that need to be fixed. I have never had a complete A/C replaced. This makes me a very happy customer. I just used Mikes team this week to replace one of my original heaters. I have recommended Scogin-Aire to friends multiple times. One other note. He appears to have great employee retention as I have had the same technician to my house the entire time I have been a customer.

Owner came out on a Sunday to repair my AC, I was terribly worried about ridiculous weekend call out cost but the price was very reasonable and Mr. Scogin was very professional.     Remember the good old days when there was great customer service, and people cared about their job performance. A hand shake on their word was gold? This is what you get with Scogin Aire. I called to have them look at the issues my AC was having. The owner Michael came out and went to great detail on the issues my 18 year old system was having. It was not cooling well and leaking freon along with a water drain line issue. He also showed me the electrical amp draws and how I can save money on my electric bill with a new energy efficient unit. I decided to go with a new energy efficient system that he recommended.Before I was scared to go into my unsafe dark attic and thanks to Michael and his crew; Oscar, Juan, Adalfo and Diego. My attic now has lighting and sturdy decking for accessibility and storage. They even went to great lengths to recommend re-hanging my restricted duct work that was just laying on the attic floor.They also noticed my clothes dryer vent that exhausted through my roof was loose and clogged. I had them clean and repaired it. You dont find companies any more that go out of their way to take care of their customers and clean up during and after work is completed. I highly recommend Scogin Aire if you are looking for 100% satisfaction guarantee on products and service.

    Had an issue with our heater blowing really hot in the master bedroom. Called Scogin-Aire. They came out and found a broken damper on the duct which was blowing all the hot air into our bedroom. They got the part and fixed the issue quickly. They also noticed other issues but suggested a plan for maintenance and repairs over time to get more value out of my aging equipment. They didnt just try to sell me a bunch of stuff too early. They educated me on a plan for when things will likely go out as my system is approaching 20 years old and whats needed now versus what has a little more life in it.     I live in Carriage Hills and wanted the neighborhood to know Scogin-Aire impressed me with their service and professionalism. The Rheem system I had was still working after 24 years but I wanted to replace it because of the age. Scogin installed a new Rheem system in my house and completed the installation in 1 day. The Operations Manager, Richard Blackwell performed a complete inspection the installation the following day. He emailed my Rheem Warranty registration certificate and and sent me a complimentary bi-annual inspection (2 inspections for the fall and spring). If you need AC service I highly recommend them.

    The Little Things Matter. I would have to write a book to say all the little things that Michael and his crew did that really matters to me. From how to choose the right system and not go overboard to the workmanship of the installation. All the services were secured and relocated to prevent tripping hazards. The gas line was re-worked to be level and plumbed. They even installed an access point to clean out the condensate line. The little things added up and mattered to me.

    Very dependable HVAC service provider. Have used them for about 5 years and am very pleased with everything they do. All the service staff have been excellent and management is always checking to make sure I am satisfied. They do what they say, are very professional and offer a very good value.
