    This is a rave review! Great company and great owner. Had to replace a whole AC system and choose Pepcal Heating & Air LLC for their sense of integrity. Had some issues and bugs with setting up the system but Jose and his team were dedicated and returned a couple of times to insure it was perfect and replace a faulty thermostat and upgrade a problematic previous install design.     Johnathan Arcos exemplified excellent customer service from the moment I opened my door to him. He introduced himself and informed me what he was here for, and explained everything he was going to do. He asked if i had any questions or concerns I wanted addressed before he began his inspection.After completing the job he showed me pictures of everything he had checked and let me know how everything was working as a result of his inspection. He offered me a couple of maintenance plans to help me save money in the future. He answered all my questions to help me choose the right plan. He is very knowledgeable in his work.     Jose Calderon and his team came out on top of 4 other HVAC businesses I met with. The PepCal team has a great reputation online and has been in business over 10 years. Jose’s initial consultation, communication and professionalism was on point. He was on time for the appointment, carefully reviewed my existing system and answered all of my questions. He was also the only one that was able to modify a Trane system and make an XR16 SEER to qualify as 17 SEER with larger coil (certified). He informed me about the CPS rebate program for early replacement and even helped fill out the application. I was very specific about not to rush the job and to protect my wooden floors, new carpet, furniture, and walls in my home, which was respected. Jose was present during the install and his team was in sync with all of my asks and all went as expected. They installed a Trane 2x 3Ton 17 SEER variable speed systems. A day after, I noticed that one of the systems was making a slight rumbling noise. Jose was very responsive and professional and came back the next day to diagnose the issue. Ultimately, he replaced the motor and blower. Jose offered multiple payment options with a cash incentive discount and was willing to adjust his price to deliver a competitive offer. He also offered a 10 year parts & labor warranty. I was happy with their willingness to listen to the customer, attention to detail, honesty, punctuality, flexibility and professionalism.     Arevin was my tech and he was great!!! He even noticed a loose duct and got a ladder and fixed it. No big deal but my last tech didn’t fix it or didn’t notice it. Either way Arevin is who I want working on my unit. Pepcal is the only place to call for heating and cooling issues..

    Technician inspected entire system. He remove all covers to inspect lines, and lines were fine. He added refrigerant and stop leak to system, and system is working at peak performance. I will notify him on how heating/cooling is performing as the temperatures change. We continue to get changes in temperatures fluctuate. Jose continues to correct what needs correcting.     I will begin this review by saying that the owner Jose Calderon is running a great company. They are diligent, honest, and incredibly dependable. A worker came out on a Friday afternoon to unclog our AC, which unfortunately went out again the following day. I texted the owner at 9 p.m. and he texted back stating he would try to get someone to come out in the morning. That was when early Sunday morning, Mr. Calderon himself came out to help my 87 year old father, and grandfather who is a disabled veteran. He explained that the reason the A.C. kept clogging up was due to a rerouted drainage pipes caused by foundation contractors. Seeing as my father had no one to help, Mr. Calderon pulled up his sleeves and got to work, free of charge. Kindness and honesty is not seen too often, but this man and his company exemplifies it. Thank you, Mr. Jose Calderon for all youve done for me and my family. 10/10!

I have used other company in the past but I’m glad I found one that I can always count on.They even fixed the entry way, the ladder to get to the attic to install the unit @ no cost.     If you are as many homeowners use AHS mainly for heating and air conditions, I would highly encourage ALL to give Jose and his PepCal Heating and Air LLC team an opportunity. You will not be disappointed. I currently have AHS for the next 5 days and my Air Condition units (2) ceased working around 25 June 2023. An AHS assigned contractor had the perfect sell pitch, however lack the technical competency to get my air condition issue resolved. I have Trane air condition units and from my internet research discovered PepCal heating and Air LLC. I contacted Jose 13 August, I scheduled an appointment for 1830 or 630pm 15 Aug, Jose arrived and approx. 2100hrs or 9pm, I felt coolness and for a Kool price. Jose is diagnostically savvy, and technically skilled in his work. He demonstrated he understood from the condenser to the evaporator coils how the air condition system function and the necessary steps for repair. Im cool as I write my review! ANY homeowner with trouble finding a competent air condition repair company, Jose and PepCal Heating and Air will provided you the service and repair you are seeking.     In 2020 our AC went out & we called Pepcal at night expecting a voicemail and got a person who scheduled a visit the next day. Pepcal was professional and, most importantly, honest during our initial inspection of our problem. They could’ve easily told us we needed a new AC unit and we would’ve purchased one. Instead, they fixed the needed repairs to allow us to continue using our current system until it really needed to be replaced.In 2022, we had them replace my mom’s HVAC with a Goodman system. They did a great job. Finally last week our system failed after 24 years and we went with Pepcal a 3rd time and got a new Goodman system too. It was over the July 4th 2023 holiday, but they showed up and left us with a portable AC unit to get us through the two days it took to get the new system. Great work and honest staff! They fixed my issue forcless than half the cost. And I only had 1 issue that was causing my system not to cool. Its been 5 days and my system is working great!     We have used Pepcal for several years. The first time we called, Jose was in Mexico on his honeymoon and he took the time to walk us through how to fix the issue. He then came out after he returned to make sure everything was ok. Technician Jose is very patient with all my questions and makes sure I understand what the issue was and how to prevent it from happening. Recently, our unit quit. They came out the same day I called. We knew we needed a new system but they didnt push it. They offered other ways to fix it to get more life out of it. We ultimately decided to replace it. We called Pepcal because we wanted to explore our *complete* range of options for servicing an older Trane system (with the older freon.)     This Xmas my new heating system failed to work, I made several attempts to contact the company who had done the installation to no avail. In desperation I went online and found Pepcal Heating had excellent ratings. I called at 9:30pm Xmas Eve and Jose answered, I explained my situation to him, he was professional in his response and told me it was probably something very simple. He told me he could come out and check it for me, I told him Iwas going to wait one more day and try to contact the installer again the next day. No success the next day...I called Jose back Xmas day and scheduled an appointment, Jose arrived and immediately found the issue and fixed a broken wire connection. He also found other wires loose and reconnected them to insure proper contact. He checked for carbon monoxide emission also. This man is a credit and a professional to the heating industry.     This past Forth of July my outside unit went out again. I made the mistake in calling one of those other big guys to come that morning and was charged an absurd amount to replace the motor.     Weve been Pepcal customers since 2014. Recently, our 10+ year old A/C unit started to go out, so naturally we called Pepcal.     In 2018 was needing for a brand AC/Heating unit since my Trane finally broke down after 33 years. Wanted to get another Trane since they last longer.Needing a reputable company and searching on the internet at PEPCAL reviews. I called them up and spoke to Jose came and gave me an estimate got my Trane AC/Heating unit installed in May 2018. He was very professional along with his crew. Then 2020 my wife starting getting allergies and asthma. I knowingly knew we had not updated our ductwork in our house in over 30 years. We were in need to clean our vents. We couldnt cleaned them because it would be impossible they will tear apart very easily.Back in 1985 the ductwork was paper thin. Its not the kind of materials what they use today. Now 2021, my wife couldnt stand it no longer getting sick everyday. My wife, called PEPCAL since they did a great job with air conditioner unit. Jose came over and I talked to him and told I would need the ductwork to be replaced. And I also ask him that my wife started getting allergies and asthma and ask him about a purifier and recommended Halo Led. Got an affordable free estimate for all work. Got the installation done this Monday. Jose and the crew was so courteous and professional. They did a great job. My wife woke today her allergies and asthma were not bothering her at all.
