Out of everyone we worked with, Thad was the most knowledgeable and passionate about doing great HVAC installations. He drew out plan sets, explained the benefits of different systems, and negotiated/critiqued quotes from other contractors. I see why Morrow Mechanical has a great reputation with employees like Thad.

For once I had no complaints about a contractor! I very often experience issues and problems with these guys so I was very happy with Aitken Taylor who serviced my HVAC system this morning. We have used Morrow Mechanical for many years for standard maintenance of our A/C and heater systems. This time, we needed their service to clean out the lint vent from our dryer to our roof. They sent Devin Page and Michael Brown, who went out of their way to serve our needs. We apologized that the light in the laundry room had burnt out, and we were infirm and unable to climb to change it. Also, we were unable to move the heavy dryer, which is on an elevated platform and must be lifted to move. They assured us that they would take care of everything. Finally, we expressed a concern that had bothered us for years, that it appeared to us that, instead of having the vent go straight through the outside wall behind the dryer, the builders had made it travel diagonally through the wall, with multiple 90-degree angle turns to the roof. Our concern is that this would trap the lint in the wall, posing a fire hazard. They said that they would investigate and let us know how the vent was structured. They proceeded to put in the light bulb, move the dryer, replace the dryer connection to the outside vent, and thoroughly clean the vent. They talked with us midway through this service to warn us of a faulty connection where the vent passed from the attic through the roof, with pictures that showed that it was trapping the lint. We authorized them to replace it. They then explained to us that they could see that the vent went straight up the wall from behind the dryer to the roof, without the 90-degree turns we had feared. I asked whether this design was ineffective, having the lint fight gravity going straight up, and their answer was immediately relieving. Our dryer is a newer model and has a powerful blower that would have no problem expelling all the lint. This set our minds at ease after so many years, and they quickly performed every remaining work to perfection. This is customer service that goes well beyond expectations and is deeply appreciated.

Their team is always professional, courteous, kind, and every one of their technicians has exceptional skills. With the new system, we now have sensors that monitor any issues and provide Morrow with a notice. We’ve had two minor issues in the past two weeks and they knew about it before I did and called to schedule the appointment. I am grateful that they have team members like Trevor, Caleb, and Jim!

I always request Jim to service my hvac units 2 times a year in the fall and spring. He does 5 star quality work and is very professional. If something is needing to be fixed he explains it fully for me to understand what and why it needs to be repaired. He then repairs it completely as he had explained to me. He’s never had to return because he didn’t fix it correctly. Told him when he left today that I would see him in the spring.

They are thorough on their maintenance of the system and honest about what concerns they have that need to be addressed.Good labor isnt cheap, and cheap labor isnt good.Cheapest isnt always the best, so rest assured Morrow will handle your HVAC needs.

I purchased (2) Lennox XC16 Air Conditioners with Coil, Furnace, Pure Air Purification and icomfort S30 Thermostats. Living room is 4 Ton & Bedroom is 3 Ton, Two stage AC. My wife and kids have complained that it is too cold in the house as I was experimenting with temperature & humidity like a mad scientist for the first couple of weeks, air quality and temperature is perfect for the first time in 14 years!James did a great job by walking my house to perform static pressure test prior to installation to confirm the ton size and new duct and return requirements. James was very polite, great at explaining and breaking down the technical details so that I could understand all aspects of the HVAC system. He was very nice and professional to work with during the entire process.James kicked of the job with the installation crew every morning then returned in late evening for quality control checks. His attention to detail was outstanding and I felt like he was in charge of installing two units at his own house. He went above and beyond several times and even sent his crew a few days afterwards just to increase air flow for one vent. His lead tech, Nick, also did a great job installing and had great customer service skills.This was one of the largest purchases I have made on my house, but totally worth it, our family comfort level is the best it has ever been and James and his crew really made the experience enjoyable. I will recommend Morrow to all my friends and family!Justin did a great job by walking my house to estimate then returning to review the pricing and options, then returning again with the service manager, James, to test static pressure. Then returning to fill out final contract agreement and collect deposit. Justin was very polite, knowledgeable and nice to talk with during the sales process.The pricing was hand written down, which was a little old fashioned, but a nice touch compared to everyone typically emailing pricing. He had a great attitude and did not pressure me or my wife during the process and explained the system details. He also was prompt to respond to my numerous questions and detailed emails as I researched for a month before purchasing.I had (8) bids and met with over a dozen people at my house and I chose Morrow because Justin and James took the extra time to answer all my detailed questions in person, fair pricing and online reviews over several years. I am writing a review to show my appreciation for the excellent job everyone at Morrow did as well as the outstanding customer service they provided me. I will recommend Morrow to all my friends and family!

Ive had multiple technicians come to my home for issues that most people wouldnt even bother with. I have to tell you all that this company is the most responsive company I ever had to deal with. After Beryl, my AC didnt start. It was a question of turning a switch on and off. Most people could do it themselves. I cannot get in the attic so Jonathan came within 1 hour of my placing the call. Incredible service. Friendly technician. Very professional. The other time, I had a small leak. It was the vent, not the AC. Dee came the same day (on a Saturday, no less), took his time to find out what was wrong, and since Im on the warranty, didnt get charge even if it was the vent and not the unit. Again, very professional, friendly, and explained everything to me. I strongly recommend this company for your next AC project. The after sell service is very well worth it.

Awesome service! In advance of his arrival I received a text with brief bio on the tech coming out so I knew who was going to be here. I received a call letting me know that my tech was about 45 minutes out. The tech was very professional and friendly. I was given a detailed explanation of what was wrong and given multiple options and complete pricing on the repairs. He answered all my questions and was very patient with me. He got our AC up and running quickly. We are very happy with Morrow Mechanical and will definitely be recommending them to anyone who is having heating or cooling issues.

I like my technician, Mike Berry. He provided A-1 service. Mike was respectful and spoke clear and professional. After walking through the attic and around the side of my home, Mike provided recommendations for my infrared system and the split unit for the garage, which had nothing to do with why I called. He dealt with the A/C thermostat swiftly, with explanation of what he was doing and recommending what I should not do for overall longevity of my units operation. Mike had represented Morrow Mechanical in a great way. I will continue services with this contractor and specifically ask for Mikes return as my technician.

Our AC kept tripping breakers and Matt was able to determine that we needed hard start kits which fixed the problem. This was fortunate as it also allowed us to run our AC’s during Beryl with a generator.

I had a complete new A/C system installed on 8-15 and though it was cooling sufficiently the humidity was extremely high. (69%) Jonathon came the following week on the 22nd and found an area that wasnt sealed correctly during installation but most importantly he found that the a/c fan had been left in the on position during installation testing rather than in the Auto position which he believed was the main issue. After setting the thermostat correctly the humidity dropped from 69 to 50% by the following day. Its much better now but hopefully it will drop another 5-10%. Overall Im satisfied with the work performed.

These is the company you want when you have an AC problem. Our unit went out the night before the hottest day of the year. We called about 12:30 and Chris arrived a little before 5. He diagnosed the problem. The next morning they got the replacement part (the fan) which was covered under the Lennox warranty. He brought it out and had everything working about 2:30. Chris was friendly, professional and clearly well qualified. You cant go wrong with Morrow Mechanical.

Jim Greiner returned by my preference go sort out issues in the air duct suspension system causing condensation on supply lines. He reviewed the mods he designed and approved the work the team installed (to improve comfort in the master bedroom). He adjusted the system. It’s expected the straightened air duct runs will present a lighter load on the furnace and improve air velocity through the vents. Side benefits will be improved access to the attic above the joists for ease of inspection and maintenance. Thanks!!.

We’ve been using Morrow for the past couple years for semi-annual regular service. When our thermostat appeared to have failed to respond on a Sunday, Morrow was able to send out a technician that day. Brett arrived as scheduled and quickly confirmed the initial diagnosis that no power was going to the thermostat. He methodically determined that the furnace fuse failed and relay on the compressor had burnt out. He offered solutions and patiently answered my questions with explanations that an average homeowner could understand. Repairs were made and I was satisfied with the results and excellent service by Brett and Morrow Mechanical. 8/19/24 - I have undertaken a reassessment of Morrow Mechanical following the satisfactory resolution of previously raised concerns. I commend Morrow for addressing the issues in a professional manner.Past,I apologize for sharing negative feedback, but I felt it necessary to address my recent experience with Morrows services. While I had previously held Morrow in high regard, my most recent encounter has left me exceedingly dissatisfied. During a scheduled A/C checkup, and installation of a $2000 UV light system to mitigate dirty sock syndrome issues with my relatively new A/C unit, the technician suggested that my capacitor needed replacement (a warranty part) and proceeded to upsell me a $100 capacitor, which upon further investigation, I found to cost only $70 on retail platforms. To my surprise, the replacement took less than 5 minutes. Upon completion, I was asked to sign the invoice without being informed of the service charge. Subsequently, I was invoiced $366.25 for the warranty part replacement. However, my attempts to discuss the charge with Morrows management were met with rudeness and a lack of responsiveness, leaving me deeply dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I referred a friend to Morrow before this happened. That friend recently had Morrow install a new A/C system and redo her ductwork. It was embarrassing when I had to go to them and share this experience.8/13/24Its been two months and Morrows has not called me to discuss this matter. I dont remember all of the Technicians names that have serviced our unit over the years, but all have been polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. As always, some a little better than others, but no bad references, and worthy of a 5 star rating for us. Yes, they are more expensive that many of your small business, self-employed A/C Technicians... but I do find that you get what you pay for...

I have used Morrow Mechanical for years! I am on their maintenance plan and not once have I had to call them up and schedule the visit. They call and email me when the service is due which I so appreciate because l would definitely forget. The guys who come out to do the service are just so friendly, knowledgeable and just great people. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Sam on numerous occasions he is so professional and all around great guy!As a women the two main things that keep me going back to Morrow is the fact that when these guys come into my home I feel comfortable, they send a picture of the service person showing up that day which is such an added security.Lastly I never feel pressured they are just honest and straightforward! If you are looking for an AC company I would definitely recommend Morrow!

These are our guys! I had been using another company for a few years they told me I needed a part that seemed a little high, called morrow for second opinion and they had a technician out the next day. Not only did we find that morrow is veteran owned but our tech is a vet as well, as my husband and I are vets as well this means a lot to us. The technician did find other issues that the other did not and had been missing for years obviously. We ended up going with a new system after talking with Trevor and seeing all the issues found, it only seemed to make sense rather what the previous company had told us. Highly recommend them!

I wish I could give Morrow Mechanical 10 stars. I bought this home new in 2017 and up until 2022 when I switched to Morrow Mechanical, I got satisfactory service or less. . I had a problem with my unit on Friday, called Morrow Mechanical and on Saturday, Josh Cover, a techician angel, came out. He diagnosed the problem, explained it in a way at 67 years old I understood, made me feel like I mattered as a customer and fixed the problem so my units cooled again. Josh returned today on time to make sure I didnt lose refrierant over the weekend and did some other maintenance work that needed to be done. He again answered any questions I had and because of his knowlege, professionalism and willingness to serve me as a customer, I can rest easy knowing I am in good hands with Morrow Mechanical. I only hope he continues to service my units as again he is a hard working angel who cares about his customers. Jim checked out my air conditioner units for the usual spring check up. He showed up on time, did a thorough check of the two units in the attic. He replaced a bulb that needed to be replaced. The went outside to check the condition of the units outside on the ground.He cleaned them up and then came inside the house and thoroughly explained all the different things he had done to keep everything in good working order. I have complete confidence in the work Jim performed and plan on continuing my relationship with Morrow in the future.

We have used them exclusively for heating air conditioning services for the last 5 years and since we moving into this town home. It is always daunting taking a stab at requesting service but we needed new units in our home and they installed both over a two year period. Yes, it was costly but A/C is needed in Houston.When one unit failed after a short period (2.5 - 3 years) we were worried but they came out and found what was determined to be a bad part from the manufacturer. Warranty was still in effect. Labor was costly but ...A/C is needed in Houston.Just a month later a compressor for that same unit went out. We were devastated! We complained and they listened. The advanced tech, (Andy Smith) came out immediately and within hours had located and installed a new compressor that was on Warranty and not charged us the labor for hours of work due to the apparent and faulty compressor.Relieved, satisfied and cool! In less than 24 hours our crazy emotional roller coaster ride about $$$, time, and Houston heat were all behind us, primarily due to Mr. Smith.His attitude and his expertise was exceptional. No tricks, just calm explanation of what was going to have to be done.Yes, were still scared about calling service companies to come into our home and provide services and then ride off into the sunset but well be a customer to Morrow Mech. for a long time because they did the right thing rather than what we are aware that others have done in similar circumstances.Thanks Andy... hope we dont see you for awhile but we know who to call for heating and A/C service in the years to come.John and Arlie.
