Had our AC and heater replaced by Moodys, really happy with the clear communication and quality work. Tyler and his team were able to do the entire replacement in under 5 hours. Will definitely work with Moodys in the future for ongoing maintenance and future projects.

We appreciated the responsiveness, reasonable prices, and general no-BS feeling of working with this family business. Gary is a character, refreshingly honest and definitely knows his stuff. He was able to do a leak check and diagnose our faulty evaporator coil in the attic for not much more than the trip charge alone from some of the big companies. Appreciated his frank assessment of the pros and cons of temporarily topping off with coolant vs. a $$$ evap coil replacement vs. a $$$$$ complete system replacement.In the end we didn’t go with Moody’s for the new system, but their price was competitive (they install Carrier btw), and it’s nice to know they’re an official contractor for the city’s rebate program. We would absolutely recommend Moody’s for an honest non-salesy diagnosis, a second opinion if you get the sneaking feeling you’re getting ripped off on a quote from another company, or a repair on an out-of-warranty system.

Echo the comments made here! -- but Ill add more: a few years back, we replaced one of our systems (two stories, two units). This year, we replaced the second one and used Moodys (not sure what insanity hit the first time that we didnt use them) -- and even though they didnt do the first one, during this second install, they also serviced the older one (replacing a capacitor after checking it) and even added extra insulation around both units (picture), and installed a generator hard start all for no extra charge.

I found out my AC went out when I got back from vacation. My mother-in-law recommended Moodys AC & heating and I was pleasantly surprised.I think I reached the owners wife on her birthday, but she still took the time to ensure that a technician was able to get out and see us, for which I am very grateful.Further, the technician was able to diagnose the problem (which was an easy fix that I missed) and specifically showed me how to monitor and fix the issue from occurring again in the future.They were timely, customer-oriented, and responsive. I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them for anyone else having AC/Heating issues.

The whole team at Moody’s is fantastic. Lori is super responsive and so friendly. I’ve used them twice during peak hot/cold weather and they have come out within 24hrs both times. Gary, Tyler and Zach are all extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Everyone at Moody’s is super caring and easy to work with. I highly recommend this local, family owned company!

Moodys has been great to work with. Not only were they willing able to make same day or next day appointments, but also gave some DIY recommendations, even though I was willing to pay them to come out. I won’t use another AC company.

I literally cant say enough good things. Gary is extremely knowledgeable and personable. The 5 star reputation is because hes the real deal.Update: About 15 months ago, Gary installed a complete system for me, and recently, it stopped working. I tried every trick I knew, but to no avail. Deciding it was time for professional help, I called to schedule a repair. To my surprise, Lori, despite being on vacation, called me back that Friday afternoon. Together with Gary, they jumped on the phone with me to troubleshoot. Within minutes, they pinpointed the issue—which, as it turned out, was due to a mistake on my end. With just a short phone call, they saved me hundreds that would have been spent on a service call. Truly, these are wonderful people! Theyve earned themselves a loyal customer for life.

You see a place that has all 5 star reviews and you think it might a scam, but no Moodys is amazing. Ive used them a couple times now and they are always incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Not to mention the best part, they want to help you! Lot of AC places will do anything to push you to a new unit and Moodys understands thats not doable for most people and want to give you the best solution for the money. Cannot recommend enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Moodys! The whole staff is very professional and knowledgable. They installed a new unit for us 2 years ago and since then have assisted us with some duct issues, drainage and advice on when to change filters. Whether its on the phone or in person theyre friendly and informative, on time and they make you feel like youre a priority to them, even though they have other jobs to get to.

Great service from delightful people!I have only good things to say about Lori and Gary Moody. There’s was the second quote I received about my air conditioner. And it was $3000 less than the first quote I got. But more than that Gary did a bit of service and assures me that there is no reason to replace my air conditioner at this time. These people will be my go to AC/heat folks forever. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This company is amazing! With high demand right now because of the heat, they were able to send Tyler out and get us taken care of in record time. By the time he left, we couldnt even tell he was there, except the unit is working great! Moodys is now my go-to for all of my heating and a/c needs. I give them 5 stars because They really are that good and reasonably priced. Give Lori a call and then you decide if they are truly a 5!

Gary Moody is one of the finest men I know, and has been our Air Conditioning and Heating professional for over 20 years. He is fair and reasonable, and deals in a quality product. Gary has, without exception, been there to bail me out of every emergency, and I cannot recommend him more enthusiastically! His wife, Lori, is wonderful, too, and handles the phones for his office. A great team.

Our AC made an awful noise. I called Moody’s and they were able to come out within an hour of calling. The motor had gone bad. We are the new owners of the home but the old owner uses Moody’s too. They were able to help us out on the cost a bit due to the warranty on the unit. Great honest company. They will be my AC company from here on out!

Gary and his wife, Lori, understand the importance of air conditioning and do their best to rearrange non-emergent appointments so theyre able to fit in emergencies (like having a broken air conditioner in July in Texas). Lori was quick to respond and set up a free service call to check everything out and I had my whole system replaced the very next morning. I was incredibly grateful because another company told me it would be 5-6 days before they could replace it (and assured me all the other a/c companies would likely have the same schedule). Garys quote was also about half of the other company who was trying to sell me stuff I didnt need. Gary and his crew did a great job, went above and beyond to make my system as efficient as possible (including moving the outside unit away from the dryer vent), and left my garage much cleaner than it even started out. I had zero concerns leaving them to work while I went and enjoyed a/c elsewhere. They are a wonderful, honest, and family-run company and I highly recommend them for all your a/c and heating needs!

I had a great experience with Moody A/C and strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for A/C service. The technician (Jake) was super friendly, very thorough and patiently answered all of our questions as we watched him inspect/service our A/C unit.What makes Moody A/C exceptional to me is the communication - they texted me the 2 hour window when I should expect the technician to arrive the day before the service. This was the same 2 hour window I was promised when I originally scheduled the service (that does not happen all the time - yes, Im talking to you Spectrum Cable). Then they texted me again when he was on his way. Everything was handled conveniently on-line without any confusion, hassle or unnecessary follow-up.

I have uses them twice and they have been fast to service and repair my system. Once my AC went out in July and my son was 6 weeks old. They had me repair within 24 hours with a reasonable cost. I will continue to use them for all my heating and AC needs.

I came home at 4:40 on Friday in late July to no air conditioning in the house. It was 104 outside, so my first thought was to figure out what hotel I was going to for the night, but I called Moody’s and Lori told me they could get a tech out the same afternoon. Within a couple of hours I had working AC again. Gary was very professional and fixed the problem quickly for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Had these guys out once or twice over that last few years. The last time was a couple days ago. My wife called them when our upstairs unit stopped cooling. They said they could have someone come over by a certain time -- and the doorbell rang at *exactly* the time they said. They looked at the problem, fixed with a $200 part. And everyone was happy. Contrast to my co-workers similar story of where the repair person claimed a $2,000 bill and it still wasnt fixed (in Austin) when they left... Moodys had an opportunity here to fleece us out of a lot more money, but they didnt. Theyre honest, quick, and proficient. Thank you!
