    I am so glad I reached out to HomeSafe for my dryer vent cleaning needs.I had been having an issue with my dryer not completely dry my clothes. It took about two or three cycles for my clothes to NOT come out damp.Initially I reached out to the company using the chat feature. Dont remember which platform Google (?) Nextdoor (?)In any case, I set my appointment and Justin came out to resolve my issue.He took his time to problem-solve the issue with my dryer appliances as well as the infrastructure of the ventilation.He made several helpful suggestions on how to improve the efficiency of my dryer appliance as well as the safety of my home.He brought along several products to add on to my service, but with no pressure at all to buy.He took his time to explain particulars of my laundry room use and how to prevent issues in the future.He was very knowledgeable and paid attention to my concerns.He respected my home and my pets during his service visit.Im very pleased with my service and will be using them in the future when I am able to budget for the suggested upgrades.I am sharing pictures of my before and after pics which I am delighted to see he was able to share with me afterwards.

    I live in an apartment complex and my landlord wasn’t willing to help maintain or clean the clothes dryer that was in the unit. Thankfully HomeSafe came to the rescue! The technician was on time for the appointment, very courteous, and expertly identified the cause of my dryer problems. He even pulled the dryer completely out to clean behind it when I didn’t think that was possible, given the size of the apartment.     I had a nasty situation with the dryer vent. I had two other dryer vent companies come to inspect but they couldn’t resolve the issue. One recommended HomeSafe. I am so glad that they did. Ozzy showed up and thoroughly investigated the situation and presented two options. We decided to change the vent location and made the vent pipe from 21. Feet to 5 feet. It released my future concerns. He is very professional and pleasant to work with . I recommend this company

    Jacob called to let us know that he was about 20 minutes from our house. He was on time and extremely courteous. He explained the inspection process and would discuss the charges after his inspection. He was very thorough and never made us feel pressured to do more than we were comfortable with. He was very personable and totally impressed us with his before and after vent pictures and dryer air flow readings. My wife was really impressed with the way he cleaned the area around the dryer.     I was having an issue where the dryer lint from my drying was blowing into the attic. Also, I knew my dryer vent had never been cleaned in the 7 years I have lived in my house so I wanted to get it cleaned. The Technician (Virasay) was very professional and informative. He analyzed the situation and we discussed my options. He removed the screens on the roof vent. These screens were not original to the roof vent I have. Those screens had been placed there a few years ago by an exterminator who, at that time, thought it was an access point for rats to get into my attic. Since these screens were now causing lint to backup into my attic, we removed them. He explained to me that the roof vent I have on my house is not specifically designed to be used as a dryer vent. We discussed my options to replaced the roof vent which I am still considering. I also had him replace my Foil Flex dryer hose with an Aluminum Flex hose which seemed to be a much more safer and efficient hose. He did a great job cleaning my dryer vent and the before and after pictures and before and after air flow comparisons were great. I highly recommend this company.

    I had an excellent experience. Justin, our technician, was professional and courteous and provided a thoughtful and detailed analysis. I was provided with many options but never felt pressured at all. Anyway, back to the work. As I would guess with many homes, my vent and connecting hose were rather dirty. Their cost to clean the vent line is certainly in line with competitors. Further inspection yielded more alarming concerns with my home; Im glad they called them. Not surprisingly, my builder or contractors did a sloppy job on the vent installation, and whoever inspected it missed it. I had vent screens on the wrong vents and a vent system that shifted with the roof - all in all, I was sitting in a safety hazard (not his words, but my thoughts). Anyway, well get that sorted out with another appointment, but the pictures from the inspection prove that I needed some work done. Also, after washing some loads, the current work has already yielded improvement. Loads dry in half the time, and the laundry room is free of excessive heat.

    HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning did a fantastic job!I had left my dryer vent open for some time after birds pecked out the vent cover. Instead of immediately replacing it, I figured I would replace it when I got around to it. Unfortunately for me, that was a poor decision on my part seeing as the birds that pecked out the vent cover then built a 6ft long nest of rotting vegetation in the vent. Thanks to HomeSafe a Technician came out the next day (after my new dryer communicated the problem to me of complete blockage) and fixed my problem. The Technician was very informative and helpful.     Justin came out to my apartment unit was having issues with my dryer always shutting off after it starts. He was able to get it fixed pretty fast and clean up the area after. Give me some recommendation to use dryer balls over fabric softener. He is really a good person and highly recommend.

One of the firsts things he said was “I’m gonna show you what I see (during the inspection) and then you can decide from there.” This statement made me feel like the power of deciding was really in my hands and they weren’t gonna push any service on to me.Turned out my dryer vent was good!     My last dryer vent cleaning was over 5 years ago, so I was concerned that lint buildup might be occurring (I have seen how easy and fast lint burns). Cameron did an excellent and thorough job inspecting my dryer vent. He determined that it was still in good condition and no cleaning was necessary at this time. Therefore, I was only charged the customary inspection fee. I bet a lot of other companies would have been willing to do the unnecessary work and charge me for it. Ozzy, their technician, carefully checked everything from dryer to roof, took detailed pictures of the vent so that I could see for myself the vent condition, and pronounced the system good to go.     Our dryer was taking two cycles to dry a load of clothes, at least, and we thought maybe the heating element was going bad, but HomeSafe determined there was nothing wrong with the machine. Due to build-up in the system, it just wasnt efficient. We were able to get two guys, Cameron and Joseph, from HomeSafe to come out and clean at every point of the system: from the dryer itself, which probably has never had this level of clean for 30 years, to the vent hose, through the ducting that travels from the wall to our roof, and also at the opening in the roof. They documented everything with photos and the results were phenomenal. The system is so much cleaner and more efficient now. Our dryer works better than it ever has! They were very polite and professional throughout the process and communicated well. We really appreciate how well this business is being operated. There are some really good people involved.

    Im embarrassed to admit the following but in the name of safety Im compelled to disclose that my dryer vent was so clogged my dryer wasnt performing anymore. I had two repair people out and both said nothing was wrong. The third one asked if I had cleaned my dryer vent recently. I replied that the house and dryer were both only 5 years old and laundry consists of two peoples clothes. It wasnt necessary.In steps Ozzy from Homesafe and my eyes were opened. Our roof vent was totally blocked and the pipe was full. Also our dryer connection to vent was crushed by me trying to push my dryer closer to the wall. After a 30 minute detailed inspection at the wall and on my roof plus photos I realized my assumptions about dryer vent cleaning were wrong. Thank you for helping us dodge a fire or replacement of an overheated 5 year old dryer. Check your dryer vents friendsAnd use Homesafe without wasting time. Btw Ozzy replaced that bulky crushed wall connection with one that allows my dryer to fit against the wall now.

    Justin was just awesome. I had them come out in February to have my dryer vent cleared out. It was discovered a squirrel was taking residence in my vent that was causing the issues. Justin recommended a new vent cover to keep them out. I gave it several months to ensure it would work and very happy to say it was been working perfectly! I was also given recommendations on updating my vent set up as it is not ideal at all. I appreciated how up front and honest he was with not trying to sell me on just the most expensive option just to make a buck. Its so hard to find that lately!

    Justin did a great job taking care of my dryer. He went on the top of the roof and found out that the roofers installed the wrong exit vent. Took about an hour and half to fix the problem. Also replaced the hoses to the washer, with a better one. He also gave some good advice on how to take care of the dryer. Thank you Justin!

    I’m so glad I found out about this company through my neighbors recommendation. I recently found out that my parents house dryer vent has been venting into the attic in a house they’ve been living over 15yrs. You can imagine the shock. As soon as I called this company and they sent their technician, Louis for an assessment of the situation my shock turned into hope. Louis is a perfect definition of what you call a professional. He reassured me that the problem could be fixed and laid out multiple options on the table. He even showed me pictures of a previous job but more complex that he had done. We had to reroute the whole dryer to a new location which included drilling a hole through brick for the new vent. He was very meticulous and I can tell he cares about doing the job right.     I have a new dryer vent cleaning company now!! Received my free estimate that left me thinking, Man! After this experience, Ill be back!. The technician was very professional. He took and showed me pictures of everything as he went. He explained everything in laymans terms, and actually had technical devices that he used and explained the readings, where they should be, etc. If this company was this thorough for my free estimate, I cant imagine what theyll do for paid services! I had just had my dryer vent cleaned, and the dryer was still malfunctioning. I didnt trust that the previous company had done a proper job, but it turns out, they did. Homesafe could have easily bilked me and went ahead and charged me unnecessarily. The technician did not. He were honest and ended up walking away after only the free estimate. He also shared info on next steps, which he didnt have to do. Helpful. Courteous. Professional. And most importantly, HONEST. If youre looking for dryer vent service, look no more.     Extremely happy with the service! I had my dryer repaired and the repair person suggested that I had the vent cleaned. Never really thought of it... I called HomeSafe in the morning, they were able to schedule me on the same day. The technician was extremely nice and helpful. He showed me pictures of the situation (which was pretty bad) and explained everything in detail. Then he showed me pictures of the after. It was really satisfying to see how clean the vent was and that the airflow had improved tremendously. I know I will save on my electric bill. Highly recommend this company!

    Ive never cleaned my dryer vent, I never thought this was a thing until our dryer broke and started smoking up. We bought a new dryer thinking this was the issue, the smoke continued. I was referred to Homesafe by a family member who uses them. Jordan was very professional and knew what the problem was. I didnt realize how close our house was to a fire hazard. Safety is very important. Glad we got this issue fixed. Jordan spent about an hour cleaning the vents and replacing all parts. It was all clogged up. He advised me on what to do didnt try to sell me things I didnt need like most vendors do. My experience with HomeSafe was very good and much needed.     Our LG display indicated air flow was restricted and required dryer vent clean out. First I contacted LG and they do not do that. Googled Dryer Vent Cleaning and HomeSafe jumped out with great reviews on YELP and GOOGLE. Reviewed their web site (highly recommended for info) and called them. Discussed the matter with Sue (super Customer Service!) and received a Service Call with an excellent tech (Justin). My air flow measured 5 fps and optimum is 20. Once on the roof, he found my vent was heavy with lint from the opening down to the dryer. Scrubbed the whole vent down to the Vac at the dryer. Air flow reading 23.4. Put a load into the dryer and it was done in HALF THE TIME. Was not aware that vent pipes required preventive maintenance about every 3 years. This company is definitely worthy of 5-star reviews and we recommend them without reservation. Dont let a lint fire in your dryer ruin your day.

    They discovered that my vent was completely clogged and that the builders had installed the wrong type of vent for a dryer. He relocated the vent to another location and installed the correct type. The installer was on time and very knowledgeable. I do not believe I wouldve gotten this type of service from someone who only cleans vents. If he wouldve simply cleaned the vent it wouldve been clogged again within a year.Now my dryer is useful again.

    The Best Dryer Vent service I ever experienced (and I have owned many homes). The technician (Louie) was extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. He had the right equipment, checked the air flow rate before and after, took pictures inside the vents (before & after), and shared them with me. Their scheduling reps were also so friendly and helpful.Their pricing is reasonable (especially for the quality service). You might find cheaper pricing elsewhere, but you will wind up getting what you pay for. Dryer Vent Service is all Homesafe does, and they know how to do it right.

    My dryer hasnt been working right for a while. At the suggestion of the appliance repair person, it appeared to be more of an airflow issue/lint issue than my actual dryer. I contacted HomeSafe and they scheduled for the next morning in a two-hour window. I appreciated the 20-30 minute heads up that they were on their way.Technician arrived, professional throughtout. The estimate was free. He provided pictures of my duct work to show the clogs/restricted airflow. He also showed me where my aluminum tubing from dryer to wall was already holey (after only a year).Of course he had a replacement but a hybrid version that wont crush or get holey.I authorized the work and he was here about an hour and fifteen. He provided pics of the after and air flow meter reading. He suggested a new roof vent that would be better. There was no pressure to do it today. But duly noted, and I see the reasoning why that one would be better.Overall, I am pleased with the service. I cant wait to do laundry again to see how well things dry now!

    I was very pleased with the job they did. Justin was the repairman that came by. I appreciated how he showed me before and after pictures of the repairs and allowed me to save the pictures afterwards. Initially, he came out to clean the dryer vents, and while inspecting, he advised me about other issues that could use fixing. I did not see this as a ploy for him to make more money but an honest concern from his part to share what issues he saw in the attic since he showed me the pictures. He was patient to answer the questions I had and did not pressure me to fix the other issues he noticed. I liked how he graded the different issues and advised if the fix was more urgent or could wait. The prices were reasonable and definitely worth it considering their candor. I recommend their service to others and am encouraged to have dealt with an honest repairman and company, which unfortunately is not easy to find today.

    I was referred to Home Safe and I gave them a call. Home Safe sent someone over. I received professional service. I received before and after photos. There was a lent issue, moisture (water puddle underneath dryer) and I had to use more drying time to dry loads. everything that had to was done in a timely manner. The before and after pictures proved to me that I got my moneys worth. My dryer work more efficiently, it uses less drying time per load and I am less concerned about any dryer fires starting. I received some proactive maintenance information so that my dryer can last longer.

    Jacob and Shelby are great in coordinating the service. But, a big thanks to Louie who came out to complete a much-needed update to my dryer vent system.     Great company, does a good job, they are very professional phone service and technical service. They clean my dryer vents and unclogged it. They used a vacuum and a wire brush on a drill which is very effective tools for the job. The technician was very professional, he wore booties, answered all my questions I would highly recommend them. I found them to be pricey. (Owner did call me for some feedback which is awesome!) After doing some more research on pricing, I would say theyre more on par with larger companies on pricing. there are smaller one-man operations that can run a little bit cheaper but you never know the equipment they have.

    I received a recommendation for this business from Angies List and the Next Door app. I tried to clean out the dryer vent myself (vents vertically to roof) and the brush became detached from the rods. I scheduled online at their website and the technician was able to visualize the brush using his camera. The brush was extracted (got stuck at a bend in the vent) and more lint came out. He also checked the airflow at the roof, which was good, and replaced the dryer hose with my permission (extra charge) with a shorter, stronger, aluminum hose. He also advised the roof vent be replaced since it was not appropriate for my roof. I just wish their price was lower. Other than that, I am happy with the service.

    We called because our dryer was taking more than one cycle to completely dry a load. Justin called to let me know he was on his way and was prompt and courteous.     I had Homesafe to clean my dryer, unfortunately, there were a couple other issues to take care of. The technician was knowledgable and not pushy. What I did appreciate the most though was the conversation I had with the owner (Jacob) when I had a question/issue. His customer service was impressive as he was engaged and thoughtful in his approach to my question. My question had nothing to do with the service provided by the technician. I will continue to use Homesafe and recommend them to friends.

    I can offer my enthusiastic recommendation for this dryer vent cleaning company! They were professional, prompt, courteous, and (I conclude) ethical in every way. The technician was thorough and kept me apprised of each and every aspect of the process, from start to finish. Recommendations were offered, but not in a pushy way, and the cleaning was completed in a timely and thorough fashion. Thank you for a job well done! My only suggestion: Consider offering a referral discount/bonus for customers who might want to pass along your number. It will be several years before I need to use your service again, so a 20% discount for me on future services would be of little to no use now. A price break for friends or family members referred to your company, however, would be much more meaningful.

    Some air conditioning guys doing maintenance told me i mighthave a dryer vent problem since the attic was really dusty. Theydid not do those kind of repairs.     HomeSafe cleaned our Dryer Vent 4 years ago. Recently, we purchased a new dryer. After a few days, we decided the drying was taking too long and called HomeSafe to again clean our Dryer Vent. HomeSafes tech showed us that our air flow was restricted, but simply because the hose, having been replaced when the new dryer was installed, was too long and was kinked. I was pleasantly surprised when he fixed the problem and told us there would be NO CHARGE because it was simply an inspection (the vent to the roof was still clelan).Now thats the kind of company I want to do business with. Needless to say, HomeSafe Vent Cleaning has my highest possible recommendation.

    My husband and I purchased our first home together a few short months ago. Since hes from Boston, MA, and Ive only rented apartments, weve had (and still will have) so much to learn about opening and properly maintaining a home. Prior to moving, our washer and dryer both worked well without any issues. Once we moved in, we noticed that the dryer was taking an outrageously long time to dry out clothes. We werent sure if something was damaged or josseled in the move, but nothing else was damaged by our movers and it didnt have any visible damage. Prior to spending several hundred dollars on a new dryer, we thought we would get the dryer vent checked to make sure it wasnt plugged.I found Home Safe Dryer Vent Cleaning through Google and verified their credibility through Angies List prior to calling for an estimate. I called & emailed a total of 3 companies on a Friday morning. I received a call back from Home Safe within the hour and the professional and cheerful gentleman offered to arrange his schedule to come by for a free estimate same day. He not only called 20 minutes prior to arriving, but was spot on exactly at the house by the time he originally quoted in the morning. (Thats already better than any other vendor weve dealt with in our new home)The inspector was so knowledgable, but also very thorough. He looked at the actual dryer cent connection to the wall in my laundry room, got up in the attic, and even on top of the roof - this was all included in the FREE estimate (I cant even get a free estimate / diagnostic on my car and I drive it to them!)Upon inspection, we found out that our dryer vent wasnt even intended to be a dryer vent! It was standard attic ventilation that had been retrofit to also include the dryer exhaust. The issue with that was two fold. 1- the escape hatch for the air was not allowing for dust or partials to be released, but was intended as air flow only. 2- the attic ventilation was exceptionally close to the plumbing pipe (Im sure I might have that mixed up, but just know it was close to a pipe that has moisture). Needless to say, the house shouldnt have passed inspection on this item as it violates building code.We were presented with two options at this point. We could clean the vent and leave everything as is, or we could move the dryer vent to a separate / dedicated line as it should have been initially. When j was first told of the severity of the issues on the roof, I was picturing dollar signs racking up. The estimate was much less than I anticipated. I was thinking $1500, but the work was a fraction of that cost.The estimate was done on a Friday, and I had a detailed proposal including a scope of work by Monday morning. The team also arranged to have the work done for us by Monday evening due to the upcoming holiday!There is literally nothing I could find to complain about from start to finish, and nothing j would have done better if it were my own business. Great team they have there!Not only was the team knowledgeable, but they were courteous and eager to please. I would recommend this business to all my friends and family. I hope youll try them out!
