We had 30 years worth of dryer vent problems at our old house. When our new dryer in our new house signaled, ‘check vent’ we searched for a dryer vent EXPERT and we found them! Great experience from first phone call, to discussing venting issues at our old house we need to sell and the current problem with the owner, to our experience with Ozzie on the day he came to fix our vent. HomeSafe really is the best, they know what they are talking about and make sure you understand it too.

I wont ever use another company, except these exceptional dryer vent experts for my dryer vent cleaning. Justin took pictures of every issue and discussed them in detail with me and made recommendations to make our house as safe as possible. Justin gave me so many tidbits: washing my dryer lint holder with soap and water regularly; use a dryer brush regularly; dont use dryer sheets, because they tend to clog up dryer lint holes. He cleaned my dryer up from the lint and it looks brand new again. We recently got a new roof and they installed a cheap dryer vent on our roof. Justin replaced it with a quality one that would prevent rodents from getting into our house. He educated me on replacing the water hoses attached to my washing machine in a timely manner to prevent them from leaking down the road. I feel that my home is as safe as possible with everything working and in great condition. THANK-YOU JUSTIN! Job well done.

HomeSafe technician, Louie was professional, personable and thorough. It was amazing how much lint has accumulated and clogged the roof dryer vent outlet. For some reason its prevalent in TX for vent outlets to go up thru the roof. It wouldve been much easier if it went out a side wall for easier cleaning (like our previous homes in IL). The pictures, amazingly enough, is just from a 4-1/2 year buildup. The only thing that kept this from a 5-star review was that theyre pricey IMO ($228) which included a replacement dryer vent duct ($59+).

Terrific experience all around. Louie was extremely professional and explained each step of the process thoroughly.Our dryer had been taking an abnormally long time to finish for several months and had started throwing a D90 code. According to the dryers documentation, this code indicates the air vent is 90% restricted.I attempted to clean the dryer and vent from inside our utility room several times and found little to no lint build up. I decided to bring in a professional before calling an appliance repair company. Louie arrived on time, detailed the process, and then tested and examined each item involved with the dryers vent system. He took numerous photos and before doing any work went over my options.After going over the photos, it was clear our vent was almost completely clogged with lint at the vent cap and the vent piping showed that it had not been cleaned in years. Louie also offered some additional ways to improve our vent performance beyond just cleaning. We decided to take advantage of some of these improvements in an effort to get our dryer back to working as it should. Im glad we decided to do so, as our dryer has never worked as well as it does today.I am planning to have Homesafe come out at least every couple of years to make sure our vent is in proper operating condition.

I had my dryer vent cleaned out a couple of years ago by a “professional” company so when my dryer kept taking longer and longer to dry a load of laundry, I figured I needed a new one. However, once I tried to dry a load in the new dryer, I kept getting a message to clean the vent. I called HomeSafe and they were able to get out the next day. Jordan did an excellent job explaining the problem and providing photo evidence of what needed to be cleaned and that he cleaned it. Apparently the other company just managed to compact all the lint in one place and it eventually blocked out the entire vent. Good thing my house didn’t catch on fire. I wish I had called HomeSafe before I purchased a new dryer. Everything works great now and my loads get dried quickly.

My dryer stopped working--it was heating up, but clothes werent drying, so I had HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning come out to clean the vent. It turns out that the builder put in the pipe, but never built a vent to the outside. So it was all blowing into an eave--for 17 years! HomeSafe figured out the problem, traced the pipe to see where it led, cleaned it all, then installed a new vent. Excellent service!

Extremely professional company. The technician called 30 minutes before the appointment to let us know he was on his way. He did a great inspection of the vents and roof. I thought the dryer vent was not working because it needed to be cleaned. The technician was honest and told me a cleaning would not solve the problem. He showed me some pictures of the vent and pipes in the attic, which need to be replaced. They did not charge me to troubleshoot my problem. Extremely honest, dependable and professional company. Thank you for the help diagnosing the real problem. He even gave some tips on how to better maintain our dryer. Thank you! We will call again when it is time to clean the dryer vent. *****UPDATE**** We bought this home and had the company come out and replace the pipes that were too small. I just finished doing laundry and it works amazing. It was a big job to make these pipes compliant with code and our personal demand. I am happy to report the dryer is working perfectly. Also the tech said we should not need a cleaning for 5 years. They send you a link for pictures of the work they did. My wife really liked that, because she will never step foot in our attack lol.

Our dryer was having problems with the air flow into the vent. Justin’s inspection showed that a bend in the long vent tube leading to the roof and the roof vent had lint accumulating in it. He cleaned it all out and replaced the roof vent to one more appropriate for a dryer. He also replaced the transition tube behind the dryer to a much better tube and connection. Justin provided explanation of the process and documented it all with pictures. Very thorough and knowledgable! Highly recommend. Already used the dryer and it’s not having any issues as before. There services are expensive. But their work is very professional. The technician was here for three hours. He installed less than $100.00, retail, of new parts. He thoroughly cleaned all the vent work. And took before and after pictures to prove the work. That cost was $961.26. That is $287.00 an hour for labor and tools. I am a retired electrician. I never could justify that in my profession. I am on fixed income and that is a half a months wages for me. This review was posted on 4/1/2024. I was contacted by a gentleman named Jacob on 4/2/2024 that is the GM for HomeSafe and he informed me that something had went wrong with their operational process and I was overcharged by $260.OO, and wanted to refund that to me. So I set up for him to come do my Mother and Laws house. The same technician showed up. I think his name is Cameron. He did another 5-star job on her house. She had been complaining about excessive dust in the house. He found where not only did the roofer not reconnect the vent on the roof to the exhaust vent duct (in 2016) but it had a sever reduction in it also. She was only flowing 1.5Scfm which is not the minimum of 2 recommended. So he replaced the roof vent with a Dryer Jack, connected the duct properly, put the best exhaust hose on the dryer to the wall duct and increased the total flow to 4.1Scfm. That is nearly triple the flow. And man does that dryer dry clothes fast now. Cameron was at the house for three hours. The charge was $723.65. That is still expensive but more in line with what I expected it to be for the safety chances and work that had to be done. I recommend that anyone have this done if you have had a roof put on or your home is pre House inspection constructed. I give them 5 stars all the way around. This amended review is good as of 4/9/2024.

The technician called at 6 and informed me he was unfortunately running behind and could either come by very late that evening or they could reschedule me. It was no problem for me to reschedule (honestly I was impressed they had scheduled me for the same day when I didn’t even call them until 2 in the afternoon!). Because of the reschedule, they gave me 10% off which was very nice and unexpected.They came out the next day and I was very happy with the professionalism of the technician. I believe his name was Louie. He cleaned the vent, showed me before and after pictures. He did recommend additional work, since our dryer vents into the attic rather than to the outside, which is not up to code. However, he did not push it at all when I declined, just recommended I think about it for the future. The total cost came out less than the original estimated quote on the phone.I chose this company based solely on the Google reviews, and was not disappointed! Would highly recommend!

Ok, homeowners, your dryer vent is important. Even if you dont think that it is. If you let it go, it can cause a fire, but that is in the extreme. More than anything else, a clogged vent can cost you money, in several ways. My roofer had gone up to fix and replace some shingles, and found lint outside the exhaust, and remove it, then let me know. Thank you, Jesse at Dwell Roofing, you are great. I actually had not realized that the dryer was taking a bit longer to dry than before.Anyway, if your dryer vent goes out through the roof, like mine, or you just arent comfortable cleaning it, then this awesome Company, is for you. They are the bomb in dryer vents. When we first spoke, they gave me the complete run down. All pricing is up front, as best they can, including a potential for roof access charge if they needed to go up there. Well, given the height of my roof, I have gotten used to those words. I mean, I am not going up there, so why should I be surprised. I am about 35 feet ground to roof, with no other way to get up there.They were able to come out the same day. Not that I really needed it that quick, but it is nice to know that if you did, they could. This just happen to work with my schedule that day. My technician, Virasay, was just great. First, he went into the attic, and checked out the layout. He then did a visual from the ground, and probably because my Roofer remove the outside lint, he told me that he didnt need to go on the roof. Now, he could have easily said that he needed to up on the roof, and charged me as such, but something tells me that is just the type of Company they are. I really appreciated that. These days that can be hard to come by. He gave me the firm price then, and I agreed.Virasay took lots of pictures along the way, and explained everything. He had no problem with me tagging along, and asking questions. He offered his advice, and recommendations, and I feel like that he was honest with me, because he didnt push. I hope that I get him again in the future.After the complete cleaning, at a reasonable price. Not cheap, but not over-the-top, either. Not everything cheap is good, and good service is not always the cheapest. I believe that great service, peace of mind, at a reasonable price, is worth the most. My experience has taught me such.To sum up my review, for dryer duct cleaning, look no further. I know I will see HomeSafe Solutions again, for my future cleanings, and I hope that it will be Virasay.

Mr Virosay had several technical and structural issues to resolve and he did an excellent job. My dryer was not working so I called the Maytag repairman. Of course, my Maytag dryer was working perfectly. The dryer vent to the outside of the house was completely blocked. The Maytag repairman referred me to HomeSafe. I called and Home Safe sent someone within two hours after the Maytag repairman left. Less than 45 minutes after his arrival, Garrett Dean identified the problem, removed a birds nest behind the outside vent, and cleaned the vent pipe. Garrett suggested a new straight-line vent be installed from my dryer to the wall vent since the current one was bent and damaged. Garrett Dean was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I live in an apartment complex, and own my own washer/dryer. I twice had the complex management office send a maintenance guy to clean out the dryer ventilation leading from my dryer to the output vent outside.
