We had a blockage in our dryer vent. I called Homesafe this morning (5/2/2024) to inquire on getting it cleaned. Ozzy showed up and was extremely professional. He performed his initial inspection and explained in detail the price it would be to elevate the issue. Not only did we agree to have him clean the dryer vent, which had a massive birds nest in it, but also replace the external vent cover. I would strongly recommend Ozzy and Homesafe Dryer Vent Specialist.

I highly recommend HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning. Every contact with me was very professional and they were easy to work with. The price was reasonable and the work done was extremely thorough. The technician took detailed pictures before and after the cleaning which gave me confidence the job was done right. Im sure the electricity needed to dry clothes will be significantly reduced and will pay for this service in the long run, but more importantly, will prevent a more drastic outcome, such as a fire.

Our experience with HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning was exceptional from beginning until the end. We initially contacted HomeSafe to come out and clean our dryer vent. Louie, the tech that came to our home, inspected the duct work and the roof vent and determined that it was not only filthy, but that the entire system was an inadequate fire hazard. Louie was very professional, explaining things clearly while also providing multiple pictures of our existing system. He outlined what he would propose doing in order to make our dryer vent functional and, most importantly, safe to use. He emailed me all of the images as well as a detailed invoice. I immediately called HomeSafes office, spoke with Shelbi, and scheduled an appointment for the repair, which was also performed by Louie because he was most familiar with the issues at my home. One week later, and I have a clean, new, safe, and working system! No more running 4 cycles to (almost completely) dry my towels. Better still, I am not worried about the major potential fire hazard. I cannot recommend HomeSafe Dryer enough!I want to also mention and thank Louie and HomeSafe for having great COVID-19 precautions in place to keep both their techs and their clients as safe as possible.

Ozzie the dryer specialist who serviced my dryer was pleasant and very thorough in evaluating the issues with my dryer. Have you ever had your dryer vents cleaned? I have owned my house for about 23 years and never had the dryer vent cleaned. I started to notice some issues with my dryer. I called a company I have used for other services, and they said they could do the job along with air duct cleaning. The company came out and completed the job. However, I continued to have issues with my dryer. I assumed it was now an issue with the dryer since the vent was cleaned. I called the original company, and they came out again, but this time, they said they needed the proper equipment to clean the vent. I contacted HomeSafe on 12/27 and secured an appointment on 12/29. The HomeSafe technician, Justin, arrived on time and was cordial and professional. He completed his evaluation and asked how he could help me with my dryer vent. Justin went above and beyond by showing me before/after pics and providing wind speed--very thorough. Justin even offered some tips and pointers for using my new washer and dryer; this exceeded my expectations of service. I will recommend HomeSafe to anyone asking me about dryer vent cleaning. Within a couple of hours of calling, Ozzy was at our door, and we couldn’t have asked for a friendlier or more knowledgeable person to figure out and fix our dryer vent. We’ve been getting a D80 error code on our dryer for over 6 months. We thought it was a simple prompt to clean the lint filter which we’ve been doing. After doing more online reading, we found out that a clogged dryer vent could be causing the problem.I tried calling a couple of HVAC and AC companies in Dallas but one doesn’t do dryer vents and the other offered it for free if we signed up for an $800 duct and vent cleaning service.We found Home Safe Dryer Vent Specialists and tried to see if they can help us out without costing us an arm and a leg. They responded to my message via Google Maps Chat service and they offered to do a FREE, NO OBLIGATION inspection. There’s usually a catch when companies do this but Home Safe delivered on the promise. They sent us a price range for cleaning services beforehand so if we ever decide to hire them, we’d have a fair idea of the cost which really eased our worries.Home Safe came the next morning, an hour earlier than we initially requested. Cameron was a total professional and explained to us what he would be doing. He laid out all the options and as it turned out, it wasn’t as bad as we first thought. No pressure at all. We’re grateful and have told our friends about them. In fact, one of them is having the same problem and will be calling Home Safe soon.We can only wish all companies operate like Home Safe. HOMESAFE cleaned our dryer and vents 5 years ago and they did such a great job that we called them again. Justin arrived on time and at morning’s end, the dryer vents were cleaned, the big silver hose thing was replaced, the roof vent was replaced with one that will deter birds and my dog made a new friend. Justin made sure to tell me that the replacements he was suggesting were just recommendations and that I could have the cleaning done and that’s it. Thinking that the birds would return and build nest after nest in years to come, I chose to replace vent. I appreciate the time he took to explain things to me and I will use them again. First place called for this service was a no show and then wouldnt answer their phone or return my calls. HomeSafe was a completely opposite positive experience. I sent an email regarding service and was was followed up almost immediately by a very friendly lady who worked with me on scheduling at my convenience. Louie the technician was great. He was running a little late, but called to let me know and still made it in the window I was given. Finished his inspection of my dryer vent and told me it was clean and said it probably wouldnt need cleaned for 3-5 years. Showed me several pictures of my vent and how clean it was. Asked how much for the inspection and he said it was free. I had some questions regarding where my vent exited the house and my dryer vent hose. Louie offered some suggestions and considering the inspection was free had him perform the other services we discussed. I would highly recommend this company for your dryer vent inspection and cleaning needs. You also receive several pictures by email of the inspection and any work performed as soon as the tech completes the work. Honest and doesnt try to sale you something you dont need. Very pleasant experience overall and I would use them again.

HomeSafe is fantastic! Their technician, Louie came to my home and investigated the problem with my dryer. What he found was unbelievable. My home is 9 years old and the dryer venting was 100% blocked. Either the builder or the roofer installed the wrong exhaust vent cover, and the entire exhaust vent was jam packed with lint. I learned that this is a fire hazard, and my dryer would eventually burn out or cause a fire. Makes me wonder if this is why my previous dryer stopped working? I HIGHLY recommend HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning and could not be happier with the results and peace of mind. Louie was very professional, thorough, and personable. On August 5, 2021 the technician, Louie arrived on time and was very respectful wearing a mask and covering his shoes anytime he came in the home. He was very thorough in his inspection. He originally came to clean the dryer vent which to our surprise it was not in need. However, the home being built in the 70s was not up to code with the long vent pipe that went through the house, attic & roof. We were not aware of this since we have owned the home 6 years. My daughter lives in this home and it is important to me to feel it is not a fire hazard. He explained to me how they could address this problem and offered a discount for same day service. I chose to have him replace it with no pressure from him. Louie was very knowledgeable and took many photos of the entire process to show me. Justin was amazing! What I thought would be a simple dryer vent cleaning turned into having to replace the vent hood due to roofer damage and repair the dryer duct due to previous owner DIY repairs. Justin came out and cleaned 21 feet of dryer vent plus inside the dryer. He vacuumed out so much lint that it made a HUGE difference in air flow and dryer effectiveness. My next load of laundry dried in less than half the time I had been used to. A noticeable difference! Very pleased with the results; only wish I had done this sooner! Highly recommend this company. Awesome job. Guys worked on our dryer vent until it was shiny on the inside. We had something blocking the vent and they found another company had left their equipment stuck in our dryer vent. Our clothes dryer did not dry out clothes and our appliance technician identified a blocked dryer exhaust vent as the problem. We hired another firm that came out twice and stated that they cleaned the vent, but our dryer still did not work every time. Finally we called HomeSafe. They found that our tube and vent were NOT clean, and that the roof duct was almost completely blocked. They showed us pictures of before and after. They got to the bottom of the problem and fixed it!

I was very impressed with this company and would indeed use again. Price within norms of others in the business. When making initial appointment call the one taking my call on the phone was very knowledgeable and was quickly able to answer all of my questions. The day of the visit the service agent arrived on time (well a couple of minutes early) and even called prior to the visit to let me know where he was and when to expect. He did the initial inspection and took a lot (55 in all) photographs to help document the process and allowed me to see what all of the issues were to be addressed. He made a couple of recommendation to which I did take but at no time did I fell and .any pressure to take advantage of. A highly professional team and they can count of my continued business going forward.

When I bought the house I was told that the dryer vent on my roof was not the correct one. Called these guys since they had good reviews. They are expensive though but at least I can sleep at night knowing that my dryer vent wont catch on fire for some dumb lint or the wrong vent. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny but theyre knowledgeable in what they do. I would recommend.
