    Green Home Solutions is an awesome partner for diagnosing and investigating your home mold issues! I initially got their voicemail upon calling but received a call back instantly! Erick was very polite and immediately understood the gravity of my situation (this has not been my experience with all mold remediation vendors). He offered to visit my house same day to help me figure out what is going on. He and his coworker were very polite and thorough. I expected them to just use a moisture meter and quickly move from room to room, but they took their time! As they moved through my house, they consistently asked questions and made sure I understood their diagnosis and recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this company and Erick specifically.     Before I start my review I want to add that for reference, in a past life I used to be a dept head at a Home Depot Tool Rental dept and helped advise a lot of people on DIY projects and worked in hospital operations overseeing the construction of new hospitals for one of the big hospitals here in Houston.I looked around and researched a lot of companies before deciding finally with the Green Home Solutions Team and right off the bat they were professional, courteous, and most importantly prompt. Mold in any degree of severity is not a matter to take lightly, especially when it comes to your family at home. Juan was quick to inspect and give me a proposal regarding what he found and felt was necessary to help with the remediation of mold.While some people witnessing inspections this may wonder how they could conclude their diagnosis with a few simple tests, I assure you the quick tests and experience held by their team can legit confirm the presence of mold based on industry standards and confirmed symptoms of mold.Regarding the proposal, I know many people would initially have sticker shock and feel that “I can do it myself…” and to be honest I felt the same way too… until I did an actual cost break down. I would suggest anyone who gets the inspection done and a proposal sent, compare the actual cost piece by piece of equipment rental (I’m sure most people don’t keep HEPA filter air scrubbers or industrial dehumidifiers in their garage), remediation solution, and consider the time you vs. a team coming into to finish the task and see if that cost is actually offset by doing it yourself. One of the most impressive parts of their service was that they sealed and created a confined barrier space (see pictures) to help contain the area where they treated for mold. The barrier was made from thick contractor grade plastic sheeting, not the flimsy plastic painters sheeting that some people use to block paint from hitting the floor. Again with materials, air scrubbers and the dehumidifier rentals, that alone is a big chunk of cost in this project.They were open to conversation about any concerns and did not give off the “ I’m the pro here…” vibes that some companies may give off at any time during our service. I cannot speak for all the satisfied customers regarding cost, but the break down showed that all things considered, leave it to the pros who guarantee’s their work. They were transparent in what they found, plan to do, and following up. The team came out during the recent artic cold front we had in Texas and worked in the sleeting weather and throughout it all was very accommodating to my family that was stuck at home due to the weather. Their service and attitude gave my family and me the reassurance that we’re trusting the pro’s to help with our (small) mold problem and as cliché’ as it may sound makes their services worth every cent.Green Home Solutions team, 100% would recommend.

    Green Home team is amazing. They did such a great job in treating mold in my air vents. They went above and beyond to clean and put everything super clean before they left. I have had air duct scam and lost money before so I was very skeptical to select air duct company. I trust Green Home Solutions with EPA registered products.     These folks are 5 star best in class. We had a jacuzzi tub leak and a shower leak. I called 3 companies to come out and quote. Green Home Solutions was the most professional, most comprehensive in what they do and best price. They did an incredible job of remediating all the damage along with disinfecting our home from top to bottom. I’ve never breathed better in my home as I did when they were finished. Great communication keeping me informed and patient with all my crazy concerns/requests. Juan, Erik, Ariana and the entire cleaning team were outstanding. I totally trust and appreciate them all and highly recommend. They will be my go to for home services going forward.

    Erick and his crew were great!     I called Green Home solutions to help with mold remediation especially because they dont use harsh chemicals and all the cleaning solutions are Green and natural!! They were very prompt on response and got me an appointment within a short time!! They did a great job cleaning the first time but unfortunately for me the mold was very bad and we didnt pass. But Erick and Juan came back and went through extensive work to ensure that the mold was gone. Over a period of three weeks of drying the house with fans and also a dehumidifier we finally passed!!     I used Erick and his team for HVAC duct cleaning and the HVAC coil mold removal. Not wanting to invest into a new HVAC coil, i went with Green solutions for their solid reviews and use of organic products. They did an amazing job. Probably i could have got it done cheaper but i needed the peace of mind that the work had been properly done. It took a three person team almost 5 hrs which helps justify their quality and price. They also did cooktop vent and dryer vent cleaning within the agreed price.

    Having mold in your home can be a stressful experience to say the least. When you add in contractors, it is hard for the average person to know if a) your home is being remediated correctly and b) you are not being ripped off in the process.Given my wife’s health issues, we were in the unenviable position of having to consult with mold specialists around the country prior hiring a contractor. When Erick started working on our home, he had no idea of the prior research we completed yet immediately earned our trust with his thorough, thoughtful remediation approach. Simply put, Erick at Green Home Solutions went above and beyond our exceedingly high expectations and we cannot recommend him enough. There were several instances where he could have cut corners and most people would not have noticed, but he never did. Furthermore, the final bill was more than fair given the quality of work.If you have mold in your home, look for someone that a) you can trust and b) takes absolute pride in their work. You certainly get both traits with Erick.

Ive heard too many stories about how the elderly is taken advantage of by contractors.     Erick and his team did an excellent job for us by deep cleaning A/C ducts to eliminate bad odor, Cleaning of Dryer Vent. Remove Dryer to access the vent, vacuum all lint behind the dryer and inside the vent that goes all the way to the attic and outside. I do recommend them for all kind of similar work.

    Profesional company that you can trust. We left for work in the morning and by the time we got back from work all had been finished. The air inside the house definitely has a cleaners smell. Also, they noted one one of the ducts needed repair and all of them were not properly seal and they even took the time to get it fixed correctly.

    We used Green Home Solutions of Houston to help get rid of a horrible cigarette smell in our rental house. We were forced to rent unseen and when we showed up to finally see the house the smell of old cigarette smoke took over. We’re a family with a baby and a younger kid so we just knew living with the smell was not an option. I tried lots of “DIY” tricks including scrubbing the wall with ammonia, but could not get rid of the smell. Green Home Solutions was able to get us in within a week of me calling. They showed up, did their work, and by the time we got off work the smell was gone. Such a huge relief to walk in and not be hit in the face with the smell of old cigarette smoke!     Was extremely pleased with Green Home solutions of Houston. Pipes broke during a freeze and I have an autoimmune disease so we wanted the safest natural PREVENTATIVE mold treatment available.
