Good Reliable ServiceGabe was an excellent technician. He was efficient and didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff. He went over the service he performed, updated me on the condition of my unit, and made suggestions of what I can do to prolong the life of my unit. I had my outdoor unit replaced after a thorough explanation as to why, due to government regulations, it was really in my best interest to replace now rather than waiting. I never felt pressured, and in fact called and asked for a supervisor to explain to me as well, which was honored. They arrived on time and replaced the system quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves! On the install check-up they provided after a couple of weeks to make sure everything was running correctly, the supervisor again came on time, worked efficiently and left no mess. But what ultra impressed me was to do that check, the tech had to go in and out of my porch sliding glass door. It’s an older door and sticks and can be a real bear to open. What I found out later in the day when I let my dog out was that the tech had fixed the door! He never said anything, never complained about it, never brought it to my attention-he just fixed it.That, to me, was the height of professionalism and customer service.These folks are on the Good Contractors List-and very much belong there.

Abel from Coomes Air came out to check on my A/C units that didn’t seem to be running quite at optimal. He was prompt, professional and very thorough. He diagnosed some issues with one of the units and made a minor adjustment and got the unit running. He walked me through his process and demonstrated the system readouts and that all parameters were running better than specs.I would highly recommend having Coomes Air inspected your A/C and to get it back up and running.

From beginning to end, I could not have asked for a better experience!I called for an estimate and Jimmy came out the next day and gave me a quote on replacing my parents 40+ year old HVAC system. He took his time collecting all the information he needed to provide an accurate quote. He was professional and honest. He presented me with options and never pressured me.I decided on a package and six days later, the technicians, Jeff and Aziz, showed up and completed the job. The technicians were equally as professional and honest. They were meticulous with the installation and incredibly patient teaching my 86 year old father how to program the thermostat.Coomes wasn’t the cheapest quote I got but their professional standard and commitment to customer service was priceless. I paid exactly what was quoted! There were no hidden fees or up charges!I highly recommend this company!

Our experience with Coomes was stellar from start to finish! I submitted a service request online on Monday evening and received a call back at 730a Tuesday morning to send someone out same day. I spoke to Rachel who was very helpful and friendly. Josh came out to inspect the system and he did an amazing job. The news was bad, but he explained the problem in a very detailed manner and showed me pictures and videos of the multiple issues. He provided several solutions from short term to long term and had someone come out immediately to install a window unit until the system could be repaired. The next day, Esteban and Daniel came out to install the new parts. They were very professional, respectful, and detailed in their work. We highly recommend this locally owned family business!

Brian came out and gave me a quote on replacing our destroyed HVAC system. He took his time collecting all the information he needed to provide an accurate quote. He was professional and honest. He presented me with options and never pressured me.We weighed several scenarios before finally deciding to use Coomes and Im so glad we went with them.The day they showed up Eddie and Esteban greeted me and began explaining what they were going to do, they were extremely professional and very knowledgeable so it really put me at ease with our decision. They began to work and lets just say we did not present them with an easy task. The unit inside has a small area it has to fit into so that was their 1st problem and they had to build a new slab for the outside unit as well. Well, they took on these task like the true champions they are and let me tell you they did an amazing job.The area where the inside unit sits is a small closet in the hall. Well Eddie tried 2 different case fittings and nothing was working, it was still not going to let our door shut, so Brian came and got involved and between the 2 of them they figured out a solution. They all 3 worked on it tirelessly until Brian had to leave then Eddie and Esteban made sure it was completed. They are truly an amazing crew. I would use them 10 times over without a doubt. I would like to mention the crew that cleaned our vents as well. Another great group. If using Coomes you will not be disappointed!!

After a bad experience with another company attempting to repair my HVAC system and then declaring it beyond repair, I called Coomes. Ralph and Scott came out to review my needs. They had my beyond repair system running in a matter of minutes. I was still needing a new system to replace my 26 year old heat pump and they made me such a great offer I could hardly say no.A couple of days later, Jeff and Nick showed up for the install. After a quick tour of the house they went to work. They protected my floors and removed the old system in no time. They made a few improvements to my HVAC closet before installing the new system. The new inside and outside units were working within a few hours and after installing a new thermostat the job was done. They did a great job of cleaning up the mess. To this point I am very happy with my dealings with Coomes Air Conditioning & Heating.

He didn’t mind me hanging out in the area where he was working. He took his time to explain what he was doing when he was troubleshooting the ac. Once he found the problem he gave me some options. Marvin ran through prices for repair. After making the decision to let him fix it he tracked down the parts we needed and got it done.Also he made sure to cover his shoes every time he came into the house to make sure he didn’t bring in any trash or dirt.I would definitely recommend Coomes Air.

Heat pump stopped coming on (it was 17 degrees and Christmas Eve). I called Coomes Air and they sent Gabe out about 8 AM. He quickly determined that the main breaker for the unit was bad. I had already checked it and found it to be in the ON position. It turned out that the breaker itself was bad internally and only appeared to be on. Being a Mechanical Engineer myself (not electrical), I appreciated the steps Gabe went through to determine what the problem was. The temperature inside my home was down to 59° and my wife and I were miserable. Gabe is a credit to Coomes Air...they, and I are lucky to have him. THANKS, Andy Wright

Labor day weekend Sunday, out HVAC stopped working. Called Coomes and within 3 hours had a technician here at the house. We walked over possible problems and Josh was super knowledgable and knew exactly what was going on. He provided a variety of options for repair and information on future needs. I had projected a range of costs I might expect to pay and was surprised that the final costs - including emergency weekend visit - came out to be at the lower end of the scale. Ray arrived on time and dressed professionally. He performed a thorough inspection of our AC and answered all of our questions and believe me we had a lot of them. This AC is pretty old (1983) but has been serviced pretty regular only because we wanted it to last. He performed some pretty technical testing and everything looked good. We asked questions from R22 to what is next, when should we replace it etc. We signed up for a program they have where they do a maintenance twice a yearly to check the entire HVAC (beginning summer and fall.) He explained the the AC that has the heat pump (ours does not). We got Coomes from the Good Contractors list. Coomes is the best!

After calling the company who installed my AC 7 years ago and not getting a response, I called Coomes as a referral from a good friend on Labor Day and received a call back within 15 minutes. Jimmy came out the next day (he wouldve come Labor Day, but I chose to wait, as I was cool, in a friends pool at the time, lol) and had my AC running within 15 minutes.
