My AC decided to stop getting cool Monday night. Tuesday morning I called 6 different companies to try to get something booked. Everyone was booked for 1-2 days or more, understandable given how hot its been. Cold Factor originally told me they couldnt do same day but I booked a next day to get on the schedule. About 1 hr later they called with an opening and could have someone by noon same day. Bobby arrived within the window provided and had my AC up and running within an hour. And when I was emailed a copy of the invoice they included pics of readings. Highly recommend and would use again

So Ill start with the ding for 5 to 4 rating. Quoted service trip charge $159 or 149 and at the end I paid 199. Some will believe, hes upset unhappy because of price. That would be untrue. Weve lived in Texas for 30 plus years. Scales felt imbalanced (time didnt seem commensurate to premium) in my opinion. Now fun part. Arrived early, kept in good contact for appointment, and great explaining the issue (condenser needed cleaning because unit blowing hot air) at hand. I recommend Cold Factor.

Jason was very helpful while we were in a serious bind with our A/C unit going out last weekend. The company responded immediately on a Saturday morning before the Texas heat was at its hottest and installed a battery-like device to ensure our motor starts/runs more efficiently. Jason recommended an Ecobee over our Honeywell thermostat to better monitor our systems efficiency/air quality so I tried to install it the following weekend. He was responsive to my questions and small troubleshooting to ensure we were up and running along with recommendations on how to best configure our setting after installation. Very pleased with Jasons helpful nature and responsiveness especially during these hot Texas summers when every minute counts.

We have used Cold Factor since they replaced both of our original units around 7 years ago. They are super responsive and almost always are able to diagnose and fix our issue the same day. Last week when the high temps were 108+, our downstairs unit stopped working during the evening. We called first thing the next morning and they had a technician at our house before noon that day. The issue was diagnosed and repaired within an hour.

Great customer service! I would highly recommend! We bought 2 new units from Cold Factor. They also did duct work and insulation work for us. We got several quotes, and Cold Factor’s was the best. They were very helpful at explaining all of our options and helping us find the best solution for our house. Cory and his guys were great. They were on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. The install was very smooth and they cleaned up everything very well. Cold Factor provided great customer service. Awesome experience. Called re A/C that stopped blowing cold air on a hot, muggy Sunday morning (7/9), and Jason arrived before noon. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous, and he gave us many helpful tips and suggestions. His techs were very professional and did a great job on the install. Also, when I got bids for replacing two HVAC units, Cory provided the best price. My old HVAC company was ripping me off and wanted twice the price of what I paid with Cold Factor. They send email and text reminders of appointments. You cant go wrong using this company.

Our AC wasnt keeping up with the heat and we had 2 bedrooms that were always warm in the summer and cold in the winter. Cory came out and checked to find our duct work needed some revamping and our unit was too small for our size house. He gave us a quote and by the next week a crew came out and installed a new furnace and air conditioner and changed some of our duct work and now we are cool as cucumbers. Cory and his team did an amazing job with the installation of my new AC system. Im very pleased with the new unit and it has been a little over a month and a half since installed and I can already see the weekly usage being better than my older system while at the same time keeping my house cooler.They also added a return for each bedroom significantly improving the air quality in all our bedrooms. Our whole house now feels even with the temperature readings, gone are the hot spots with the front two bedrooms!Cory, kudos to you and your team for doing what you said you would do and then some :)

I had an amazing experience with Cold Factor from front to back end service. It started with me calling around to get quotes for a service repair that another HVAC company quoted me for an amount that I thought was too high. I initially spoke with Jessica and she went above and beyond to research and give me information to help me determine if I was being given a fair quote. She spent this time without me ever having been a customer and didn’t even pressure me to have them come out. I was so impressed I ended up calling them back to come do a diagnostic evaluation. Bobby was our technician and he was extremely thorough, transparent, and explained things in a way I could understand. He made it a point to make sure I was informed. He left that day telling me I didn’t have replace the part the other company said I needed, saving me $650! I highly recommend Cold Factor for their honesty, fair prices, and compassionate customer care.

Yes, I would recommend Cold Factor Heating and Air very highly. Cory and his crew have been servicing my A/C and Heating units for 3 years and have provided exceptional courtesy and service on every call. They have responded within 1-2 days each time I called and showed up exactly when they said they would. I especially appreciated that they called me on my cell 45 minutes ahead of their arrival time so that I could meet them at the house instead of having to take the whole day off work to wait for them to show.When checking out my unit they were very thorough and often made suggestions on how I could better maintain the unit to improve its efficiency. I was also pleased when Cory pointed out that I had a leaky valve on one of my units and that it was the reason I had been having to replace Freon every spring. He put some thread sealer on the cap and tightened it down a little tighter and as a result, I have had to replace much less freon than I have had to in the past with my previous A/C service provider.I also like that when they show up its all about servicing my existing equipment. I have 2 older units that I know will require replacing sometime in the next couple of years and Cory has several times mentioned that when I am ready to do so, he will sit down with me to go over my options. That is much better than my previous service provider who tried to hard sell me on a new system every time they showed up. It was as if I was having to convince THEM of my reason NOT to upgrade before they would service my old units. It was quite a refreshing change to have Cold Factor service my A/C-Heating units. The respect they have shown me and integrity with which they have worked makes me glad to recommend them to anybody who needs a good service company.Chad C.

We had 2 positive experiences with Cold Factor, one commercial and one residential. They came out to do an inspection and repair for our business and Aaron was prompt, courteous and reasonable. Then a couple of weeks later our air conditioner at home stopped working. and Aaron came out by 9:30 the next morning we were back up and running!!! We all know that in Texas in July this is pretty much unheard of, and again they fixed it for a very reasonable price. Jessica in the office was very easy to schedule appointment with and very easy to talk to.I would recommend Cold Factor, and they will definitely be who I call if we need these services again, and I recommend you give them a call as well!!!

Had another company come out earlier today only to leave 30 minutes later with still no AC!! I called Cold Factor at 5:45pm in a panic, and got Jessica on the phone. She told me to send her my address and before I could, she already called me back to tell me she had someone on the way. Justin was here by 6:30pm, and got straight to business! Within 30 minutes he had our AC back up and running! Both Jessica and Justin were so kind to my cranky, sweaty, sassy self. And on top of everything Jessica called me after to check and to see if we were okay! I cant say enough good things about the costumer service I received. Clearly they are very knowledgable and extremely dedicated to their customers! Its safe to say that I HIGHLY recommend using Cold Factor, go ahead and call them. Better yet- save their number!! But after a few hours on my working on my system they gave up and told me I needed a new unit. My unit was only 3 years old... I called Cold Factor for a “second opinion” and I was blown away by the service. I first spoke to Jessica on the phone and she was incredibly professional, and also helpful. Cory came to my home and wow does he know his stuff. He was able to undo and fix some of the work from the last technician as well as get the unit back up and running.Cold Factor was fast, communicative, helpful, and skilled. We needed an entire new system. They were so quick to come out and give a quote and very friendly and kind about talking with us as we explored many different options. This company has consistently done a great job! On latest visit Bobby answered all my questions and quickly performed various fall maintenance on HVAC system.Bobby, our technician called about 10 minutes before arriving at our house. We appreciated the advance notice so we could put our pets in a different room. Within 10 minutes of arriving Bobby figured out the problem with our AC and fixed it within a half hour. He explained the problem to us and the solution and made sure everything was working before he left. Bobby did a great job.The only thing that could be improved is trying to get in touch with the company for emergency service and responses to requests for service after normal business hours. The website doesnt make it clear what customers are supposed to do when they need emergency service or if the company even offers it.

My AC unit failed in the middle of the summer on a Saturday in August of 2014. Ive known Cory for many years, so I called Cold Factor. They responded immediately. Cory and Carlos arrived the next day (yes, on a Sunday) with a new American Standard 5 ton unit. It was 84 degrees in the house and almost 140 degrees in the attic when they replaced the system. My AC has worked flawlessly ever since. I will always appreciate their responsiveness, reasonable pricing, technical expertise and exceptional customer service.

Our homes AC fan motor went out on us in the middle of June, so immediately we contacted our home warranty company weve been with for 2 years. Unfortunately, that did us no good at all. So today, after getting nothing for 3 1/2 WEEKS from our warranty company except for the run-around and NO air conditioning in our house this whole time (directly in the middle of summer), we canceled our membership with them and called ColdFactor.From the first moment I spoke with Jessica and told her our situation, she was nothing but compassionate, professional and focused on helping us out as soon as possible. Less than an hour later, Justin (our technician) had already arrived, removed the dead fan motor and replaced it with a brand new one and was finishing up tightening the screws around the top edge of the AC unit. He explained the old unit had a known malfunction and quickly installed the new and had the unit working quickly. He went on to explain the business and provided further details about my two units. Needless to say, I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. It was a no-brainer to sign up for a maintenance package after his performance. Today Bobby returned for maintenance and did another outstanding job and answered all my questions. I will gladly recommend Cold Factor for all your HVAC needs.
