I had the best experience when Steve came out to check my heating system. I happen to have a furr down A/C / heating unit in my condo and not many technicians are familiar with them. He knew just what to do and also gave me some great tips on my A/C returns and how to keep them up. He was on time, thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and worked in a timely fashion. I will definitely recommend using Aire Serve again.

Tamara has such great customer service, very accommodating, responsive and does follow ups on my appointments.I am also very impressed by the level of service I received from the technician Giovanni. Because of his engineering background, he managed to explain everything in a technical way that was very understandable to me.Giovanni is a prime example of what this industry needs when sending out someone to service customer equipment. Update (2/1/2025): As usual, its taken me a minute to get around to writing a review, this one being of Aire Serv of Houston Northwest for services they provided on 11/14/2024. As always they did good work, and they did it efficiently. I really liked the technician, and chatted with him at length, but I wont name him because I dont want the following constructive feedback to be held against him by his future customers. Like most reasonable people, I DESPISE BEING UPSOLD ON THINGS THAT I DONT NEED. I absolutely hate it. This fellow, who was not my main man Roy, tried to upsell me on everything but my kitchen sink. He went on for a literal 5-minutes trying to sell me things that I knew I didnt need. Because he was such a nice and friendly fellow I didnt chew him out, I just sat in my office chair and smiled. My personal favorite of the upsell offers was cleaning out my ducts for $5,500 because they could be contributing to mold and dust in my house and causing breathing issues. Check out my pics and their captions - our houses indoor air quality is outstanding and Mirv 11 filters are totally worth their expense because theyre incredibly effective. Aire Servs tech offered me roughly $10,000 of upsells, none of which I needed. Again, I HATE THAT. Ill continue to do business with Aire Serv because they do the necessary work well, but I NOW FEEL MORALLY OBLIGATED TO LOWER MY RATING TO 4-STARS. GRR!!P.S. Aire Serv will probably also offer you an upsell to install a moisture monitor to your drip pan just in case something starts leaking. That upsell isnt as egregious as most of their other ones, but heres a tip for those of you who arent lazy: your drip pans all have overflows outside of your house. If you set a weekly reminder on your phone and/or Outlook, you can do as I do, and just look for drips for free. If you see a drip, you have a problem that you should address IMMEDIATELY (which I successfully did back in December 2023 without the expensive moisture monitor upsell), if you dont see a drip, youre fine.Update (12/11/2023): My main-man Roy serviced our heaters on 12/1/2023 (sorry its taken me a minute to write this update, but Ive been crazy busy) and he did a great job, as always. Being a Doctor of Chemical Engineering as I am, I truly appreciate the detailed write-up of what he found and what he did in his report. I also love the fact that he doesnt try to upsell me on thousands of dollars of stuff that I neither need, not want - I truly hate that. Finally, Roy is, quite simply, a righteous dude, kinda like Ferris Bueller.Im 110% satisfied with Aire Serv of Houston Northwest. They were easy to schedule an appointment with, they called me about 1/2 hour before they arrived and, sure enough, the technician arrived on time and started and finished well-within the promised window. Our technician was Roy, and he simply could not have been better. He performed a thorough annual checkup/tuneup of our AC units and - this is hugely important to me - he didnt try to upsell me a bunch of stuff which we dont need. In addition to doing great work, Roy was friendly, briefly chatting with me about billiards, baseball, and mowing his lawn this afternoon to placate his wife (and having mown lawns on riders most of my life as well, he can tell Mrs. Roy that I totally agree with him in that he needed to wait for the soil to dry out a bit before using a rider mower. Youre welcome for the support, Roy :-). My goodness, I wish we had switched to Aire Serv of Houston Northwest ages ago, and I really hope Roy can be our tech this fall for our heater tuneup. Bottom line - YOU SHOULD CALL AIRE SERV OF HOUSTON NORTHWEST FOR YOUR HVAC NEEDS!

Kristin Severson from Aire Serv North Wedt came out to our house after our inquiry for a new Air Handler and Furnace. After inspection we sat down and she discussed the scope of work with us very clearly and gave us an estimate before she left but requested that she needed to check something out at the office before confirmation. She sent us a written estimate within the hour (with no change to her verbal one) which we accepted because it was very favorable. Their installers came three days later and removed the old unit in very little time and had the new one installed and tested within two and a half hours. The installers were very clean and everything was left in a ship-shape condition.I would recommend them to everyone.

UPDATE: After the first appointment, we still had water coming in the secondary drain, so I called and asked if Aire Serv could come by to complete the repair since that was the purpose of the first visit. Within 5 minutes, they had us on the work-in schedule and another technician completed the repair same day. NO EXTRA CHARGE. I asked but honestly didn’t think they would provide that service and thought I’d have to fix it myself. I am so deeply impressed with this business. I WISH I COULD GIVE HIGHER THAN FIVE STARS. Cannot recommend enough. Both technicians were anmazing and I loved all my interactions with office staff. THANK YOU!Original review: Our technician (Kory I believe) was just incredible. Very kind, helpful and went the extra mile to help us with a clogged drain line. Our secondary drain pan was full and corroded and he took care of that and repaired some insulation that was coming apart. These folks waive the call out fee if they perform service, and they were incredibly kind and helpful and receptive every time we spoke on the phone or in person. Good price for the service and I highly recommend to anyone looking for good, honest working folk for A/C help.

Weve been with Aire Serv from the beginning. Before it was Aire Serv, this local Houston branch was a startup named Cool Hands. Joe (the owner) installed a new system for us back in 2008 or 2009 and did an incredible job that has lasted to this day (2024). I highly recommend the annual maintenance from Aire Serv. I cant believe our AC is still going, but it is thanks to the original quality installation and the yearly maintenance. Everyone at Aire Serv ALWAYS does a great job, is honest, is always polite and professional, and communicates very well about everything. Andre came out today and helped us figure out what we need to do to get the AC working on our generator. Again, I was impressed with Joes team. The Technician from Aire Serv was very professional. Jose did an excellent job this Fall 2024 with preventative heating maintenance. Jose noticed my severe asthma was uncontrolled and went above and beyond in his ethical excellence in customer service. Jose inspected the Reme Blue light on the ac unit that provides continuous additional air filtration. The blue light had gone out after 5 years. Jose immediately brought this to my attention and ordered the part. Jose finished the preventative heating maintenance job on time. Within less than 24 hours the Reme blue light replacement part came into the warehouse. Installation was originally scheduled for Monday 10/7/24. When Jose found out the part had come in early he finished a prior job he was on and made a special trip without additional charges to pickup the replacement part. He installed the blue light on 10/3/24 @ 5:45pm. Wow’ what exceptional customer service. Before he left and within 30 minutes later my asthma became controlled again and the air quality inside the house returned to 100 percent efficiency. Clean breathable air quality. Aire Serv NW are much better than any factory-branded techs Ive found in my 14 years of Texas home ownership. I have 3 heat pumps (a single stage, a 2 stage and a variable speed), and they have the expertise to repair and keep them all operating properly. I have remorse for recently replacing one of the heat pumps and not using Aire Serve as the installer. The replacement kept all 3 HPs the same brand (rhymes with Crane), but the other installer provided a cheaper air handler, hooked up the two stage HP incorrectly and immediately ghosted me following install. Wish I woulda installed the system offered by Aire Serv NW, who was there to pick up the pieces...

We had a string of bad luck days before we were set to close on our home (as the sellers) when both of our old HVAC units finally died. Our usual go-to AC company was booked all weekend, but we found Aire Serv during a quick Google search. The answering service was super responsive and had technicians out to diagnose the problems (Robert and Giovanni on separate days). Kristin was the Home Comfort Designer and she was amazing. Kristin communicated with me thoroughly and knew that we would soon be selling our home. She tried her hardest (and succeeded) to get the work done quickly and affordably. She answered calls and texts into the night, and we had two new units installed (thanks to Hector and his crews) before closing. Kristin and Joe stopped by the morning of closing to make sure all units were running properly. Kristin truly made one of the most stressful situations better for me and my husband. The work ethic displayed by the entire team ensured that our closing proceeded as planned and our buyers had two great new units to greet them during their final walkthrough. She was so great to work with, touched base with me every few hours, kept communication open, coordinated her crew within hours to get the jobs done. Aire Serv went above and beyond for us. I have been a member of the AireServ Maintenance Plan since it started! Twice a year I get a call from their friendly representatives to schedule my checkup. Last month, I had the heating system checked. All was good, but if it wasn’t, I would know and be able to prevent high repair bills! I highly recommend this service to ALL homeowners. We have our teeth checked twice a year, right? Why? To prevent much higher repair bills, right? Why not do the same for your comfort systems? Lose your teeth, it’s hard to eat. Lose your Air conditioning in Texas, it’s hard to survive.

If you need HVAC in the Cypress/Northwest Houston Area, look no further. We had (what we now know was) a capacitor go out at the house during the night, and needed someone to come take a look ASAP. I was recommended Aire Serv by a friend and gave them a call. I called around 11am and was given a 3pm-6pm window of someone coming out. Joe came out right before 3pm. Amazing response time. Joe was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took a look at our attic, bracing the 130+ F heat up there, and then took a look at our 17 year old ancient unit outside. He treated it with care and found the issue within minutes. Capacitor replaced and she booted right back up. Joe absolutely saved us. What I most appreciated was that even though our unit is so old and definitely on its last legs, he still treated it with care and professionalism. Any other HVAC company could have taken one look at the unit and told us it needed to be fully replaced and there is nothing they could have done. I told her my address and that this was a mobile home. She checked and said yes we service your area and she gave me the price. So i set up an appointment. They came and asked if I wanted maintenance or a checkup, I asked what is the difference because I thought it was the same thing, but he said it wasnt and explained the difference. So after the check up and he pointed out some issues and worked on my thermostat, I asked about the maintenance. He stated that they might not be coming back because my address was out of their service area. Im thinking to myself why offer the maintenance, which is 2 visits, if you already think you arent coming back? Other companies were straightforward on if my place wasnt in their service area or they dont do mobile homes.So, again, it was good service, BUT make sure they service your area(double check)and be specific on if its a checkup or maintenance.

Our 16 year old 5 ton AC unit had died last friday with a bad compressor requiring a installation of a new AC unit. In less than 12 hours later after the report that the old unit was dead, they arrived and installed a new quality brand AC unit and had us chilling by lunchtime the day after. I can’t recommend airserv enough. We had our AC break about 2 years ago and they replaced the entire unit and did a great job. The whole experience was wonderful even though it was 85 inside the house. They even brought over a window unit for the night and day we were getting the new unit installed. However in this heat again, our capacitor went out. They immediately came over the next morning which was great bc every other AC company was saying Friday to Saturday at the earliest. They were so understanding of the predicament we were in. When Giovanni got here, from the start the communication was wonderful and he got right on the job. Immediately he found the issue and fixed in about 10-15 min. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and let us know what was going on and what the issue was and how he fixed it. 5/5 stars for Giovanni alone bc bless his soul for getting our house to be less than 85 degrees in this weather. Incredibly kind and thoughtful all around human being and an even better technician. Even my dog, Mango, loved having him here. The AC thankfully is up and running within the hour and doing great. Honestly if you’re looking into any AC company, which can be difficult to tell which companies are worth the money, I couldn’t recommend airserv and their technicians enough. Any time we have maintenance done as well, they’re always super helpful and overall nice human beings.

Update 12/14/2023 - Miguel Jiminez did a great job servicing my HVAC system. He was on time, very knowledgable and professional.Ive been using these guys ever since I bought my house 5 years ago. They are always professional, on time and honest about what needs to be done. They recently installed a new HVAC system for the upstairs of my house and were much cheaper than the other companies I got quotes from. Installation process went very smooth, and they were able to fit me in their schedule immediately. I will definitely be using them again in the future for any A/C and heating issues I might have.

When we moved into our new home Air Serv recommend we install a HALO unit into our builder provided HVAC system to clean the air and help reduce dust particles in the home. We have used Aire Serv of Houston NW for several years. They are friendly, honest, professional and really knowledgeable. They come out and check our system every spring and fall to make sure everything is in proper working order. In our previous house, a power surge killed a circuit board in our heater during a real cold snap in the middle of winter and they came out on a weekend during off hours to help us out. The parts warehouse was closed until Monday but they offered to let us borrow small space heaters until they could get the part from the warehouse. Joe was at the warehouse when it opened Monday morning and was knocking on our door bright and early so he could get us up and running as quickly as possible and we were thankful for that. Several years later we moved to another house and decided to replace both (upstairs and downstairs) old and worn out systems so we called Aire Serv once again. As always they were very professional and did a fantastic job. Just this week we had them install extra return ducts upstairs and in typical fashion they did outstanding professional work. Joe and the team at Aire Serv are the ONLY ones I trust to do our HVAC work.

This is the third year that Aire Serv has maintained my AC. Agustin came by on time. The first thing I noticed and appreciate is the covers on his shoes. We take off our shoes at my house, so seeing those covers pleasantly surprised me. He described the good and bad of my system and recommended a few fixes that would make my AC last longer. Agustin was polite and professional and I look forward to his work in the fall. Besides Agustin, I thought the price was reasonable.
