Sunday September 22, our A/C unit stopped working I started my search and started making phone calls looked for some one close to the Mansfield area and I had one gentleman that responded quickly and with out hesitation was at my address providing me a quote and a diagnosis of what was wrong 😑 his find was the compressor unit went out and needed replacement….. my unit is only 5 years old and parts are still under warranty I continued my calls but no dice , and the temperature in my house continued getting hotter. Monday rolls in and I go back to google and come across Air Techs and as I read the reviews and read over and over the word honesty, I call and speak to the gentleman on the phone and explain my situation and in a quick and respectful manner the gentleman asked my details of my air unit , his response was quick and firm.He quoted me a fair price and I wasn’t hesitant to say yes , but he quickly replied back by text and said;The only way you may get it for less is by contacting the company who install it sir . Normally it’s a year warranty on labor for themLet me know how you want to handle this project sir. We can install today if you’d like.That alone spoke to me honesty , I did follow his advice and yes I reached out to the original contractor/installer and to my surprise contract came out and received the A/C unit and found that the voltage in the unit was 120 vAC not the 240 it’s supposed to operate normally plus the capacitor was also fried. Unit is up and running.Yes your wondering did Air Techs get your business, the answer is no unfortunately not but definitely got my respect and yes hands down my recommendation for going the extra mile to answer my questions and providing me a quote in a quick manner. Jose and his team did an excellent job installing a new a/c unit for my mother. The main unit in her home has failed every summer for the past five years... several repairs and $$$ later we decided to replace it. I really appreciated that he was able to come the same day and provide his service immediately. He talked to me about different options, repairs, maintenance etc., and we decided to put a new unit in and are very happy with the end result. Jose is efficient, very courteous, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He was experienced, on time and even provided much needed maintenance of the secondary unit he did not install so we would not have any issues moving forward. I would highly recommend Jose and air techs heating and cooling.

Hands down, great experience! We had our furnace moved to the attic and could not have asked for a better team. The estimate process and advice provided by Jose was on point and he took his time throughout. The repairs were smooth and the team worked hard all day and the next to get the job accomplished. Jose the owner of Air Techs Heating and Cooling was honest, friendly, and very professional. His attitude was extremely positive and he was willing to help immediately!! He diagnosed our problem immediately and fixed it quickly. He came on a holiday and was here within 30 minutes!! He gave us tips on how to maintain and prevent future break downs. Jose and Sergio came out to give us an estimate on a complete new AC unit and duct work. They were prompt and responded quickly via text messages. We opted to use Air Techs to replace our unit after receiving a few quotes.While waiting for our appt date, our AC stopped cooling, and Jose came out to fill up the unit with coolant free of charge until our scheduled date for the new unit. We are very pleased with the service and will continue to use them for yearly maintenance on the unit.

I called Jose to get a bid for a whole new AC system and furnace, and he came the next day when he said he would. He was on time, reviewed my current system with me and gave me options. He was not pushy at all and didn’t try to push for a sale, he just gave me the info I asked for and answered all of my questions.After several bids and pushy salesmen, I chose to move forward with Jose. I was told by other companies that there weren’t any systems available and no one had any inventory, or I would have to commit immediately to get a lesser system than I wanted because it was all that was available, but Jose assured me he would have a system that I wanted ready for me the next week. After I chose to move forward with Jose, he came the next week and installed a whole new Lennox system for me. He showed up when he said he would with the system we agreed on and installed it in one day. He hauled off the old system and cleaned up once the job was done, I couldn’t tell he had been here at all.I would highly recommend Jose and his team and will use them going forward for any maintenance or repairs I may need. He was prompt, had great communication, and very knowledgeable, making sure any and all questions I had were answered

Jose and his team did an extraordinary work on our A/C . We had multiple issues with the outside and inside AC unit . He educated us ( we are first time homeowners) unfortunately the previous owners never maintenance the AC . The outside unit was not turning off at all , even though the AC was off inside. The inside unit was leaking water which cause the wooden platform that holds the unit to Deteriorate to the point of almost falling. We hired his team to fix our AC issues . They were puntual, clean and went above and beyond to cleaning the mold that was inside the AC . It’s been a month after Jose and his team fixing our AC and our electricity bill went down by $100! We are so happy we hired him . Thank you !!

Called them at 2:30pm -3:00pm for a service call. My unit was not cooling and my one year old Granddaughter lives with us and the inside temperature was 79 degrees / outside temperature was 98 degrees and had to have cool air flowing very fast! Received a call with the hour and was told he would be at my home with an hour. When Jose Garcia arrived at our house he was courteous, professional and realized that our coils needed to be cleaned and was restricting airflow. I found Jose and the company to be very knowledgeable and very very affordable. I’ve found the best Heat & Air service company in the DFW Metroplex! During an unprecedented snow storm wed lost power for 2 days. When the power came back on and the temperature was 9 degrees, we still had no heat! None of the repair companies I called would answer. I had Air Techs come through after a different company used blury photos to show me cracks, shut off my systems completely (vandallized my property...actually used a sharpie to write condemned ON my furnaces) and other fear based tactics to try to pressure me into new 2 completley new systems. Jose inspected they were not cracked. Jose and the team are knowledgeable, trust worthy, and honest. I went ahead and had them move my units so I can build into empty attic space as well as replace units (one was ancient). He earned my business! They are my HVAC company forevermore! This week the heat went out, he gave an honeat eval of what was needed and got it working durring this cold snap to keep my kid warm at a very reasonable pricev , theres more work needed on the 25+ year system and he offered to source parts, were deciding now what to do, and Air Techs will be doing the job in the coming weeks. I can’t believe I waited so long to call! I was told by another company that my problem of a hot upstairs wasn’t solvable but I wanted to give it one more try. After going to a “popular/big brand” type of AC company for service, not only was the other company’s prices ridiculously high for the services I asked for, but they tried to tell me I needed another several thousand dollars worth of repairs that frankly, I didn’t think I needed, nor did I ask for. Enter the power of word of mouth advertising: I was referred to Mr. Garcia and his team at Air Techs by a coworker, and I couldn’t be more happy. He listened to what I wanted, walked the house, and gave me his own quote — almost 25% less than the big AC company (I didn’t tell him what it was beforehand). AND he didn’t have a team of ex used car salesmen / auto repairmen giving me a quote. Upon scheduling the repair, Mr Garcia and his team showed up on time, did their job, made a few adjustments on the fly, and still held to their quoted price. Then they cleaned up and left. Awesome. I am a customer for life, and I’ll refer them to whomever will listen.

Air Techs were very responsive, and beat their arrival time.Their technician was thorough in his diagnosis as to the cause of the failure, instead of just replacing parts.He even used a flexible camera probe to check to see if the coils needed cleaning before spending the time and money to disassemble the top of the heating and air indoor unit. I appreciated him being sensitive to our budget and time.Once our problem was diagnosed, he went to get original, exact replacement parts from Trane. One of the s from a previous repair was not a Trane specified part, so I asked him to replace that part with an original, as it could be involved in the failure.With the new parts in place, the furnace lit and stayed lit, just as a severe winter storm is moving in.Our bill was fair, a bit below average for furnace repair, which definitely helps if you are on a budget.I would highly recommend Air Techs for promptness, knowledge, and efficiency, as well as on value.
