Our A/C went down the day before we were heading to the hospital to have our first child. Our home warranty was absolutely useless when it came to any sort of help. A friend of ours recommended these guys, so we called and they had someone here within a couple of hours. They were able to find the issue quickly but I was then told that the part was going to be 3 weeks out from the manufacturer. The next morning I got a call from their owner Henry, telling me that by hell or high water he was going to have my a/c up and running before we returned from the hospital. By him making some real miracles happen and his awesome techs we were able to bring our son home to a cool and comfortable home. In a world where companies only care about their profit, Texas Air Repair proved to me that there are still people out there that genuinely care about their customers. For any of your heating and cooling needs please don’t call anyone else, call Texas Air Repair and have it done the right way the first time. I recently had a situation with a blocked air duct and they made return trips and worked diligently until they found the blockage and immediately fixed it. Texas Air Repair is Responsive and Honest. Texas Air Repair came late on a Friday night to come take a look at our AC Unit that was no longer providing cool air . You never know what to expect when dealing with contractors . All I can say is that this man did not have to come out late on a Friday night to help our family out . He couldve came the next day to provide service . That alone speaks great character . We were nervous about having to spend a lot of money to get this unit fixed but god sent out the right person and company for the job .Being in plumbing sales myself I know how hard it is to find good reliable , honest and trustworthy people in the trades , let alone a business owner . Texas air was able to fix our AC in no time with honest evaluations. We will continue to use Texas Air Repair for all our future HVAC issues . I have been a satisfied and loyal customer of Texas Air Repair for many years. Recently, I had another issue with the unit cooling downstairs. I spoke with Trinity in the early evening and Texas Air Repair sent a technician out the next day. Trinity is always very helpful, knowledgeable and customer focused. We had a different technician coming out than usual and I was hopeful the service would as good as always. Jacob (Jake) was extremely good. He thoroughly explained the issue and repaired it quickly. He also completed the AC Check Up on both units. They have always been very customer focused and competitive. Highly recommend!

My A/C went out on Monday afternoon 4 pm I called the company that installed it 8 years ago. The soonest they could come would be Tuesday late afternoon. Got on Yelp and found Texas Air Repair. Call them and was told they could get out between 5&9 pm. Christian arrived around 8 pm. He identified the problem was with the inside blower was not coming on. He bypassed the control board with one of his tools and got us up and running for the night. Her returned on the next day with the replacement control board and got the system back working properly. The didnt over charge for the late night service call. Will use them again for my preventative services. Thank you

Our unit started experiencing issues on a Monday afternoon. By Monday night (around 10 PM), the problem was assessed and the crew determined that the blower had gone out. Keep in mind, I had called around and no other company could have someone there that same day. The only reason it was not repaired evening was because of a part they did not have immediately with them, which is understandable. The next day, once the part was in hand, Christian (the HVAC technician) came and resolved the issue with the blower. Christian was respectful and professional and was very helpful in his explanations on preventative care for the unit. I was very pleased with the overall interaction with Texas Air Repair and highly recommend them.

I woke up with my A/C not working and started calling different companies that may be able to come out and take a look. Immediately Texas Air Repair answered their phone and were able to get someone out to me the same day. Henry and his son Bentley were able to come out just a couple hours after scheduling an appointment. Henry is the owner of the company and was very friendly from the moment they showed up. With his knowledge and expertise of A/C systems he was able to get mine back up and running in no time at all! Henry was helpful and honest about my A/C situation, and I will definitely be giving Texas Air Repair a call any time I need something done.Good work is not always hard to find!

My house has a single HVAC unit and we were unable to effectively cool both bottom and top parts of the home this summer and had certain hot zones. I spoke with three different companies and decided to go with Henry and Texas Air Repair. The first two companies stated I needed a complete new install (which was probably reasonable), but werent great with follow up or explaining the issues or potential options. Henry gave me multiple options after a thorough look at the unit and setup, explaining in depth what he thought could be improved and how to execute the plan.We decided on rerouting our current system based on his recommendations and we have had great results. On top of his knowledge, he was really diligent and patient with working on our needs and goals. I spent about 3-4 weeks researching all different options/companies and staying in touch. Overall, great experience and I highly recommend his team for any job you may have, big or small. Once we decided on proceeding, things moved quick. His crew was also very professional and polite. Cleaned up after they were done (vacuumed etc). He also checked up on us frequently after to make sure things continued to go as planned.Great, great experience from beginning to end! Will recommend him to family and friends in the area.

My AC compressor blew a coil on 6/16 and I needed it fixed quick. I spent that entire evening and the next day just trying to find people who had availability. I only managed to find 3 companies who could get me quotes for next day work, and I’m glad one of them was from Henry and his team. Their price was the lowest of anybody I spoke with, but the big difference up front was their will to help me and my family. These guys came out in the middle of the night on 6/17, just hours after I spoke with Henry, to install a new compressor unit. For the high quality Bosch unit I got, same day installation, and all the follow-up, their price was excellent.Henry, the owner, came back to my house three separate times after that day to make sure my system was working properly. He followed up with me every day. I always got a call when he was on his way. There were some minor adjustments to make and he got it all done for me, without charging me, or pushing me to buy something I didn’t need.In home services, especially HVAC, it’s very difficult to find people you can trust-whether it’s the price, the quality of work, or the customer service/follow-up. This company has earned my trust and I will be a returning customer. Henry is an honest family man. He cares about his customers. Give him a call if you need anything HVAC related done in your home.

Compressor outside was not working and in the middle of July it was getting rather toasty inside. A service call was schedule same day. Christian was able to locate the problem and had it resolved in minimal time. He was also very friendly and showed me a picture of the bad capacitor prior to replacing it. I had an older AC unit that went out and by sheer coincidence I called Texas Air Repair at 5 pm on a Thursday. The receptionist was great and got all the answers to all of my questions. She had Albert out later that night, he was very professional and had exceptional customer service. He showed me exactly what was wrong with my AC and thoroughly explained all of my options. Once I decided I wanted a new unit he offered to have it replaced that night! The next morning Carlos, Bobby, and Robert came to install my new AC unit and they were equally as professional, friendly and also provided excellent customer service. AC trouble is always a stressful time but Texas Air Repair truly made it as stress free as possible.

Best ac repair company I have ever encountered. I guess I should said best ac repair person I have ever encountered. I have been using Texas Air Repair for about three years. I had a horrible experience with the company that installed the ac, only two years prior. Texas Air Repair sent out Marcus. That was truly my lucky day. He assessed the problem, which was very minor. The other company said my coils needed cleaning. Marcus took a photo, to show me the coils were very clean. He saved me $500-$600. He is very thorough with his work. The company is very lucky to have such a honest employee. The other techs they have might be almost as good as Marcus, but Ill never know. I make it a point to say, I only want Marcus. Thanks to the owner for hiring the best.

I cant say enough good things about my experience with Texas Air Repair. My A/C Froze up on a Friday night. I was searching for assistance at 10:30 p.m. I was contacted back within 10 minutes and was able to get someone lined up for 8 a.m. the next day. Preston came out and checked everything out and sure enough my coil was toast. Since the coil was frozen, he couldnt do a thorough check of the whole system. Unfortunately, all of the install crews were booked for the day, so Preston and Henry (The owner) were going to come by that afternoon and replace the coil themselves. Preston arrived ahead of Henry and went ahead and started to do a full check on the system and sure enough my compressor was shot. Preston lined up everything for the next day (Sunday) to replace my unit and coil. Henry shows up in the morning with the install crew not far behind and they got everything replaced in just a few hours. The crew was very polite and efficient. Henry came back a few hours and checked the pressure levels himself, made sure he had the correct serial numbers for registration, and made sure I was satisfied with everything. My house is now cool and everything is working great. I even got a call from Preston the day after the install to make sure everything went well. This is the absolute best experience Ive ever had with an A/C company. They have gained a lifetime customer.

I called Texas Air Repair based solely on their Yelp and Google reviews. I asked if they could do an inspection the next day without my even being there. Albert came out to do a buyers inspection of the A/C and found that the unit was in bad shape and needed replacing. I was able to make a deal with the seller to pay for that. Thank you, Albert for your careful look at the A/C, your honesty and great customer service.Robert and Carlos came out after close of escrow to replace the unit, inside and out. They are nice guys and good workers. It took a while, but when they were done I had a well-installed, up to date A/C that blows good cold air. And a cool new digital thermostat!I recommend Texas Air Repair without hesitation

They worked very hard in these hot temperatures to get our new system up and running. Very polite and professional team, they walked us thru all the steps during the install. Texas Air Repair for the Win!! Friends, my a/c went out in the middle of July, and I tried going through my Home Warranty. The company they sent out, EMS was DOA. They didnt repair the issue, and never set any expectations as to when my a/c would be repaired. After the better part of a week, I found Texas Air Repair , called at 6:00 am spoke with Trinity, who set up an appointment for me the same day! Stephen from Texas Air repair showed up at 3:30 pm , quickly assessed what the problem was, explained in clear terms what the issue was and what my options were, and after discussing with my wife we felt confident on the next course of action. Cut to 8:15 pm, the same day(!!) , Carlos, Bob, and a third gentleman arrived and installed a new A/C unit upstairs. They worked for 3 hours straight, tirelessly, and they were very polite. Once they were done, the A/C kicked on and I was sooo Happy! I really cant believe they fixed my a/c in under 24 hours, without hassle, being honest, and friendly! I cant recommend these folks enough!

Texas Air Repair did a great job replacing two HVAC units at my home. Searching reviews online for AC contractors is scary. Most AC repair reviews are at best average across the board, including the large companies. Texas Air Repair had very good reviews across the board on Google and Yelp and they were well deserved! Their employees were all very helpful and professional and were genuinely concerned about the quality of their work. I felt very comfortable with them throughout the entire process. Whatever small hiccups there were they were promptly addressed. They assisted with filing warranty paper work and did as much as they could to help with filing CPS energy rebate. Albert helped make the deal and organized delivery of the units and Carlos and Robert installed. Great crew!

DIDNT Charge extra for coming out to my business on a Saturday...YES YOU READ RIGHT! Fixed my AC promptly and at a great price. He was honest, helpful, friendly and didnt try to convince me to buy a new unit or spend a ton of money on stuff I didnt need. He just fixed what needed to be fixed and gave me some good tips on preventative maintenance. I have used Texas Air Repair at both my home and business and each and every time they have been awesome! Our technician Albert gave us a lot of good information about replacing our A/C unit. Of the 3 vendors we spoke with Texas Air offered us the best deal. It was installed one week later by Carlos and his co-worker who worked very hard to get the work done. They were very professional and we were very happy with the results. Albert came out to check things over and they arranged to have the city inspect it too. Albert also told us about the CPS rebate. I highly recommend Albert, Carlos and Texas Air.

A/C froze up today! Called a couple of people said they could get to us later in the week. I called TEXAS AIR REPAIR dispatch was very nice and took my info, then gave me a 30 minute window as to when the repair guy would be shouwing up.Jr showed up 15 minutes later, did a full inspection of inside unit, outside unit and ducts in attic. Very impressed on his completeness of the inspection. Was at our home working 4 hours to give us what we needed. Gave us 4 options with the issues we have. We decided to replace the entire system. He broke it down for us and 8000.00 later... they (team) of guys will be here at 9 a.m. -10 a.m. to get started.Very impressed.J. R. IS GREAT! He treated us like family, explained everything very well. Great with dogs!

Update: After having a bad experience with a tech from Texas air repair telling me to let my ac fan motor die then deal with it my ac went out. I was told the compressor could have died. I was very angry thinking I had to replace my system now. But the owner called me and apologized and promised to send another tech out and the owner promised to take care of me. The tech Mark came out and checked the system and said the compressor was still good and replaced my fan motor and capacitor. Mark was extremely nice, intelligent and knowledgeable. Texas air repair fixed my ac at no cost to me. I will absolutely recommend them to friends and family and I will definitely call them when I have problems or when I need a new system. THANK YOU MARK AND TEXAS AIR REPAIR. Dont waste your time or money going anywhere else this company is the best out there!

First and foremost I want to thanks the exceptional technicians that diagnosed our initial problems and installed our new home HVAC system. Steven was great on the initial visit, and Robert, Bobby, TJ, and Carlos were incredibly professional throughout the installation that happened the following weekend.Our AC unit was having problems and while it still was somewhat functioning, we were tired of the hotspots in the house, the leaks, and the lack of features our old system had. Regrettably, Texas Air Repair was NOT the first company we called. After receiving an absurd quote from this unnamed company, I called Texas Air Repair. They had Steven come out the same day. Without telling him the other companys quote from earlier that day, he quoted me a (5 ton, 20 SEER, Variable) system that was a fraction of the cost of the other companys ambiguous quote. He had their installers here within two days and the installation went fantastic. They were all incredibly professional and I cant recommend this company enough.

Just had these guys out for an after hour service. It ended up being something really simple, but alias the A/C worked again! My wife spoke with Henry (owner) when we were having issues with another company honoring our warranty or even coming out for repair. He was super helpful and sent a technician out.Albert came out for repair and he was awesome. He diagnosed the problem quickly and went through several other checks to be sure that that was our only issue. He not only fixed the problem but explained what the issue was if it was to ever occur again.Price was very fare for after hours. If you are in a bind, call these guys.

2023 Update (y’all still rock)! Came out quickly and your team is just so helpful. Thank you!The owner (Henry if I recall) came out totally fixed a butcher job that Aramendia did. Aramendia said whole unit in and out needed replacing. We then had another family friend AC tech come look and said you need reverse valve replaced. Henry comes out and in like 5 min finds the drain port is clogged and Aramendia on their insistence of the issue being our nest thermostat, setup a new thermostat and it was installed and setup wrong. Henry had us up and running in like 15 min back to cool air. I wish I would have called Texas Air sooner! We will be bringing more business your way!

I am conflicted on leaving a 3 or 4 star review. If i could give 3.5, I would. I settled on 4 stars, heres why:PROs: Courteous, prompt, same-day service.They answered their phone this morning. They were the first company I called that committed to same day service. They were here within the second hour of a five hour window they gave me. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable.CONs: Price As with most service companies you are already have $$ committed to get them out to your house, theirs is $75. I had already done some diagnostics for him and was able to lead him to the problem are quickly(I suspected capacitor/compressor issue). Within 5 min, he was knocking on my door showing me a bad capacitor. I was quoted $250 originally then $220 after a discount. Dilemma, do I pay the man $75 and go search the part around town myself or pay the replacement? I begrudgingly pay the money. How much does a replacement cost online? ~$32I understand Texas Air Repair has overhead. I get it cost money for employees, insurance, and equipment on the truck. But us customers are in a vulnerable state during times like these and I would like to see pricing that doesnt take advantage of us so much.But, in the end of the day, I have my A/C fixed within 24 hours of it going out.

Very professional and took the time to explain and go over every aspect of the outside unit and attic. 75 for a service call and 275 for a high quality capacitor. Would highly recommend their business to anyone.

Have used this company several times for maintenance and also have called them out when unit had a leak. On the issue with the leak, I got several quotes and theirs seemed the most fair in price for the repair and they also seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. I have used them ever since. Most recently we had our bi-yearly maintenance and they discovered a possible leak. They did additional testing and didnt charge us extra even though they were here for 2 and a half hours. Awesome service.

Last Friday at 7:30pm I noticed my air conditioner was not blowing cold air. I called Texas Air Repair around 8pm and spoke to a friendly dispatcher who gave me a 9pm -12pm service window. I got a call around 8:45 that a tech was on the way. Shortly after 9pm Steven G arrived. Steven traced the issue back to my Honeywell wifi thermostat within 15 minutes. Steven replaced the Honeywell with a Sensi WiFi thermostat and helped me set it up. My air conditioner was blowing cold again and my family was able to sleep comfortably. Steven was friendly and explained everything well. Texas Air Repair is now my go to for AC issues.Thanks Steven!

Texas air repair reached out to me with great customer service to try to come to a resolution regarding my recent bad experience. for me, any company that takes this time and effort is worth giving another chance, since they genuinely care about customer satisfaction, retaining business, and maintaining quality and professionalism. they kindly offered a full system re-check. they broke down the costs and explained why a part that doesnt cost much itself might end up costing close to $300 to replace due to internal costs, labor time, advertising, etc. although this in particular still seemed expensive, it wasnt my main concern. my main issue was that they gave me the impression that the new capacitor would solve my AC problem so i paid for it, but it didnt actually fix my problem. a much larger problem was missed initially, and the capacitor wasnt the main culprit that needed to be addressed at the time. this ended up costing me time i didnt have and by the end of their visit, a resolution wasnt readily available. henry from texas air repair expressed to me how much he values honesty and said that if there was anything wrong with their companys diagnosis, they would cover the costs i paid out to the second company. although i am not asking for this type of compensation, as it was my decision to go to another company, i appreciate the gesture. he also clarified that the free service call ad on yelp was an error since the addendum saying with repair had been cropped out. this has since then been fixed. i appreciate this small business efforts to be more transparent and trustworthy, amidst a market that often leans toward the opposite. if any more AC issues come up for me in the future, id feel comfortable contacting texas air repair, as they aim to work with the customer and have made themselves very accessible in any urgent situation.

Hi everyone Ive been meaning to post about my experience of replacing my 3 HVAC systems over the summer.I have a really old home that had 3 HVAC systems that were between 18-25 years old each. Each slowly failed over the summer one by one requiring me to replace them all. They all ran on the old R22 refridgerant which is unbelievably expensive to refill locally unless you buy it online.We had gotten some bids last year 2017 and were quoted 25k-30k by different companies.We needed to replace a 2 ton, 2.5 ton, and 3.5 tons HVAC system. This past summer I took 4 bids on a Friday. I requested bids for the lowest cost system at 14 SEER.ARS Rescue Scooter gave me a bid $19990 for 14 SEER CarrierSears gave me a bid of $21113 for 14 SEER KenmoreAbacaus gave me a bid of $28000 for 14 SEERChurch gave me a bid of $30412 for 14 SEER TraneIm probably similar to everyone else as this is not my area of expertise and I rely on other people to give me a fair bid, relying that theyre being truthful and fair. That first day all of these people continued to hover in my home hoping to be the last one to give their sales pitch. They all tried the pressure tactic that if I didnt sign that day they wouldnt be able to guarantee that they could install it this week. It felt very similar to buying a used car and incredibly annoying. They all also said if I found a better price they would match it.I took the weekend to think it over and did some research. Turns out the HVAC units themselves only run $2000-$4000 each depending on what brand at 14 SEER. Therefore it should have only run about $6000 to $12000 for the 3 units I needed. The rest of the cost was for labor. People were charging me $8000-$18000 for labor!!! Looking into what went into labor, it consists of adding duct work, installing air handlers, installing the HVAC systems. I only needed the air handlers installed in their preexisting space and needed no additional duct work added to the current systems so I couldnt figure out how they justified $8-18k for labor.The following Monday, I took additional bids, but this time I let each HVAC company know to just give me the bid and to leave my home as soon as possible. I also let them all know that I already had multiple bids from Friday and had more coming on that day and to give me their best price.Village Plumbing gave me a bid of $23403 for 14 SEER LennoxH-Town gave me a bid of $14700 for 14 SEER RheemCourtesy Air gave me a bid of $14380 for 14 SEER AmeristarTexas Air Repair gave me a bid of $11800 for 14 SEER Ameristar or GoodmanEventually I decided on Henry from Texas Air Repair even though other companies said they would match or better the offer. I personally think that people who give their best offer up front should be rewarded, not people who high ball you then drop their price $50 below the best bid you find after the fact.I upgraded the brand that I purchased and ended up purchasing a 2 Ton, 2.5 Ton, and 3.5 Ton 14 SEER Trane units from Texas Air Repair for $13500. I have been happy with the quality and the professionalism displayed by Texas Air Repair so and would highly recommend in the future.I definitely learned a lot about HVACs and hope this experience helps someone else out there from getting gouged.
