    I have been using South Belt Air & Heat for many years. They have always been honest and dependable and will continue to use them for my central air system. Matthew and his team did a wonderful job replacing my entire AC system they are hard workers and dependable I recommend this company highly. The attached photo is just the outside unit they replaced my entire system after the storm a couple of weeks ago fried the inside unit I cant express enough how much I appreciate Matthew and his team kudos to them and thank you again, I love my new system including the surge protectors, again thank you very much!

    We have been using South Belt A/C and Heating for several years. We have recommended them to family and they now use them. Always arrive at scheduled time. Very courteous and listen if there is a problem or just getting our seasonal “tuneup”. Nick, usually comes and is very knowledgeable about what he is doing. He has shown us ways to prevent problems and help our system last longer. The price is always fair!We are grateful for an honest dealer that we trust! I would recommend them!

    I was shopping around for a quote to replace the AC, not only did they get back to me quickly, they also gave me the best price out of all my quotes. Also they scheduled me for next day install. Install looks great! (Much better than my old unit) As a bonus, they talked me through all the quirks of my AC systems and all the questions I had.10/10 would recommend .

    Firstly, Id like to thank those of you who took the time to write a review. You were helpful in my decision making. Our ac tanked on Friday. By Saturday afternoon Mathew had our new unit in and cooling our home again. He rigged it so we didnt suffer through the rest of the day and night.My husband and I were splitting and stocking firewood for the winter and needed an air-conditioned home to cool off in.     I have used this company in the past for a few repairs and they have always been great and responsive. I recently had them come out and fix my 18 yr old a/c and while it was still performing it was obvious that it needed replacing. Matt provided a quote that day with an American Standard 5 ton unit as an option going forward if I decided to replace. He didnt try to add on unnecessary things with the new unit which is exactly what I was looking for and they were by far the fairest of all the companies I had come out for a quote. Its refreshing to see a company that wants to provide great customer service and that is exactly what they have always done. Highly recommend!!!

    Some of the best service Ive ever had. I called them to do an inspection because I was selling my home. They came the next day, never mind hurricane Beryl 2 weeks prior and all the work that was going on. The tech, Jimmy was professional, respectful, and prompt. I couldnt ask for better service.

    AC went down after power was restored following hurricane Beryl. Called on Tuesday. Same day service call. Diagnosed the problem in about 20 minutes. Gave me a very reasonable estimate. Came back the next day to replace the broken parts. Up and running again. Zero issues. Very satisfied customer. They were prompt, courteous and the price was reasonable.

    Recently I used South Belt for my annual heater checkup. Scheduling the appointment was simple and fit my schedule perfectly. Matt the technician called early in the morning to give a window of when he arrive. In a couple of hours he arrived and went into the attic to check my unit. Took approximately 15/18 minutes and finished the job and stated my unit was in excellent shape and ready for the cold weather. This is not the first time I have used South Belt for all my ac/heater needs. I have trusted their service for not only checkups but also installing new complete ac and parts for over 40 years at 4 homes I have owned. I have no issues in recommending them. Great people and always excellent service.

    My family has been using Southbelt A/C for many years for our personal homes and rental properties as well. The unit in my personal home had been struggling for a quite some time. Southbelt did all they could to keep it going and got me a lot more time with the old unit than I ever expected. The old unit finally gave out and Southbelt Air stepped up once again. Matthew got my call on a hot weekend in May. He came out the same day and hit the unit with some freon but told me it was time to replace it. Matthew not only gave me a wonderful price, and I had shopped around to make sure, he got the unit fully installed that very next Monday. I can’t say enough good things about Matthew or Southbelt Air. They are honest, great at what they do, super family oriented, and who I will recommend and keep going back to for many years to come.

    My first experience with them after my old a/c company become untrustworthy. Got a spring check up was advised of a potential problem that would need to be addressed when I was ready. It was going to take a week or more without A/C because of freon leaks that they were worried could not be found without $$.I asked South Belt for an inspection.     Really great HVAC shop. They fixed me up super quick and for super affordable. I just needed a capacitor, its that time of year, they had it fixed in about 30 minutes after I called for about a couple hundred bucks. Matt the technician was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dude was fast too, was done in 5 min flat.He also recommended I get em back to do a spring cleaning next year to increase the longevity of my units. Love it, great suggestion, doing that for sure. I had another HVAC guy but hes always busy running around town, I was thoroughly impressed with the expeditious service from South Belt. If youre on the south side of town dont hesitate, that 4.9 stars is not a fluke give them a call, theyll fix you up. They just got themselves a new loyal customer.     We have been customers of South Belt & AC for 15+ years. They take care of 2 houses for our family. A neighbor recommended them and we’ve never used anyone else. They have made repairs, system upgrades and new installs. They tell you what’s on the horizon. Like if your unit is limping along but can get through a summer. Always fair, excellent service. They don’t up-sale you either. Their employees stay, which shows in their service. I recommend them all the time.

    My home warranty denied my ac claim. Took them two days to get here in 95 degree weather. I called South belt and they scheduled me to be the first the next day. They showed up on time. We discussed what the previous technician said. He agreed that the fan blade was bent but quickly discovered that the power loss was an inside breaker that was tripped but difficult to see. The previous technician never looked for inside breaker box. He had a new fan and installed it quickly and we noticed an immediate change in cooler temperature. South belt took great care with us when we flooded with Harvey and tried to get us the best price. When I wanted to have my AC checked for seasonal maintenance the lovely young lady in the office told me where to find coupons to save some money.I love this company. They will always get my service They deserve more than 5 stars.

    All I have to say is, if you are looking for a quality solution that uses quality products, great people, look no further. Great company that has been in business for 25 years for a reason. From the initial consultation to the installation was about a week (because of New Years holiday and needing to pick up equipment from manufacturers- but South Belt was ready!)     We had a wonderful experience, considering it was an 90 degree day! Our technician Nick called and let us know he was running behind and told us he’d still be there after 5pm. He communicated with us the entire time of our service call.Nick got to our house after 5pm on a Friday, and quickly assessed the AC issue and determined it was a faulty welding issue from the installation. He was able to fix the problem, recharge our Freon, and clear our output line.He gave us amazing service and we could not thank him enough. We were especially pleased, since we had guests coming in for the weekend.

    We called during a very hot day or AC went out and South belt air conditioning. Heating came out in a prompt manner and extremely reasonable price and it took care of my family. I recommend yall gave them a call. My Intel side person was Rosie and Matt was my technician. Matt did a wonderful job, got us up and running in no time and it was just a capacitor. Based on the reviews, I called South Belt, got the call center who told me a tech would call me back. In maybe less than 5 mins, Nick (Specialist) returned my call and in 15 mins was at our house. He checked everything thoroughly, explained each repair and cost effectively and was very gracious from start to finish answering all my questions in the sweltering heat!! I also feel that the pricing was fair and not like I was being charged unreasonably or for charging sake. I am so grateful for having found this company and extremely impressed with the service.     My A/C stopped working in the middle of the night Friday/Saturday.😵. After calling my Home Warranty people, they said they would return my call in 24 hrs EXCLUDING sat/sun!!! Warranty folks said that was the best they could do, so canceled them, saw South Belt Air in my local paper, gave then a call and the tech called me back 10 min. later. He was there within 15 min, diagnosed the problem and got us up and running in the next 2 hrs!!! SO glad I saw the Ad. They were prompt, courteous and honest. The tech recommended several things but was never pushy or smug about anything, nothing but professional. Will absolutely call them again for any A/C issues in the future. Thank you South belt A/C.

    Nick was my technician and he was great! Arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and thorough on my maintenance service. Took the time to inspect my ductwork to make sure there were no issues. He answered all my questions and concerns. I had a coupon and forgot to use it, but the price was still cheaper than most quoted. Only issue I had was getting them to send me a proper link to send online payment. Never thought I had to chase a company to give them my money. Other than that, all around good experience. The other reviews are correct, this place is worth your time and money.

    Nick and all the folks at Southbelt have kept us from the elements for over 20 years. We have used them for three complete ac swaps (including coils in attic and compressors and ductwork).     We have not had heat for 2 weeks, another company tech said he couldnt fix it. I called Southbelt A/C, they sent Matt within an hour, he had the unit fixed in about 30 minutes after arriving. We will now use Southbelt for all our future needs. Wish we could give more than 5 stars!

    South Belt Air and Heat definitely earned 5 stars! On the middle of this summer 2023 unbearable heat, our AC was totally unable to keep up. Another HVAC company evaluated the cooling system two weeks before, and said the system was performing as it should. Based on that input, we proceeded to change 3 big windows and to add insulation to the attic ( to be fair this was needed). After completing these two jobs the cooling problem persisted. The other AC company returned, this time they said that the condenser unit needed to be replaced, for a cost of $5800. On a Saturday afternoon we decided to get a second opinion from Sun Belt, they were at the house within three hours, used some monitor troubleshoot the AC and said everything was fine, but that the outside unit was extremely dirty and was affecting the unit’s performance, . They washed it and with the help of some hose and for the cost of the visit we have a system that is cooling again!!! SouthBelt was Reliable, honest, prompt and efficient!

    Its not fun when your AC goes out in July. They were able to send someone out the day I called, within a few hours and within the time frame they said. The technician was professional, courteous, and quick. He had the repair complete within about thirty minutes. The prices are fair and they are not trying to sell you something you dont need. This is the second time they have come to repair our AC, the first time was about two years ago. I highly recommend this company and will definitely call them for any future repairs.

    My first contact was my request for repair. Jimmy came out and filled our free-on and we discussed the need for replacement of our 18 year old, 5-ton home AC. Jimmy responded immediately to my two other calls for free-on prior to the installation of the new system.Yesterday, the new AC was installed, and Alex and his assistant worked 12 hours to get it done. There were wiring problems from the previous system. They did not leave until it was done.     Honest and they do the job right and fair.Choice home warranty sent a repair guy that wanted to replace the whole heater and blower unit for $1700. South Belt came out on my dime and repaired the faulty blower by securing it in the box. They have also done excellent work for my parents and when we had AHS warranty service. Going back to AHS so I can use South Belt.5/4/2021 We had a small repair to be done. Per usual, they were prompt, professional and honest. This is a great company to work with. They also did work for my wifes parents last year that was superb as well!
