Mark was very professional from start to finish, but what really stands out is that he is honest! Part of his service call was to replace freon in the unit. After going through the process he was upfront and told me the unit did not take any freon, no charge for that.....I have seen situations where service technician would still claim to have put the freon in. He is very thorough in checking the system and is knowledgeable. I have been in my home for 17 yrs and dealt with 3 different A/C companies, but from here on out, I will only call....... E.Walk A/C

I recently had a new a/c unit installed in my home in RR by a business in Austin. As temperatures rose outside, it quickly became obvious the new unit was not cooling properly. The contractor’s solution was to perform additional work and charge more money to fix the problem. That didn’t sit well with me for obvious reasons and I wanted a second opinion. I found E. Walk Services online and was impressed by other people’s experiences. I contacted Marcus (owner) and he came by on a Sunday evening and was literally able to identify, solve and explain the problem in a matter of minutes. I also found out the initial contractor’s recommendation was completely unnecessary. What was a desperate situation quickly became one of relief and I can’t recommend him highly enough!

They have worked on our A/C and heating system several times, from installation to repair and maintenance.First of all, and I think most importantly, Marcus answered the phone and was able to make it out almost right away to fix one problem, and made it within a few hours for another emergency (you know how important having a functioning A/C unit is here in central Texas!) They do their very best to prioritize and take care of someone who needs help ASAP.Second, they do great work, are professional and ethical and treat you and your property with respect while on the job. They do just whats needed to get you up and running without taking advantage of the situation. If you just need a capacitor replaced, thats what you will get, nothing more. If you have an old system on its last leg like we did, they do an exceptional job installing a new one for a fair price, and it will be done right. I absolutely recommend E. Walk Services, we have been very happy with them and have no doubt you will be happy too.

TLDR: I will use E.Walk at every opportunity and recommend them to friends and family.The first time my AC went out, I happened on Marcus’s number from a Reddit thread. He answered the phone and promised he could be there same day at 6pm.Despite my skepticism (it’s hard to find good folks), he showed up — clearly having put in a hard day’s work already. He took a quick look at my unit, determined that the capacitor went out, showed me how (voltage loss), and did the repair.I called him out a month later when the AC stopped blowing cold again. He and Andey (Andy?) determined that there was like 5lbs of sand/crud in the drip line causing my system to freeze up. They worked hard to finally clear it. It was an impressive amount of stuff in the drip line!!Unfortunately, my system fan went out a little while after — yet fortunately, I had go-to AC guys at this point. :DThey came out and fixed it quickly.My home has a loft area, and I was concerned about the temp differences between upstairs and downstairs. It was hard to maintain a good differential and was getting expensive on my electric bill.I asked Marcus to come by and provide recommendations on moving thermostats or even installing mini-splits in the areas that aren’t cooling efficiently. He worked me in to his schedule and diagnosed a damper issue and saved me a significant amount of money that I would have otherwise spent on mini-splits or adding another unit to accommodate the change in temps.In 4 repairs and north of 20ish hours of work, I’ve spent less than $3k (including parts!)These guys are honest, intelligent, caring, experienced, funny, and good-hearted. Call them.

I too, am a small business owner and consider Superior Customer Service as a long lost trait, in today/s digital, robotic and automated world, but a necessity to provide to my customers for them to remain loyal and dedicated. Marcus did not fall short there, either. He made sure I was not inconvenienced, going out of his way to accommodate my schedule. There were several issues and he fixed them all. He was so kind with my kids as they were fascinated to watch him work. The cost was lower than other companies also. Im a customer for life now and I would not trust anyone else to do work on my HVAC!

My dad told me once about the importance of having a good relationship with your plumbers and air conditioning/heater repair professionals. When you dont have water or a/c, youll know why that good relationship will come in handy. Im new to the Austin area so I relied upon my awesome general contractor for a recommendation for an a/c company and contacted E. Walk Services and so glad I did. My unit was almost 20 years old and was panting to keep up with the heat. Marcus and Aaron came, did the installation, connected the thermostat with my phone app, and cleaned up after themselves. Very helpful and personable and I was able to give Marcus a general list of things I needed done around the place, such as new mirror installation, troubleshooting/fixing wall-installed microwave, replacing batteries in tall automatic blinds (and doing research to figure out that was the issue), door handle adjustments, shaky fixtures, running cable through the wall, fixing chair armrests, and they procured the materials and knocked it all right out after an initial consultation/walk-through, and worked very fast as well. I’ll definitely be reaching back out for any handyman needs.

I woke up one September morning to find that one of my A/C units was not working. I called Marcus, he came over that morning and quickly diagnosed the failure of my main communication control board on my variable speed system. He made the call to get one, picked it up & installed it that day, and I had a cool house again by evening. Ive only been in this house for one year, and he learned that the system was still in warranty ($1,100 part), and all I had to pay was a small installation fee. In addition, he advised to add surge protectors, so now Im well protected from our crazy weather.Dont call anyone else. E Walk will save you money and headaches.

Repairs and Installations done right!. E Walk services has done a great job on all the repairs and minor renovation projects that I’ve needed on my little house. Mr McKinney does everything the right way, and the finished product is just fabulous. He has cheerfully tackled all the things I’ve needed done, from plumbing repairs, vanity replacement , redoing the floors, repair of a severely water damaged ceiling, to replacing the faucet in the kitchen.
