Discount tire sent me here to get stud replaced on my subaru. Very active crew, managers walking around making sure the customers have been taken care of. Only complaint, no communication via text or phone call on updates on vehicle. Dropped of vehicle at 8am, returned to the shop at 3pm and my car was still parked where I left it. I understand other vehicles have to get worked on too but an update would be nice.

I want to start out by stating that I’m very skeptical about trying new repair businesses, but after trying out Cruz-N-Carz, they’ve definitely earned my business.Unlike previous businesses I took my car to, Cruz-N-Carz was able to communicate effectively and most importantly diagnosed my main concerns.Tony was the first individual who was always in contact and explaining the process and providing updates. The staff was very friendly and it felt comfortable, unlike other shops who do not make you feel welcomed.I also had the opportunity to meet the shop owner, Danny; who was very friendly as well and authorized a new customer discount which was very awesome!But as previously stated at the beginning, this shop has earned my business and I look forward to having them work on my current vehicles, as well as my classic cars in the near future.

I needed some automotive work and took my car to Cruz and Cars. I had heard they were honest and fair. They were that and more. They are very nice and the shop is filled with interesting memorabilia and the waiting room is really.nice. But they are definitely pet friendly! If you love dogs you will be right At home with a couple of doggie companions hanging out with you.i will recommend and use them again.

I had a great experience getting my oil change done by Manny! He was professional, quick, and didn’t try to upsell me like other places tend to do. I really appreciate how honest he was with the pricing, and I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. First, the owner Rick was exceptional. So was ALL of his staff including the mechanic(s). I had to wait almost 5 hours for front & rear differential and for a fan belt change. They should have ordered the all the parts and fluids when I made my appointment but they didnt. Then their parts supplier delivered the wrong fan belt which added at least 1 additional hour. The point is when making an appointment IN ADVANCE and when expressing exactly what you want serviced, you need to have all parts and fluids on hand...not order them when the customer arrives.I gave 4 stars because Rick was gracious enough to knock $50 off the total charges. Only to find out after getting home they discounted $39.93. Seems like splitting hairs for me having to wait as long as I did through this comedy of errors. One final comment is I believe their pricing was on the side of excessive for what I had done. Having said all of that, I will return here for service in the future ONLY because the owner was kind enough to spend time with me and with his staff. Than you Cruz N Cars.

Regardless of how much time I spent at the shop Wednesday, I ended up having a great time there while waiting for my Mitsubishi to be finished. I got to meet Rick, Brayan, Danny, Rikki (sorry if I misspelled), Steven, but who kept me company the whole time I was there were Lucy and Ozzie! 💕 The customer service was beyond what Ive experienced at other shops. My father was a mechanic since I could remember as a kid. What I really enjoyed observing is how every one had a role in taking care of the customer and working as a team. I can honestly say that wouldve been exactly how my dads shop would be run. He loved his skilled trade, family, friends, classic cars and his CUSTOMERS. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

LADIES BEWARE--THEY WILL TREAT YOU GOOD.I am a transplant to the HTX area and stumbled across the gem after a referral from Discount. Tony was patient, kind, and explained everything to me. (Now, Im not saying I understood it at all....but he was gracious enough to explain again, to my father.) The pricing s fairly transparent and according to my father seemed reasonable. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Tony SAVED ME THOUSANDS. He strongly advised me and my father to allow him to go the extra mile when diagnosing my car. All in all, it was worth it--because the is headed to the junkyard.

Yes they are an honest and good mechanic shop. They caught a problem with my car that had been unnoticed from where I previously had gone to. While there I noticed the staff was very attentive to the customers, from offering the TV remote, coffee, temperature adjustment and checking if they needed anything else in general. They offered an Uber to a couple. Other shops that Ive been to just say they dont offer you a ride home and youre just stuck, but here they went a step further. When checking out they told me that they included complementary roadside assistance for me, just from the work that I had done today. No other shop has ever done that! Highly impressed! Highly recommend!

This is by far, one of the best businesses I have done business with. Not just in the auto mechanic industry, but overall. When I called to make an appointment, they were very professional and gave me multiple options to fit my schedule. When I arrived, they had great customer service ( so much that I may send my team members there to learn a thing or two 😂) and walked me through each step of the process. They gave me a quote up front before even starting the work. Once the problem was identified, Tony called me with the explanation and also sent over a quote for my review and approval. They treated me with the upmost respect and care while getting my vehicle repaired quickly. Car tracks straight, and true. They centered steering wheel. Other shop I took it to before them messed it up. And they were able to set it straight. Owner was great to talk to as well.

Was sent to the business and was a little hesitant. I was greeted warmly, and explained my problem. Brand new dodge Durango 2024 with warranty. Dealership had my vehicle for 5 days and still hadn’t done a diagnostic. They had no loaner so I had to rent. Went to them and 1 to 2 hours later it’s was done. Even though. I came out of pocket yes !! , I need my vehicle to make money. My future place for repairs and anything. Trust this business not to screw you over.

The folks at Discount Tire recommend these guys - brought my 2018 Tundra in for ailment issues. Theses guys wrote the book on customer service . Everyone there treated you like family. Before going to Cruz-N-Cars, I went to 3 other places and they all tried to rip me off. The previous shop (Ensenada Car Service) recommended me to completely replace the front and rear ball joints on my car which would cost almost $1,000. All I needed was an alignment because I changed my tires.The guy at Cruz-N-Cars (Bryant) was so wonderful, he took me under my car and showed me that there was nothing wrong with my cars ball joints.I got the alignment and oil change done for $150 and had wonderful and fair customer service - thanks Bryant, you deserve a raise! hahahahhaNow I dont have to go to the dealership anymore and I will always recommend Cruz-N-Cars!Thank you!

I took my 2002 Lexus ES 300 today Saturday Jan 4 2025 to Cruz-n-Cars for the first time for 4-wheel alignment + steering angle sensor reset. This shop was recommended by my friend mechanic after he installed new struts at the front and at the back replacing 20+ years old worn out struts.I met Brian Medina at cruz-n-cars. We went over under the carriage inspection - part of their 30-point inspection. He showed me a few leaks which I thought were already fixed. He also explained me why the leaks are happening and how to get gixed. He came across as a very knowledgeable young , bright and enthusiastic fellow with tremendous potential in the automotive repair field.I spoke with a few more auto repair shops in the Pearland area but decided to get it done at Cruz-n-Cars.Cruz-n-Cars did an EXCEPTIONALLY great job 👍👍👏👏 and I am VERY pleased at the end results so far. I will DEFINITELY take all my cars to this shop for future repairs. They earned me as their new customer with their exeptional customer and repair service.I will also DEFINITELY recommend this auto repair shop to all of my friends and their friends as well and all my family members and their friends too for their auto repair needs.

The very friendly owners daughter provided transportation to/from my home, so that I could work from home. For the amount of work/parts involved, I felt as if the pricing was very fair. I was very surprised that my job was completed in one day! Also, imagine my surprise when they told me it was being washed, which included the tires! They did sort of a mini detail job on it, as well...much better than I would have done myself...all around GREAT service! I have found my new mechanic! Manny and Lee are super stars! I had my car serviced for the first time this past week (04/26/2024). The process could not have been easier! I requested a quote through their website, and the price was fair, and follow-up was great! When I walked into the shop, I let Lee know that I already had a quote from Manny, and instead of making me wait for Manny (he was on the phone) Lee checked me in, and got me setup. They are super friendly, and the work was done within a day! If you are looking for a mechanic, you definitely need to give them chance!

The employee took me to the back while my truck was lifted and showed me some issues wrong with my vehicle and how alignment couldn’t of been completed properly due to struts needing to be replaced etc. They didn’t have to tell me but they were honest and I appreciate that. There is not many businesses that will be honest with their customers much less just people in general therefore they deserved this review. This was my first visit to Cruz-N-Carz based on a referral from our neighborhood message board. I am very pleased with the work they provided but more importantly, I am overwhelmed by the customer service and detailed information they provide before, during and after the job is done. Every person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and helpful. Before they started any work, I received a detailed work order and pictures of everything they intended to work on and why. After the job was complete, several days later, one of the owners (a Cruz family member) called me personally to see if the job was done to my satisfaction. Cruz N Carz also sent me an inspection report via email with photos and an estimate report. I went in for just an alignment and got a completely free detailed diagnosis of my car. Now I can make informed decisions about how much I want to invest in my car going forward.The staff put a carpet floor protector and a steering wheel cover to keep my cars interior clean during their inspection.The waiting room was nice and had free coffee and Wi-Fi. My only suggestion would be to have a desk in the waiting area to be able to do computer work.

If youre like me having your car fixed is up there with root canals. However, Ricky, Manny and the other professionals at CruzN-Cars can make the experience as painless as possible. I had several issues on a motorhome as well as a typical oil change on a Dodge Journey. (a 2011Mercedes , 1965 VW Baja Bug and 2008 Pontiac Solstice) for maintenance and repair. My AC in my car was out...HERE IN HOUSTON there was no way I could survive another day. I stop by the shop early in the week and the gentleman at the front desk scheduled an appt for me to come back the following day. I did, and I am very happy I did so. Step by step I was informed of the possible problem, how it would be diagnosed and the final steps to get my AC fixed. My car was finished and working Saturday afternoon. Well, to top it off the shop closes at 12 on Saturday, however not to fret because the auto technician waited for me to get there and informed me that if I got there too late, he would place my key in the lock box!!! I will 100% recommend Cruz and Cars to anyone!! They helped me save thousands of dollars and they do quality work!On Tuesday morning, I woke up to deflated brakes. I was scared to drive all the way to Cruz and Cars, so I pulled into the nearest mechanic shop. I stopped in at Service Street on 11620 Broadway St. They told me I had codes on my ABS and needed to replace the whole module. They also said I needed to replace my brake booster and my master cylinder as well. They told me it was going to cost nearly 7 grand to have my car fixed. It really stressed me out. I thought I was going to be carless forever. There was no way I could afford to fix all of that. I decided to have my car towed to Car and Cruz. When the mechanic at Service Street found out I was going to have my car towed, he told me he noticed my calipers were leaking. Only now this comes into play. Anyways, Cruz and Cars took over and they told me my ABS Module was fine. They said I didnt need to replace my master cylinder or my brake booster. They said it was my calipers and brake line. I cant tell you how relieved I was to hear this. I respect this company so much for being honest and not taking advantage of my situation because Im a female and I do not have much knowledge on diagnosing car problems. The professionalism, respect, manners, and the honesty that I received from Cruz and Cars is something that I will always remember and if I have any other problems with my car, I will not hesitate to bring my car to their shop again. I am so impressed and pleased with my experience at this business! I initially brought in my car for a wheel alignment, but it was discovered that there was damage to the suspension that would have made a wheel alignment ineffectual. The folks at Cruz n Carz brought me into their workshop to show me the damage in person (without me having to ask) and to give me the option to either go forward with the alignment on the car as-is (which they did not recommend) or to replace the damaged pieces and do the alignment as a part of that service. I was so glad to be shown the damage in person, and this really built up my trust in them. They made me feel like a partner in my car care, which is the way it should be, but is something you dont always find wherever you go (especially as a single woman with only a very basic understanding of car mechanics.)Josh in particular was absolutely wonderful to work with to coordinate my repairs. He not only recognized me and greeted me by name after a good deal of time had passed between my first and second visit (I procrastinated setting up an appointment for the repairs) but he also went out of his way to secure me an (unasked-for) discount before the service had even begun. THEN, it was bad luck that the same day the car was in their care, the price on the individual parts rose $15-20, but Josh worked his magic to lock in the price I had been told that morning. Also my car was covered in pollen and dust (I was so embarrassed to bring it in, in such a state!) but when I arrived, it was spotless - again, a courteous service done for me without me even having to ask!The professionalism, skill, and warmth at this business are things I truly appreciate, and they have secured my loyalty as a customer. I will absolutely be coming back for any future work on my car, and will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

I was referred to Cruz & Cars by a friend who knows the owner and gave the shop glowing reviews. My car is 14 years old but new to me. Ive only had it 4 months, and this is the first time Ive taken it in for any kind of service.A thorough inspection (30-point?) comes with every oil change, so I looked forward to that. Considering the age of my car and the fact that I have always had oil change shops tell me things that need to be addressed, I was SO surprised that they did the oil change and told me the car was in great shape. No upselling here at all.There were also two warning lights on my dash, which I asked them to take a look at. They ran diagnostics on that, told me what the issues were (sensors), did a test drive, and told me next steps in case lights come on in the future. Frankly, they could have told me anything and I would have believed it, simply because the car is 14 years old and there could be all kinds of issues. Instead, they were totally honest, I feel, and sent me on my way with a fresh oil change and assurance that they did a thorough review and found nothing concerning.I met the owner Ricky, and he and his wife and dogs joined us in the waiting room while the car was being serviced. Theyre just good people.This is a quality place run by great people who treat others well and love what they do. Communication was great. Pricing was more than fair. The place is clean and comfortable. I have nothing but praise for Cruz & Cars!

Well, theres not a whole lot to say, which is a good thing. If you want to know an honest place to go to for auto work and was like me, didnt know of one and took my truck to the crooks at the Ford dealership, then you dont need to call any other place than these guys. They take care of you, all the way around, give you affordable options, work with you on getting parts, give you frequent updates, are always extremely polite as well as use towing services and specialists like the differential specialist they had work on my truck that are just as kind and helpful and do not rush you away, as well as seem to have your best interests first. They saved me a lot of money and gave me reassurance through it all that we were choosing the best option. Cleaning the truck before I picked it up is something a lot of places dont do anymore, but little things like that go a long way in showing your commitment to customer service. 07/30/2018 - Once again, I am very happy with the service we received. My son was driving his truck and heard a popping noise. I told him to take it to Ricky at Cruz N Carz. Ricky test drove his truck and the passenger wheel was about to fall off because the wheel bearing was broke. He said that the driver side wasnt as bad but also needed to be replaced. I appreciate Ricky working with my single mom budget! Thank you Ricky, Lisa and the guys at the shop!09/09/17 - We received an estimate from Firestone for $680 needed on a car. I called Ricky at Cruz N Carz and he said to bring the car in and he was sure he could beat the estimate from Firestone. Oh, he beat it alright! The repairs were about a 1/3 of the cost!
